Notifier AFP series was the series before ONYX (NFS), AFP panels ran clip unlike ONYX which can run both clip and flashscan, Notifier Fire Warden (NFW) is rebranded fire-lite which runs lite-speed.
the afp 200 is the smaller version of the afp 400. this was before the notifier NFS series when you have your 320s and 640s and all of that it is indeed running on clip. some modules poll orange because notifier makes some special types of modules that blink in different colors and all of that good stuff
I understand it's the smaller version of the AFP 400 however it seems more similar to a Notifier NFW2-100. 320s and 640 3030s do not typically run clip protocol and they should be on flashscan as it is the superior faster protocol
@@nics-systems-electric Firewardens do not run CLIP they run a similar protocol to Fire-Lite Litespeed. The AFPs were more like the predecessor to the onyx series. With the AM-2020 being the predecessor to the 3030. The AFP-200 was CLIP only
The smoke detectors are either cpx or sdx-551’s and the heat detectors are fdx-551’s and those detectors use clip and how you can tell is the color of the leds when the detector polls
The one thing I really like about Canadian fire alarms is that all the panels you normally see with bare circuit boards in the US have fancy dress panels.
@NIC'S - SYSTEMS & ELECTRIC i thought that school looked like the secondary high school with the roof mounted exhaust fans. which that seems like if you were to get as close to them as you were you could feel the suction from the fans.
It doesn't look like my school or the other 2015 school. But it does have some similarities to the 96 high school but that's still a completely different building and design
The afp 200 runs a werid protocol is not analog I don't think but its still basically clip i dont think its kinda hard to explain but its still compatible with all the devices with clip support.
That panel runs clip. A lot of the modules from that area only had the option to flash one color. The color also signifies the type of module. Red is monitor module / fire, green is relay/ control module, yellow is isolator module.
Wish we had more bell systems in the USA, they're rare to see. At least for me haha. 13:55 "this is how it should be, so loud it hurts. Fire alarms aren't supposed to sound nice!" Haha agreed

@@zacharykorbet9690 I know exactly what a chime strobe does and is used for lol. I'm working on a project right now where I install them. There's a few exceptions like hospitals and nursing homes. My project right now with my company is a mental institution, which counts as a hospital, but we're installing speaker circuits. Glad you like it!

The AFP-400/AFP-400C run flashscan, but an older version, so they poll red. But they still poll at a higher rate of speed.
i honestly like the AFP-200 its basically a AFP-400 but more small nice vid
also the 200 has a 4 line display and 400 has a 2 line display but i think the 400 has more characters idk

Hey Nic the oldest elementary school has simplex bells and feu fire pull station and old simplex detector and mb10-24 bells

lol

No these schools are pretty basic small ones, just separate cooling for one or two rooms

Time for new pull stations and possibly either new batteries ore the charging panel needs replacing
If you watch it you will see there is nothing wrong with batteries or panel connecter just came loose
