Those block houses were selling for $140K when I moved there. Half a million for blue paint and crappy landscape? They’re nuts! At least the third one was flipped properly.
Thanks for the tours. The two in the 500’s are nothing special and are priced as if it was at the peak of the real estate cycle. Unrealistic sellers, buyers know values are on way down.
Neibor in seminal hights just sold 2 bed 1 bath small home backed up to noisy hiway for $400'000 tax ass was $150'000 . No fence small lot no garage . So i don't see prices falling they still seem to be skyrocketing.
These institutional investors need to get out the way and stay out after prices drop 50% or more!!!….that’s the only way people can come back into the market and qualify for an affordable mortgage all over the nation!!!
Thanks for commenting. That’s the downside to Clearwater…most are older in established neighborhoods. What little new construction that is available is expensive. Let me know if I can ever help.
@@schoomzer I never said they weren't overpriced. I actually agree with you, but one is already under contract so they will eventually sell.....more than likely for less than list price. Thanks for commenting!
@@joshbryanrealtor In my opinion, the people who are buying these overpriced properties are people who do not have the sophistication and knowledge to know that they are overpriced, and it's the realtors who are keeping the facade going.
@@schoomzer probably…I think they are overpriced and tell my clients that, but it’s up to them to decide on what they want to offer. The last two I’ve put under contract have been well under asking price plus seller concessions.
WOW! No thank you. Honestly, I think HOAs are a ripoff. Spending that much on a house and having them tell me what I can and can’t do it, is not ok. Can you do the same kind of video in Dunedin?
People are moving out of FL as quick as they are moving in. Once the people up north and in California cannot sell their houses due to high interest rates from the feds and job losses all of this is going to come back to reality
@Dylan Newell that's true, but u also have to factor in that there isn't really any new home construction in tampa bay. The only houses that will be on the market are the ones already here, so it will still be a bidding war.
No these are older homes and unless the roof has been replaced will NOT hold up to a hurricane. That means a probable total rebuild. Taxes might be $2400+ but insurance will cost the equivalent of the house payment each month.
Good nonbias informative walk thru I already sold and bought this past July of 2022 and I probably shouldn't watch because it creates anxiety and I really wanted to wait a year before buying but I didn't want to throw $30k+ into the wind for rent. I was just telling one of my boys to save money and don't live beyond your means for a year and I promise a good deal will come but this market isn't for first time buyers yet unless you have 20% to put down and always keep in consideration property tax and insurance because the old days of refinancing a year later are gone for awhile
@@joshbryanrealtor I sold a home from So Cal and looked in Tampa area (my wife's family lives) but we ended up moving to outside of Knoxville area of TN because of property taxes and homeowners insurance are cheaper. As you know Florida and Texas housing market really blew up. Tennessee really doesn't pay even close to CA wages and it sounds like Florida and Texas are catching up but luckily I was able to pay most of TN home from CA equity. TN seems to have everything we are looking for minus wages but everything isn't about money (so they say)
Okay Josh. The first Home, I'm not a fan of, besides it's Underneath a Septic tank, Which in my Opinion is Dangerous. The Second Home, Only thing, that is Favorable is the Kitchen Cabinets, Needs Plenty Upgrading, through out the whole house, and on the Outside as Well. WAY, WAY OVER PRICED. 1969 home PRICED at What $508,900 Are You Kidding Me. I'm very Sorry it's not worth that kind of Money, Not a Pool Fan, nor a Laundry Room into the Garage. The Primary Bedroom is extremely Small, But the Bathroom Tub, has 2 SHOWER HEADS, Which is Completely Weird. When this House was built in 69, Why are they asking over $508,900 Today. But Good luck to any Potential Buyers, Who Purchased these Homes!
Prices in FL don't make sense to me. They seem too high compared to places like Boston where the standard of living and social protections education and health care much higher. Did you know you qualify for free health care at the best hospitals in the world if you can't afford it.
I sold my 2/2 with carport for $173,000 in 2020. It kept getting passed up on the MLS because people thought there was something wrong with it, but there wasn’t. We just wanted to move. 😅
I agree about being overpriced. The 3rd property has gone under contract since making this video. Thanks for commenting. Let me know if I can ever help.
🤣 if only “we” controlled the market. I actually prefer a balanced market over this insane seller market. Thanks for watching and commenting. Let me know if we can ever help.
Why are Americans so OBSESSED with GRASS, what PURPOSE does grass SERVE??? The insects have a BIGGER place to live & roam, compared to the home owner. RIDICULOUS. Grass cannot be eaten, it’s just a USELESS expense

2nd house 500k. 😂😂😂 These people are crazy. They might want to drop that price about 200k.
Yea 🤣 It has been temporarily taken off the market since shooting this video.
220 max
3rd house built in 1969 less than 1500sqft. And they are asking over 500k. What a joke. Not to mention Very small bedrooms, No storage.
That property has gone under contract since the time of this video.
These houses are worth about $200k

The first house 384k. 😂😂😂. That's hilarious. Small bedrooms, No Landscaping. It's not even worth 300k
I wouldn't pay $384k. Thanks for watching and commenting. Let me know if I can ever help!
I figure it's worth 140-60.
Never put white marble in your kitchen.😮

In the first house, they never even power-washed the moldy fence
120000
All 3 aren't bad but last 2 Josh priced that high will force buyers to go purchase a newer house
