We can't do free roofs but we have handed out food to people on the streets, cleaned up trash and do snow removal or lawn care for free for our elderly, or even just overwhelmed, neighbors. I firmly believe if everyone was the change they want to see in the world itd be a much better place. Thank you guys, you helped me take the leap into action and it honestly feels great.

It is a great feeling. I am an electrician. I have volunteered my time often to help others improve their homes. -Sometimes I can't help fixing something that might cause a danger to them or their kids and pets. Imma be like "I'll be back tomorrow with my van, cuz I need to fix that hazard over there..." LOL
Another small thing I do is pick up garbage whenever I am out and about and stumble upon something. Just a few pieces here and there and carry them to nearest garbage bin on a daily basis. Whenever I go for a walk I usually bring a plastic bag for just that... every little bit helps.

The problems I see with this are
It adds unnecessary weight to the roof of the house
You can't check for damaged wood under the shingles like if there is a weak spot or something
And you can't check or replace the ice and water material
Do you guys check the drip edge of the roof when you do the gutters
@@TwoStacks217I was just thinking the same thing. With the condition the shingles were in there's gotta be damaged plywood just from water/ice intrusion alone. The weight probably isn't as much as an issue as the metal roof is pretty light compared to shingles but If the home is older and the beams weren't really done well I can see even just the old roof being and issue. So I'm not sure why they don't remove shingles to check unless it just to save time and dumpster rental?

At the beginning, everyone is so suspicious and skeptical, at the end of the work it's nice to see the happiness on their faces, you are a blessing to the neighborhood!

scamartists, conartists, snakeoil salesmen etc etc ruined the trust most people have in helping or accepting help from eachother..
i dislike(because i can,t use the other word) them as much as the ''people'' who smash car windows in because they can,t steal a car because they are too lazy to work for a living..
these guys and other guys on youtube are a breath of fresh air, and at least i can watch the commercials and give a like.
It's a joy to turn skepticism into smiles and make a positive difference in our neighborhood.
True for everyone in this position, but in retrospect this couple had reasons to be extra skeptical due to the burglaries and vandalism happening to them, even though they warmed up pretty well once they knew they could trust Rudan Roofing - and probably also watched them on YT which kind of puts one at ease very quickly, as one does.

If someone walked up to my house and said they were going to replace something for free that is easily a $10,000 job at the very minimum... you'd better believe I'd have my guard up. Elderly people in my area have been preyed on by people offering free roof repairs, free landscaping, etc. People I know have either been scammed or had their places cased and eventually robbed.
Milos and his brothers are angels. They are well raised young men, and embrace their community by giving back. We all need to support them and their company Rudan Roofing and help them get to 100 Million viewers. These guys deserve it!!!

The machine that forms the gutters from the coil, is expensive af. Them having one gives them great capabilities and saves a lot of time on job sites. It pays for itself in time saved. These are quality contractors.

Yeah, they're about $15k on an average 2-panel roof. I imagine this would be more with the extra angles and such. Not sure how they estimate it, but yeah, very expensive roofs.

Yea that might be true, but no metal roofing company will install a metal roof on top of a shingle roof. LOL
It's also kind of misleading, these "modular" whatever roof panels are not the same thing as a metal roof.
@@jims.3987 yeah sure it's not a long run metal sheet roof but it's not much different in the end lol.
@@jims.3987 The length of the panels used depends on the type of roof & size. Have a close look at the the choice of materials used on a more simple 2-panel roof (known in uk as a gable roof). No way would you use longer run metal instead of these panels on a 4-panel roof (known in uk as hip roof / pyramid hip roof) as it would create a high amount of waste off cuts due to the cuts at the angles of the roof. Then consider the smaller intersecting roof area around the chimney. this fully justifies them using a smaller modular panel size on this roof. These are the experts. They are paying for all the labor, materials & then they guarantee their work for life. Listen at the end of the vids they assure the home owner that even though they have had this amazing work for free they still give a lifetime guarantee just like any paid customer. True professionals. I hope they are able to continue this great work & surpass one milion subscribers.

On rare occasions, humanity still manages to show me I should have a little more faith in it. This is one of those rare times. Great work guys.
I spend too much time on UA-cam... after a few days of looking at negative things that is all I get suggested to me.
I think they call it "Doom-Scrolling".. you end up watching nothing but horrible things, then after a while you start to believe the whole world is like that.
I now force myself to ignore as much of the negativity as I can on here, then I start getting suggestions like this video.
