Don't EVER underestimate the power of worship music. This morning, God and Hawk Nelson saved my life. I was stopped at a red light waiting to turn left this morning. There was a big SUV to my right. I had this song on in the car and since there was a red light I closed my eyes and fell into the music and what God was saying. I was singing along and making a fool of myself. All of a sudden I am jarred out of my trance by the around of screeching tires. I look up. The light is green, the SUV next to me is rocking from hitting its brakes, and then this black car runs the red light and goes whizzing past me at about sixty mph! I didn't even see it until it went by because the SUV blocked my view. If I had not been so distracted by God's word, I would have gone through the light and died. I believe with all my heart that God kept me from hitting the gas as soon as the light changed. He distracted me through his words and music and I am alive right now because of it! I am so moved by this truly amazing event. I do not even know how to react except to praise God and give thanks. I love you God. Thank you for saving my life today. Please share this with everyone you know so they can know that God truly does work in awesome ways.
Prayers! I was just thinking earlier today, so many people say "If God exists, why is there so much evil?" Though the real question is "If God doesn't exist, why is there so much good in our world!?" I mean literally. There is so much good! Thank you God!

I lost my dad when I was 19. I’ll be 40 in February. I was angry and hurt for so many years and wasted so much time. He wouldn’t want you to be sad, angry, or hurt. He knows you miss him. Take heart that he ran his race and is waiting for you with Jesus. Run a race he/He would be proud of.

I had a similar thing happen recently! I was going through a tough bout of shame, and I asked God if He still loved me through everything I'd put Him through. A song called Proof of my Love played on my phone, and I rolled on my back in bed, looking at the ceiling. Right where my eyes landed, in all the random patterns of speckles and dots, there was a perfect little heart shape right there. I was absolutely stunned, amazed at what that little detail implied. Needless to say, He still did. And He always would. ❤

I remember falling into self pleasure after getting close to God and I read a couple bible verses and I went into prayer in repentance and I asked, How could you love a sinner like me, knowing what I've done. After the prayer I layer in bed and started to listen to my Christian mix on spotify and The first song that came up was Never too far gone and this was the second, after that I have never doubted God's love

Is it the fire's fault it will burn you or is it your fault for touching an open flame without protection? God is a consuming fire, to be in His presence as an imperfect being is to die. He is so perfect that imperfection dies when it is not covered by something to protect it. The reason God came to the world was so that He could provide a protective covering so we wouldn't die. Jesus is that covering. However, instead of just covering our sin, He takes it away. It's not God's fault humanity screwed up. It's not God's fault bad things happen. Whatever happened to you, I'm sorry it did. Religious people and even churches keep people from meeting God and it's despicable. But listen, even if you don't believe, you still have the decision to believe or not believe. You can choose to accept the covering or end up burnt but God would prefer you don’t end up burnt. Before you group me together with other religious people, know I have made my faith my own. I do not worship God because people told me to or even because my parents did. I believe in Jesus because He called my name. He wanted me and He still does. He wants you too and He absolutely adores you and He doesn't want you to be without Him. Just learned that Hawk Nelson just renounced his faith and is no longer a Christian and doesn't believe in God. But when I hear this song it's hard to believe. He posted that a certain scripture out of 1 Tim. has a lot to do with it. Very sad and hopefully he will come back to the Lord. The Lord has blessed him with such an amazing gift.

Wow. It seems like everyday I have a new favorite song. Rarely bc of the artist, more for the message (though I do acknowledge their talents that God ministers through them). Not even sure how to put what I'm feeling into words but I'll try... I'm 29, have my own life story just like anyone else but today administered a pill that was particularly hard to swallow. Heard some local news at the top of the hour of the hour on my way to work that was sad to hear and just another reminder of how lost humanity has become, quickly said a prayer regarding the families involved.... 10 minutes later my brother called and said "Did you hear about the murder/suicide today? Well it was "so and so" (our childhood neighbor with whom we had so many memories old and new) Long story short, My 30 yr old friend was murdered by her 35 old boyfriend who then turned the gun on himself. Both had children and families that loved them. With such a heavy heart I spoke with my boss about the situation and she told me to leave and go be with family if I needed to. I honestly considered it. But as I got into my truck and started it, THIS SONG WAS PLAYING and I never heard it before so I UA-cam'd it. Suddenly a calming peace swept over me as I pictured my savior on the cross for someone undeserving such as myself. I also pictured my friend's killer and how desperate he must have been to call his little daughter and apologize for anything bad he had ever done to her and then stole the heartbeat of a young woman and took the life that was bought by the blood of Jesus Christ. I imagined that if only he could have had a relationship with the forgiving Father that I know, maybe this would not have happened. I'm usually not outspoken and open with my emotions like this, but LORD HOW DESPERATELY WE NEED YOU NOW MORE THAN EVER. To all those who took the time to read this, THANK YOU so much. Maybe say some prayers for these families and all people who are feeling this lost and alone. It's not at all what God wanted for His MOST PRECIOUS creation. May God Bless and comfort the lost, weary and broken ones. He loves us so much that He gives us a choice to do whatever we want. He doesn't force us to serve and worship Him. I just wish that we could make better choices. BTW, I sincerely request in advance that no one leave any negative reply to my comment. Let's stay positive and uplifting. Thanks again.

This is my favorite song, when I was in my meth addiction 6 years ago before I got saved, this song was like God spoke directly too me and was pulling me out of darkness I cried so much playing this on repeat for weeks. I've been sober now 6 years and I'm getting married, Jesus was for me and gave me a new life. And I was the most disgusting sinner and he took me as I was not as I ought to have been.

It saddens me to see someone lose thier faith, idk what happen for him to do so but the way i see it is like this, if toby mac can go threw the pain of losing his son and still fall to his knees before God and thank him for his life he gave him, then surly whatever hardship Jon is facing now can be taken care of by God. I grew up in a Christian family with a mother who is a minister and my dad as a pastor I developed a huge love for god and the fact that I grew up on the east coast and lived so close to the ocean this song emotionally touched me because gods love was compared to the ocean which has no ending and so vast and wide there’s nothing stopping me from believing that everything god has done for us is out of his never ending love

Yet, I can't look at their hands, their feet, their sides, their head, and see the statement that says "THIS is how much you mean to me". Only with Christ. I remember when i was little I was in a big red sabburbin and it hit a big pick up truck and my seat belt came undone and I flung forward and hit the window but as I think of it now I feel that God or my guardian angel protected me from going through the window so pls know to trust God in scary times
7 years ago I was struggling with drug addiction bad… I was at a program that was strictly faith based. That’s where my foundation started. Unfortunately I relapsed not too long after that and almost died from a fatal overdose of fentanyl. Luckily I survived and I am now 5 and a half years clean of all drugs! This song always stuck with me because gods love is abundant and his grace and mercy is ever ending! Praise God!!!!

God can speak through anything and anyone. This morning I was praying because I felt I had just not done everything the Lord had led me to. I felt very beat down and discouraged. When I got in the car and turned the radio on the first words I heard were"I am for you, not against you." I have always loved this song. If the writer is struggling, listen to your own words and ask God to prove Himself to you. He doesn't have to but He will because He loves you. And remember Balaam. God uses donkeys when He needs to.

I was talking to my taekwondo instructor and I have told him a lot. I'm not insanely close in my relationship with god. He said listen to this song and you are beloved by Jordan feliz and when I heard both I started sobbing. I was recently saved but I'm going through a lot and this song and many others have gotten me through a lot. I'm so thankful for getting a chance to get closer in my faith.

I listen to all these words of worship and I want to embrace them, yet I fight them. Ive sinned, and continue to sin, and I fight myself trying to become a better person. I wonder if God will truly forgive me in the end. I need his strength to be my strength to get me through all these inevitable experiences. Please lord guide me.
joshua gomez I hear you. I don't fight them anymore but I do embrace them now. In the past I did fight them. Last year I gave my life to Christ. I have lived a sinful life for the past 20+ years. I know from the scriptures we are forgiven and wiped clean of our sins, and I felt the Holy Spirit talking to me when I had asked Him, but through the year even though I feel closer to the Lord than I ever have in my life, I still have thoughts that are sinful. I'm not living that life anymore, but because of these thoughts, I also wonder if I will be judged against Him in the end. I keep hoping and praying for an answer and certainty I guess. If there was just some way, but maybe the Lord knows my struggles and is there to guide me even when I keep falling so I can stay on the path. Like many people, I don't have my doubts in my faith, but sometimes my salvation I do... I Pray the Lord continues to guide both of us.
I understand. But Christ didn't come for the people doing well, Christ came for the sinners, for the people making mistakes and making wrong choices and the people doubting themselves. He came to give us a chance to be better. He loves us and knows us. Don't give up💙
Jim Picirilli it is a battle of Spirit over flesh. Having the thought of sin cross your mind and then quickly crushed and pushed out is not to be ashamed of. The Holy Ghost is there with you as a comforter in those times. He is helping you blot out those sinful thoughts coming. Repenting and continuing that battle is what you do to wash you new. You will fail. But that is why Jesus died for you. So that if you do fail and you look to him and live through him. He forgives you and keeps his infinite love with you.
I feel you brother. It's doubt, and it's a human experience, so it's nothing to be ashamed of. But lemme tell you the truth here, while you're wondering/fearing if God has forgiven you, God has already forgot your sin. He's waiting for you with arms wide open, just like the Prodigal Son parable. He never hated you when you strayed away, He sure doesn't hate you now
Yeah, I'm here as well after hearing that Jon left the faith. I pray that God is still visible in Jon's life through the most beautiful ways imaginable. This morning, God and Hawk Nelson saved my life.
I was stopped at a red light waiting to turn left this morning. There was a big SUV to my right. I had this song on in the car and since there was a red light I closed my eyes and fell into the music and what God was saying. I was singing along and making a fool of myself.
All of a sudden I am jarred out of my trance by the around of screeching tires. I look up. The light is green, the SUV next to me is rocking from hitting its brakes, and then this black car runs the red light and goes whizzing past me at about sixty mph! I didn't even see it until it went by because the SUV blocked my view.
If I had not been so distracted by God's word, I would have gone through the light and died. I believe with all my heart that God kept me from hitting the gas as soon as the light changed. He distracted me through his words and music and I am alive right now because of it! I am so moved by this truly amazing event. I do not even know how to react except to praise God and give thanks. I love you God. Thank you for saving my life today.

I lost my dad when I was 19. I’ll be 40 in February. I was angry and hurt for so many years and wasted so much time. He wouldn’t want you to be sad, angry, or hurt. He knows you miss him. Take heart that he ran his race and is waiting for you with Jesus. Run a race he/He would be proud of.
Testimony: I was in my car asking God if he still loved me. My husband went into the store and I changed the channel on the radio to Christian music and this song came on right at the chorus: Look at my hands look at my side.
I had a similar thing happen recently! I was going through a tough bout of shame, and I asked God if He still loved me through everything I'd put Him through. A song called Proof of my Love played on my phone, and I rolled on my back in bed, looking at the ceiling. Right where my eyes landed, in all the random patterns of speckles and dots, there was a perfect little heart shape right there.
I was absolutely stunned, amazed at what that little detail implied.
Needless to say, He still did. And He always would. ❤

I remember falling into self pleasure after getting close to God and I read a couple bible verses and I went into prayer in repentance and I asked, How could you love a sinner like me, knowing what I've done. Is it the fire's fault it will burn you or is it your fault for touching an open flame without protection? God is a consuming fire, to be in His presence as an imperfect being is to die. He is so perfect that imperfection dies when it is not covered by something to protect it. The reason God came to the world was so that He could provide a protective covering so we wouldn't die. Jesus is that covering. However, instead of just covering our sin, He takes it away. It's not God's fault humanity screwed up. It's not God's fault bad things happen. Whatever happened to you, I'm sorry it did. Religious people and even churches keep people from meeting God and it's despicable. But listen, even if you don't believe, you still have the decision to believe or not believe. You can choose to accept the covering or end up burnt but God would prefer you don’t end up burnt.
Before you group me together with other religious people, know I have made my faith my own. I do not worship God because people told me to or even because my parents did. I believe in Jesus because He called my name. He wanted me and He still does. He wants you too and He absolutely adores you and He doesn't want you to be without Him.
Whatever you choose, choose wisely. There is a lot you could lose both ways.

Just learned that Hawk Nelson just renounced his faith and is no longer a Christian and doesn't believe in God. But when I hear this song it's hard to believe. He posted that a certain scripture out of 1 Tim. has a lot to do with it. Very sad and hopefully he will come back to the Lord. The Lord has blessed him with such an amazing gift.

Wow. It seems like everyday I have a new favorite song. Rarely bc of the artist, more for the message (though I do acknowledge their talents that God ministers through them).
Not even sure how to put what I'm feeling into words but I'll try...
I'm 29, have my own life story just like anyone else but today administered a pill that was particularly hard to swallow. Heard some local news at the top of the hour of the hour on my way to work that was sad to hear and just another reminder of how lost humanity has become, quickly said a prayer regarding the families involved....
10 minutes later my brother called and said "Did you hear about the murder/suicide today? Well it was "so and so" (our childhood neighbor with whom we had so many memories old and new)
Long story short, My 30 yr old friend was murdered by her 35 old boyfriend who then turned the gun on himself. Both had children and families that loved them.
With such a heavy heart I spoke with my boss about the situation and she told me to leave and go be with family if I needed to. I honestly considered it. But as I got into my truck and started it, THIS SONG WAS PLAYING and I never heard it before so I UA-cam'd it. Suddenly a calming peace swept over me as I pictured my savior on the cross for someone undeserving such as myself.
I also pictured my friend's killer and how desperate he must have been to call his little daughter and apologize for anything bad he had ever done to her and then stole the heartbeat of a young woman and took the life that was bought by the blood of Jesus Christ. I imagined that if only he could have had a relationship with the forgiving Father that I know, maybe this would not have happened.
I'm usually not outspoken and open with my emotions like this, but LORD HOW DESPERATELY WE NEED YOU NOW MORE THAN EVER.
To all those who took the time to read this, THANK YOU so much. Maybe say some prayers for these families and all people who are feeling this lost and alone. It's not at all what God wanted for His MOST PRECIOUS creation.
May God Bless and comfort the lost, weary and broken ones.
He loves us so much that He gives us a choice to do whatever we want. He doesn't force us to serve and worship Him. I just wish that we could make better choices.

I did not know jon had lost his faith, thats to bad ive listend to alot of his music growing up along side toby mac and a good deal of others... I hope he does have a miraculous shift back to christ. It saddens me to see someone lose thier faith, idk what happen for him to do so but the way i see it is like this, if toby mac can go threw the pain of losing his son and still fall to his knees before God and thank him for his life he gave him, then surly whatever hardship Jon is facing now can be taken care of by God.

I grew up in a Christian family with a mother who is a minister and my dad as a pastor I developed a huge love for god and the fact that I grew up on the east coast and lived so close to the ocean this song emotionally touched me because gods love was compared to the ocean which has no ending and so vast and wide there’s nothing stopping me from believing that everything god has done for us is out of his never ending love

7 years ago I was struggling with drug addiction bad… I was at a program that was strictly faith based. That’s where my foundation started. Unfortunately I relapsed not too long after that and almost died from a fatal overdose of fentanyl. Luckily I survived and I am now 5 and a half years clean of all drugs! This song always stuck with me because gods love is abundant and his grace and mercy is ever ending! Praise God!!!!

God can speak through anything and anyone. This morning I was praying because I felt I had just not done everything the Lord had led me to. I felt very beat down and discouraged. When I got in the car and turned the radio on the first words I heard were"I am for you, not against you." I have always loved this song. If the writer is struggling, listen to your own words and ask God to prove Himself to you. He doesn't have to but He will because He loves you. And remember Balaam. God uses donkeys when He needs to.

I was talking to my taekwondo instructor and I have told him a lot. I'm not insanely close in my relationship with god. He said listen to this song and you are beloved by Jordan feliz and when I heard both I started sobbing. I was recently saved but I'm going through a lot and this song and many others have gotten me through a lot. I'm so thankful for getting a chance to get closer in my faith.

I know you've already been addressed, but I'd like to say one thing. I believe you have history of sorts with the Lord. Simply because you come here, on this video, and spread your non-belief. It's much like walking into a church and shouting "The Lord isn't real!", but you had to know how to get to the church in the first place in order to do so.

I listen to all these words of worship and I want to embrace them, yet I fight them. Ive sinned, and continue to sin, and I fight myself trying to become a better person. joshua gomez I hear you. I don't fight them anymore but I do embrace them now. In the past I did fight them. Last year I gave my life to Christ. I have lived a sinful life for the past 20+ years. I know from the scriptures we are forgiven and wiped clean of our sins, and I felt the Holy Spirit talking to me when I had asked Him, but through the year even though I feel closer to the Lord than I ever have in my life, I still have thoughts that are sinful. I'm not living that life anymore, but because of these thoughts, I also wonder if I will be judged against Him in the end. I keep hoping and praying for an answer and certainty I guess. If there was just some way, but maybe the Lord knows my struggles and is there to guide me even when I keep falling so I can stay on the path. Like many people, I don't have my doubts in my faith, but sometimes my salvation I do... I Pray the Lord continues to guide both of us.
I understand. But Christ didn't come for the people doing well, Christ came for the sinners, for the people making mistakes and making wrong choices and the people doubting themselves. He came to give us a chance to be better. He loves us and knows us. Don't give up💙
Jim Picirilli it is a battle of Spirit over flesh. Having the thought of sin cross your mind and then quickly crushed and pushed out is not to be ashamed of. The Holy Ghost is there with you as a comforter in those times. He is helping you blot out those sinful thoughts coming. Repenting and continuing that battle is what you do to wash you new. You will fail. But that is why Jesus died for you. So that if you do fail and you look to him and live through him. He forgives you and keeps his infinite love with you.
I feel you brother. It's doubt, and it's a human experience, so it's nothing to be ashamed of. But lemme tell you the truth here, while you're wondering/fearing if God has forgiven you, God has already forgot your sin. He's waiting for you with arms wide open, just like the Prodigal Son parable.

Yeah, I'm here as well after hearing that Jon left the faith. I pray that God is still visible in Jon's life through the most beautiful ways imaginable. I also give thanks to Him for putting in Jon's life such understanding and sympathetic band members- their response to his announcement is the utmost example of grace that I have seen.
