Red is my favorite color. But you have to use it wisely. A red roof in a residential neighborhood stand out and looks tacky next to dull homes. They should've went with a black or gray roof.
With that being said, you are going to need to jazz up the rest of your house. Paint etc. add black or white etc. nice looking house!

As a carpenter who worked on traditional roofs I find these videos great to watch but I'm even more impressed with the generosity of what you do - keep up the great work and inspire good actions in others!
yeah i'm a carpenter too and roofs are just one thing most people can't or won't deal with.. up on a 20 year old roof and its like you're standing on marbles.. use a harness they say... i say how am I suppose to get to the top to anchor it without walking on the roof? so many reasons not to do this work not to mention one tiny leak runs down and takes out an entire ceiling .. seen that before even took out the first floor ceiling on a 2 story duplex we built. one thing though these home owners need to call their insurance immediately and tell them they just got a new steel roof it will lower their premium and reset the clock on the prorating for replacement if there is a huge storm.

Hi guys, great job again. This brings back memories. Now i am retired, but i also used to be a slater. Hanging from bell towers and church roofs. Secured of course. It is the most satisfying job ever. When you finished a bell tower or church roof, you go down and check your work. It makes you happy to see what you have done.
