Fun Fact: during the breakdown near the end, when Kevin is bringing the sparking wires together, you'll hear the words "Are you ready? Are you ready?" screamed in a call-and-response. The first one is Kevin, but the second one, the deeper growl, is Momo from BABYMETAL (the young lady on the left)! She also growls "Everybody" twice with Kevin at the end. Momo (Momoko Okazaki, aka "Momometal") is the newest member of BABYMETAL, just becoming a permanent member in 2023. BABYMETAL is one of the most unique acts in music today - a blend of J-pop vocals and dance choreography back by heavy metal instrumentation. BABYMETAL usually goes quite a bit heavier than this, with their backing band playing every genre of metal from heavy EDM (like this song) to thrash metal, power metal, progressive metal, and even death metal, and also sometimes incorporates world music styles like Indian, Celtic and Latin-American musical elements. While most of their songs are in Japanese, they've lately been incorporating a lot of English lyrics as well.

Wow, what a way to discover both bands! Fans of each band are sky high over how good this turned out. You should definitely check out each band separately, they both have tons of great stuff posted and they are fun as hell. Great first reaction. These are two unique bands - and two of the best. As for who had the idea for them to collaborate - I suspect that must have been BABYMETAL's producer Kobametal (or maybe it was the girls idea and Koba just made it happen ... I am guessing of course). Yes, the two guys and the band behind them are Electric Callboy. Go check out the completely normal videos for We Got the Moves, Tekkno Train, and Everytime We Touch. Everytime We Touch is a cover but the other two are original material, all EC, no guests. You're right, those two guys, Kevin and Nico, really are the greatest. So funny, so talented, absolutely original.
React to "We got the moves" and "hypa, Hypa" to get an impression what Electric Callboy does. These are funny, silly dudes. But also professionals. They are knowing exactly what they are doing.
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Electric Callboy (formerly known as Eskimo Callboy, but they changed it because they realised, that the word Eskimo is a slur term and an insult for the Inuit people) EC are a metalcore (more a partycore band nowadays) Band from Germany (from the city of Castrop-Rauxel in the Ruhr Area) and they are around for more than 10 years with 6 albums in general. The latest one Tekkno jumped to the first place in the german billboard charts after they released it in 2022. Hypa Hypa was released in the peak of the Corona pandemic mainly to cheer us up and also to introduce Nico as their new clean vocalist (replacing the old singer Sushi). So mainly EC don't take themself very serious but they take their music and the business very serious and work hard to create awesome music. Most of their songs are goofy and funny, but they also have extremly good dead serious songs like Crystals, The Scene or Best day (all three with Sushi on the mic) or with Nico Hate/ Love, Mindreader, Neon or Parasite. If you are new to EC I recommend Hypa Hypa (which started all the fuzz - they had also a collab with several other bands who copied Hypa Hypa in their own style i recommend We butter the bread with butter and also the Saltatio Mortis Version), Pump it, We got the moves, Spaceman, Everytime we touch and many more. They are produciong 90% of their music videos by themself and with Schillobros which are Pascal Schillo (one of the EC guitarists) and his brother. After it came to their ears, that people like to listen to EC in the Gym they released Pump It to create the ultimate Gym Hymn.
While I don't think there is a way to be ready for an Electric Callboy video, especially the first introduction to them, this one is even more surreal than average. If you want to check out some more, I would recommend for reaction: Hypa Hypa, Pump It, We Got the Moves, Techno Train, or Every Time We Touch. Though pretty much all I have seen have been solid.

@@Lakin3 I guess to get the fun of "Hurrikan" it's necessary to know that "Pump It" was rejected by the German ESC jury because for them the song was not radio friendly enough and that the first part of "Hurrikan" matches the bad taste of the jury members. So the song is a friendly "f*ck you" message to the jury members.
8:00 I feel like pausing would be not so bad if you provided any additional value to that moment that you paused. But like. You don't you just say something generic about the video which you could just do at the end, which is not that far away. Your memory should last that long.
I love seeing peoples first reaction to Electric Callboy because the shifts are always so hard it takes them off guard, seriously go enjoy a whole bunch of their videos theyre all amazing!!
Great reaction! You guys had me cracking up. You guys should definitely do more BabyMetal, those girls go hard. This is my first experience with Electric CallBoy, but I love their vocals and general craziness of the video
I’ve watched a lot of reactions to this song, and it’s wonderful to see some Babymetal fans discover Electric Callboy for the first time, and vice versa. You’re in the enviable position of having two new rabbit holes to explore
"I like their vibe so far... They've got an amazing vibe." "These dudes are funny as hell." Yeah, you're going to love the EC rabbit hole. Welcome to the party! 🤘
"The craziest switch?" Naaah, quite normal for Electric Callboy. "Hypa Hypa', "We got the moves", "Everytime we touch" as starting points are most common. I let others post the complete EC enceclopedia.
I recommend you a Spanish singer her name is Diana Navarro with the song "El perdón" she is a singer that transmits a lot when she sings and has incredible melismas. She is also very versatile when it comes to singing. She sings different musical styles. Best regards
Great collaboration by two of the best live bands out their ( i have not seen EC live but seen mv and live performances they look great ) i have seen BabyMetal they are fantastic live and have won best live band more than once + other international awards . Surrgest Megitsune live at PIA Arena or this song live at Fox Fest BabyMetals own Festival 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Welcome to the Foxhole 🦊🤘🔥 It's always nice to see more reactors getting into this amazing group, they're a global phenomenon from Japan and trust me you have seen nothing yet. They just announced a nee US Tour in November so don't miss out the chance to see them live. Here's a brief info about this amazing group: BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old when started this and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute) mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms. Their name is a reference to a new genre and not related to their ages or "baby" faces, is a pun intended play words with "heavy-metal" which sounds similar to "baby-metal". They are: *SuMetal* lead vocalist, now 26. *MoaMetal* scream and dance, now 24. *MomoMetal* scream and dance, she's 21 and is the new official member since April 1st last year. -YuiMetal- scream and dance, former member since 2018. None of them are related. After 2018 you'll see backup dancers performing along with them but none of them are official members, they don't sing, only dance, but that status change recently like i said. There's no other group like them around and teaming up with this group from Germany just elevated them even higher. If you like Jpop and edm elements then you're gonna find a lot of cool songs blended with heavy metal in their latest album "The Other One" released last year. Songs like Divine Attack - Shingeki, METALIZM, Time Wave and Light and Darkness among other great songs as well tracks and live performance from early era will make you bounce and rock with this insane group. Last weekend of May they did the live premiere of this song in Japan at FOX_FEST (a festival held by BM) and everyone went wild with this collab. The girl in the middle is the lead singer SuMetal and she actually dance less than the other girls (MoaMetal and MomoMetal) because she sings most of the time but regardless she can dance and sing and you won't even notice she's out of breath. About this song: This was filmed in Germany and the concept of the MV is they're breaking boundaries with the genres and they don't care about corporation decisions, the office with the suits workers and the Japanese boss kinda represent that. The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus but it's probably used way back before in more songs. The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with some guitar elements. The moment when they're breaking the wall is another homage to Aerosmith x Run DMC - Walk This Way MV, symbolism of breaking the boundaries with the music genres like I already said. Also one of the singers is holding up the cable with electricity during the breakdown is a reference to "The Cable Guy" movie. Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that in the MV, although fans spotted in the live version, so it was her after all. Love the euro dance and trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One. There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture that i probably missing a lot more. Fun fact: EC said in a reactor comment and later at their own reaction video that they did the bursting the walls scene in one shot, there will be a bts so we're waiting for more. The crew had to put all those disco ball on the celling manually just for this song. Next suggestion: - Road Of Resistance live in Japan official MV I'm gonna leave in my next comment where to get more proshot clips safe to react if YT allows me to do it. See you next time 🦊🤘🐭
The best words ever spoken in a reaction are always: I don’t know who these bands are! 😂 And knowing your other reactions made it extra exciting! I was not disappointed! Loved this 🤣🔥❤️🥳
I just wanted to give some insight on Babymetal!! they are a Japanese Kawaii (Cute) Metal band consisting of Lead singer Su-Metal, Scream and Dance is Moametal and Momometal. theyve been around since 2010 when the girls were just barley teenagers. Fun Fact Momo (Usually on the Right side of Su) officially joined the band in 2023, She screams the second "ARE YOU READY" in the breakdown if you guys are looking to go down the Babymetal Foxhole heres some songs id suggest Monochrome Rondo of Nightmare (with Mischifs of Metal Gods into) BxMxC Gimme Chocolate (the song that really took off for them) Doki Doki Morning (their first ever song) KARATE METALI!! (Ft Tom Morello) and if you want another awesome collab KINGSLAYER- Bring me the Horizon Ft BABYMETAL Hope you guys enjoy them if you do choose to take a look! you wont be dissapointed!! 🦊🦊
Never worry about pausing. It always enjoy when a reaction channel actually reacts without obviously acting up the hype. BabyMetal have many songs and music videos for you to explore. However, BabyMetal are notorious for copyright blocks.
That was a fun reaction! I can't say much about Electric Callboy, because I don't know much. They are obviously a very fun band, but I'll leave that to others with more knowledge. But I can say a lot about BABYMETAL, and if you like the clean, angelic vocals over heavy music, you have to check out some more of their music! They are fusing various sub-grenres of Metal with all sorts of non-Metal genres, and it's always very fun and entertaining. Their live shows are insane! Don't miss out!
Requested you guys investigate this gem a few days ago, and knew your FACES would be PRICELESS within seconds of seeing this Masterpiece... mixing Asian pop with metal is one thing, but adding techno & metalcore (+ all that humor) makes it a SOTY contender, big time. Thx fellas for checking these two Uh-Mazing groups out!~
Unbeknownst to most non-metalheads......this is actually most metalheads. Lol... But for real...Nico (clean vocals) and Kevin (harsh vocals) are amazing dudes. They radiate probably the best energy anyone could hope to be around. And BABY METAL is incredible as well. Those girls are so damn talented it's absurd. This was literally the best duo I could've hoped for...that I never would've expected. 🤙🏽
2 of my favorite bands SLAYING 🔥❤️🤘🤘 check out both of their stand alone catalogs. And I'm enjoying the pure introduction to EC. They're game changers IMO
Babymetal does have a song about drums. It's called Syncopation. Great song. Babymetal is also a metal group. This is what they do. Except they never sing like this.
Electric Callboy are a Metalcore/Electronicore band made of six Members. They were formed in 2010 in the city of Castrop-Rauxel in Germany under the name "Eskimo Callboy" and take themselves not too serious. After they learned that the word "Eskimo" can be seen as a derogatory name for Inuit and Yupik people of the Arctic they changed their name by replacing "Eskimo" with "Electric". They tend to create hilarious music videos which are almost all produced by the Schillo brothers (Pascal Schillo, a guitarist of the band and his brother Oliver Schillo (not a band member) who own a video production company). Most of their songs are about partying and having a good time, but they have some more serious stuff in their catalogue also. They blend Metalcore with EDM, Techno, Pop, Disco and sometimes even Rap music which lead to their very unique style that their fans call "Partycore". There are two main vocalists in the band: Nico Sallach (clean vocals) and Kevin Ratajczak (harsh vocals). Nico prefers the clean singing with his amazing voice and Kevin is more into the harsh vocals but both can do both vocal styles and back each other up if needed. If you'd like to check them out I would recommend "Hypa Hypa" ,"We got the Moves", "Pump it", "Spaceman", Everytime we touch (Cascada cover) or "Tekkno Train". For the more serious songs it would be "Hate/Love", "Parasite" or "Mindreader" .
I'm jealous wish I could drop to this video without reference 🤣 Take a look to Babymetal's Gimme chocolate and our new fellas Electric Callboy fans surely will suggest a crazy video from them Welcome to the Fox hole 🤘🦊

Hi from Ireland I subscribed for your gidle, yuqi kpop reactions, so cool you are finally looking at babymetal even ifbits a collab. They are massive, I urge you to check out three live shows to start, these are awesome as is most of their stuff. But these are recent.. monochrome live at pia, road of resistance live at pia, and metal kingdom, I guarantee you will be in awe at tge stage, show and audience. I doubt if you ever seen anything like it. After those 3 everything else is so varied in genre mix, and equally as awesome live 😊
Babymetal -- happiest and cutest metal ever as well as beeing the band that have crucified most teenage girls on stage ever. Never assume anything with them, they will lure you into feeling happy and safe before they kick you in the shins and steal your soul.
Try Baby Metal with Bring me the Horizon “ KingSlayer” live in Japan official vid .. They mainly sing in their songs in Japanese.. Try Catch me if you can … they are best seeing live ..

I would add "Hurrikan" as the bonus video 😊
EC: 14 years of Genre bending history, 6 members, great with both funny and serious songs and absolutely incredible live… check out more of them
Great reaction! You guys had me cracking up. You guys should definitely do more BabyMetal, those girls go hard. This is my first experience with Electric CallBoy, but I love their vocals and general craziness of the video
Ahhhh shit, yall bout to go down that babymetel rabbit hole!
Welcome to the electric callboy rabbit hole!!!!
Truly the collab,we didn't knew we needed.
Kevin screaming "my body is a weapon" will never not be funny.
Bro, bro, bro, bro, bro, bro, bro, bro, bro, etc.
Did you see how cool Nico and Kevin looked when they walked away at the end of the song??? Man, that's styyyyyyyyle....
Nice reaction!
Just awesome song!
🤘Ooh Ooh🤘
Japanese, german collab of the year. What a banger
I’ve watched a lot of reactions to this song, and it’s wonderful to see some Babymetal fans discover Electric Callboy for the first time, and vice versa. You’re in the enviable position of having two new rabbit holes to explore
"I like their vibe so far... They've got an amazing vibe."
"These dudes are funny as hell."
Yeah, you're going to love the EC rabbit hole. Welcome to the party! 🤘
The Kitsune got the MOVES today!! Hell yeah~~!! Inari is smiling and all the Kitsune are JUMPING!! ;)
Both just hit #1 on Billboard Rock charts. The first ever for either and well deserved. The hit banger of the summer, great reaction!! 🤘🦊🔥
More Electric Callboy please! They're funny and so talented :)
Y'all didn't just sleep on these bands, you've been comatose. 🤘
Great collaboration by two of the best live bands out their
( i have not seen EC live but seen mv and live performances they look great ) i have seen BabyMetal they are fantastic live and have won best live band more than once + other international awards .
Surrgest Megitsune live at PIA Arena or this song live at Fox Fest BabyMetals own Festival 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Turn up the video boys.
Welcome to the Foxhole 🦊🤘🔥
It's always nice to see more reactors getting into this amazing group, they're a global phenomenon from Japan and trust me you have seen nothing yet. They just announced a nee US Tour in November so don't miss out the chance to see them live.
Here's a brief info about this amazing group:
BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old when started this and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute) mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms. Their name is a reference to a new genre and not related to their ages or "baby" faces, is a pun intended play words with "heavy-metal" which sounds similar to "baby-metal".
They are:
*SuMetal* lead vocalist, now 26.
About this song:
This was filmed in Germany and the concept of the MV is they're breaking boundaries with the genres and they don't care about corporation decisions, the office with the suits workers and the Japanese boss kinda represent that.
Next suggestion:
- Road Of Resistance live in Japan official MV
I'm gonna leave in my next comment where to get more proshot clips safe to react if YT allows me to do it.
See you next time 🦊🤘🐭
belo resumo ^^
This was Awesome! Hope to see more Babymetal from you guys!!!
The best words ever spoken in a reaction are always: I don’t know who these bands are! 😂
And knowing your other reactions made it extra exciting!
I was not disappointed! Loved this 🤣🔥❤️🥳
This was awesome!!! We had a blast!!! We are definitely happy we didn’t disappoint. Thank you so much for your support 😎😎
@@jus2react ☺️👍🏻

🦊🦊
Cuteness and Craziness just got together and created the perfect music video.
Now that you have seen this one, go check out each band. Electric Callboy will crack you up and blow you away and Babymetal will blow you away.
Electric callboy are the GOAT - start with Hypa Hypa, and get ready for the rabbit hole🤟🤟
What about Ylvis???
Thx fellas for checking these two Uh-Mazing groups out!~
welcome to the Electric callboy rabbit hole
Welcome to FOXHOLE
Estás al borde del abismo y no hay escapatoria
#notacult
Unbeknownst to most non-metalheads......this is actually most metalheads. Lol... But for real...Nico (clean vocals) and Kevin (harsh vocals) are amazing dudes. They radiate probably the best energy anyone could hope to be around. And BABY METAL is incredible as well. Those girls are so damn talented it's absurd. This was literally the best duo I could've hoped for...that I never would've expected. 🤙🏽
It’s wild that this is actually toned down for both these bands, both of them usually go way harder lol
Electric callboy boy rabbit hole is highly recommended.
2 of my favorite bands SLAYING 🔥❤️🤘🤘 check out both of their stand alone catalogs. And I'm enjoying the pure introduction to EC. They're game changers IMO
Great reaction🤘🦊♪
Electric Callboy -> Hypa Hypa, we got the moves, pump it and every time we touch are must watches 🎉
Technotrain, Spaceman...
@@SolarCookingGermany not my favorites but why not 😃
"We need more shit like this!"
Signed.
"Spaceman" and "We got the moves" next from Electric Callboy. But... they got dozens of bangers to choose from! 😁
You will LOVE electric callboy!!
He ain't gonna lie
🤣
I saw you did a reaction to F.Hero and Millie.
F.Hero also collaborated with BabyMetal in the Song Papaya!
Babymetal does have a song about drums. It's called Syncopation. Great song. Babymetal is also a metal group. This is what they do. Except they never sing like this.
You are in for so much awesome content.
Dig into both of these groups.
You haven't seen anything. Check out ELECTRIC CALLBOY: Pump it / Hypa Hypa / Everytime We Touch/ Techo Train/ Enjoy bros!
The song is legit addictive.
love that you loved it :)
I'm jealous wish I could drop to this video without reference 🤣
Take a look to Babymetal's Gimme chocolate and our new fellas Electric Callboy fans surely will suggest a crazy video from them

Electric Callboy have such fun songs and hilarious videos. We got the moves is a good one. Pump it. Hypa hypa and many others...
The wild contrast between full on metal and fun catchy pop/dance choruses is the style of both bands, which is why this collab makes so much sense.
You need a deep dive on both asap
Unexpected pairing? Absolutely! Another unexpected pairing (and musical style) - Falling in Reverse ft. Jelly Roll!
Yep BabyMetal aren't to be slept on. Great reaction guys!
Do you take donation requests?
You should do their cover for Every Time We Touch!
You’d lose it!😆
I loved your reaction, you need to watch more babymetal, especially their live performances. I recommend babymetal and F Hero - PA PA YA!
BABYMETALis amazing live! Suzaka-chan is an internationally awarded artist!
“ Live it all behind” please: F.hero x Babymetal x Bodyslam 💖🙏🏼
Babymetal -- happiest and cutest metal ever as well as beeing the band that have crucified most teenage girls on stage ever. Never assume anything with them, they will lure you into feeling happy and safe before they kick you in the shins and steal your soul.
THE BEST REACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We need more Electric Callboy 😉
Try Baby Metal with Bring me the Horizon “ KingSlayer” live in Japan official vid .. They mainly sing in their songs in Japanese.. Try Catch me if you can … they are best seeing live ..
