This thing is great of you're just looking for effects. The fx depth knob is the best feature and needs to be used more in every demo on UA-cam. Its gonna save me a ton of time spent sampling and resampling and resampling and resampling and resampling to get the same effect on my KP3. :)
Just plug whatever you want in to the back and off you go. I sometimes put my mobile phone through my mixer (via headphone jack) and mess with peoples voices when they ring me, its funny. No one rings me now.
I got one of these a while ago, and I love it, but I haven't been able to play with it, probably because it's not hooked up right. I don't get the Loop Slicer. It sounds like it loops a the it loops the previous beat, vs. the regular Looper, which loops the current beat. I hope that makes sense. Also, what's the second song? (the one that samples Wanna Be Startin' Somthin'?
Might sound like a dumb question but do you have sample the sounds into the Korg Kaoss Pad Quad in order to utilize the effects processor on it, or can you send any audio signal to it and be able to use the effects processor as well? Any help would be awesome. Great vid btw!
+La Fino It may be a part of Michael Jackson - Thriller - Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'. Starts around 4min 40sec in that song. Hope this helps. Although, Michael Jackson isn't the original creator of "Mama Say Mama Sa Mama Coosa"
+La Fino No problem. I see what you were looking for now. Well, thanks for introducing me to "The Bucketheads". I've heard "The Bomb" before, but didn't know where it came from. Thanks again.
