It was absolutely insincere and I doubt he learned any real and valuable lesson from this ordeal. He probably just learned to be more careful for any cameras that may be watching him. Pathetic. The people deserve better than you, sir.
People like this man will continue to press their advantages any way they can, and continually manipulate people into being their puppets. They take and take and take and only give when it’s to their benefit. Gross. The officer who pulled him over showed great courage in upholding the law in the face of being threatened with her livelihood. The truth is that this type of behavior from official higher ranking persons has obviously been overlooked as a custom and it was a shock for him to have been treated equally as someone who simply broke the law. Without the video the officer may have been punished wrongly. He was dead set on making her pay with her career the entire stop and even as he left. I'm sure after he reviewed the footage he knew his trained political tongue ,as silver as it is ,couldn't lie his way out of it. Without the footage he would've twisted the incident to his favor. He kept trying to emphasize to the other officers that he produced his registration and couldn't understand why he was ticketed unjustly to make it seem like the officer was abusing her position.

He lied. Officer Beskin asked him SIX times for the registration. He ignored her and threatened her job instead. Very important man who wants to end a cop's career because she wrote him 3 citations and because he felt disrespect. He deserved every single citation. What a d-bag. I'm actually glad that his political career ended.

Yeah, the way he lied and twisted everything is terrible. If that's how he behaves when he's being filmed, what's he like behind closed doors?

He is a misogynist and a liar. It's like he believed his own lies! And I hated that the backup officer was kind of seeming to placate him instead of telling him she has every right to give him a ticket. Even though I know he was just trying to de-escalate the situation

This is another reason for bodycams. They protect the officers as well as the public.

That’s the first thing that came to my head when he said he had been around for so long, and everyone else, the rest of the officers kept asking also if she knew “who he was” like they would’ve turned their eyes to the other side as they had before for him, no wonder his shock to be pulled over like any other peasant

When someone shows you who they are, believe them. This person tried to get the arresting officer fired and completely ruin her life all because he thought he was above the law. He showed himself to be a liar. There’s no reason to start believing him now.

You know, it's a beautiful irony that this man's career and reputation went severely downhill after he threatened the career of a diligent and hard working police officer for doing her job.

That was his true character, do not let this false apology cover for the true character of this bloat. Literally a bloat lol. Thinking hes above the law and threatening people just doing thier jobs. Imagine the level of corruption an administration lead by someone like this would have.
