With extremely powerful strikedowns and a strong hordeclear rotation using the push attack into heavy 2 into secret light 4 sweep into heavy 2 (repeat as necessary), the Branx just does it all. Slow, methodical, unstoppable.

So glad they finally gave ogryn a 2h melee weapon. No having 2 1hand weapons doesnt count
OGRYN IS STRONGEST!!! Branx Pickaxe is awesome! I love mine. Ogryn is the only class I play, it's so much fun.
i hopped on after 7 month break, melk gave me a god roll branx with thrust and the heavy-attack toughness blessing. it’s been carrying me hard as i derust, this combo is nutty.
This weapon made me love Ogryn again. Beaning Crushers and Maulers in the skull with this thing never gets old
Branx is my favorite melee weapon right now. It has enough single target damage to take down ogryns quickly and good crowd clear with H2, L2 combo. Very happy with mine. 😊

Something is causing artefacting in your peripheral vision. Probably FSR frame gen. Frame gen does not handle post-processing effects well, chromatic aberration and motion blur.

@@Mr1337Fabulous that would be Nvidia framegen in my case but probably, yeah. I also play on GeForce Now cloud gaming so that will contribute to the problem. It is what it is!

My fav is the karoslas with strength and cleave on hit, along with the hard hitter keystone
Same here, Karsolas all the way. It's only slightly slower on killing heavies, but has way better speed and cleave for dealing with everything else. IMO the better option overall.
I could deal with the slowness of the Branx if only it didn't stop cleaving after like 4 poxwalkers it feels like :/
Just feels silly imo, to be swinging a huge chopping weapon as a huge Ogryn, and struggling to clear hoards of chaff enemies :/

I feel really lost when it comes to curious, for the longest time i've seen that stamina and block has been giga meta on everything and I see you using neither. Is there a certain playstyle that asks for stam+block, is there no meta and its just personal preference? Toughness+Regen+Gunner/Sniper sounds really good and convenient especially as Ogryn feels like it takes 100% extra damage but that's just hitbox issues.
@@wowandrss Stamina and block efficiency is much better on the human classes than it is on Ogryn. We have tons of innate stamina and stagger to stay safe in melee. I much prefer to go all-in on Toughness and damage resistances against ranged enemies. It is, like you said, very convenient.
Branx is too slow imo and the ripper has too much kick and doesn't deal great damage to spam

Try to avoid panic-firing with the Ripper to maximize its hitting potential. Aim when you get a clear sight/crowd and use the non-aimed mode when at close range only
Remember: slow, controlled bursts
@@anthonyleblanc9723 as he said. The Ripper mk V has really tight spread in hipfire and good minimum pellet count. Drop the screen shake in options to 0% also, that really helps with recoil.
