Hey Chris, they made a reaction on you reacting to them. 😃
@@neelo821 I see it!! Thanks for the heads up!!!!
@@chrisliepe There you have it: ua-cam.com/video/9CQGZ51vgo8/v-deo.html
@@chrisliepe Are you going to react to their live performance?
@@ThraxxMediaOfficial You are not alone my friend! I actually have a course called "Discover Your Voice" that addresses your exact issue with judgment and self confidence. We use the first 3 modules of the course to actively practice non-judgement in ourselves and the experiences we have as we're doing certain exercises and mindfulness postures. You can request an invite to that course at chrisliepe.com :) Hope to be working with you soon!

Ayoooo they're here 🔥🔥🔥 pls do a reaction video to reaction videos lol
ayo bros, do your own reactions next..
The most fun song of alllll time!!!!
Hey, here u are
Can't wait to see live version of this one
🔥🔥🔥
70 years old and I'M ADDICTED TO THIS. Honestly one of the best music collabs ever. THIS is why I want to live for a long time more. So fun..... Pure joy. Loved it.
Many years and many great songs ahead of you!!!
I am pretty sure that second "Are your ready" Is actually Momometal, one of the girls screaming, not Kevin. That's why you thought it sounded differently.
Is Momometal
@@JuanGomez-dk6kf oh of course, corrected it
Came here to say this
I think it is Momometal, she can do this into Babymetal, like in the Metali live version or in Momobanger.
yes it momo and the part ( everybody) 13:56
RATATATATATA!! 😈
Been a fan of yours since your original version of The Current! So cool that you enjoy BABYMETAL. I got into them pretty recently and they kick ass. Same with Electric Callboy!
MY BODY IS A WEAPON
BABYMETAL x TERMINA when ?
Talented fella right here.
Andy Andy Andy
The fact they mixed in Momometal's growl when they shout "Everybody"" and also show her made me happy! lol I'm really glad they welcomed her growling in Babymetal. And now i'm getting to be a fan of Electric Callboy!
It’s the exact opposite for me! ^^
Huge EC Fan, instantly noticed there are other growls mixed in there and I‘ll definitely have to check out more Babymetal now! :D
on the "Are you ready"' you can hear her growl too I believe :)
@@Solkian66619 the 2nd "are you ready" is momo I believe
@@Solkian66619 Yes! Notice the EC singer lifts the right hand wire on the first "Are you Ready?" Then the left hand raises the other wire when Momo does the second "Are you ready" . . .Notice his lips do not move indicating it is not his vocal part. . . . .The wires and the growls represent each band. . .They are then spliced together to kick off the LETS GO with all of them together! This represents the 50/50 nature of this collab. I can't be the only one who noticed this? . . . . .🤘🦊🤘 (Hey, there is no disco ball emojji)
You don't even know how crazy Suzuka's skills and range as a vocalist can go. That girl is insane
14 years of Babymetal, there's a lot to hear and see.
wait what? how old are they? They look early 20s
@@MW66VB Su-Metal, the main singer is 26. Moa-Metal is 24. Momometal is 21.
Momometal just came in the band this year, replacing Yui-Metal who is also 24.
The original 3 started in 2010, at the age of 12 and 11.
@@regaubade8329 Yeah thanks. I did a bit of a deep dive on them last night. Discovered a few other Japanese metal bands in the process.
small correction: 12:30 in this section there are two "Are you ready?". The first one comes from the guy, but the second one (which he doesn't lip sync in the video) comes from MOMOMETAL from BABYMETAL.
She's the newest member who's known for growling. You really have to pay attention to notice, but once you do, it's quite obvious those are two different voices.
Momo also growls "everybody" at the end but that's easier to spot since she's shown on camera.
Man having Andy on the video was sensational. Works so well together with Chris breaking down the song.
imagine if he didnt have him there then it would be no video lol
Did u see how cool they turned around in the end of the Video?
Very nice reaction, I love your vocal analysis. The only thing you missed is that there was a BABYMETAL girl, Momometal, doing the growls too. She was the second growling ARE YOU READY (10:17) and the later she was in the mix along with Kevin.
Damn, really? That growl was really deep. I'm intrigued.
@@Jorgensen99 check out the three minute mark of this performance for more: ua-cam.com/video/RIgjfGHgwDc/v-deo.html&ab_channel=BABYMETAL
She can really growl!
@@Jorgensen99 Watch Headbanger Momo version and you will hear clearly ;)
@@Jorgensen99Check out their collaboration with Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello. It's called Metal and Momoko does it here during a solo skit. :)
The second ARE YOU READY is actually MomoMetal....ahahaha....Epic.
Chris, please do a vocal breakdown of Babymetal's "Divine Attack", "Mirror Mirror', "Monochrome", or any of their songs. Babymetal is not just bubblegum pop metal. Su-metal's vocals will bring grown men to tears. She is a top-tier metal vocalist.
Agreed!! You see performances like Tales of Destinies. In it's multiple signature changles which had to be rough to pull off. Which actually was a Tribute to Dream Theatre"s Dance of Eternity. To the legendary performances of Rondo of Nightmare Mischiefs of Metal Gods.
At Budokan live and Black Night performances. Su-Metal was only maybe 17 in that now classic show. Which even at that point you could see a Metal superstar in the making here. Great observation on that here. :)
From Dusk til Dawn! 🤟🏻
I think he would like Monochrome Live, then the first take version as vocal analysis . . .🤘🦊🤘
@@MSIContentfuck yeah, I feel like her vocals shine a lot on Rondo of Nightmare too!
That fucking turnaround at the end by electric Callboy is the move of the century
It was so incredible to see them together at FOX_FEST in Japan. They gave us the best 5 minutes of fun and happiness of our lives. BABYMETAL invited Electric Callboy to their stage, and they sang and danced together. The entire arena, full of the crowd, got lit and exploded! It’s so easy to join the party! Ra Ta Ta Ta Ta! 🤘🦊🤘
I just saw Electric Callboy on the 19th in Boston for the first time and let me tell you what.....They sound just as good live as they do in a studio. It was amazing. I'm 52 and believe it or not I wasn't even close to the oldest person there. I swear there were people in their mid 70's there rocking out. I will never forget it and I'm planning on going to see them the next chance I get.
You have stumbled across my favorite band Babymetal!! Please review more of Babymetals songs!
I get the feeling he's not interested. We had a whole vocal discussion without even acknowledging that Su-Metal was even singing, and only a passing interested that Babymetal was even in the video, it was all about EC. Not his thing, I guess.
@@marcmacinnis6610noticed he mentioned Rico (i think his name is( clean vocals and is live vocals but Su nothing 🙄
@@marcmacinnis6610 last album is a banger
@@marcmacinnis6610 Let's be honest, singing technique wise this song was really nothing special from Babymetal, especially compared to many of their other songs. There really is not much to say about their vocals in this particular one. The song is incredible and would not work without the girls, but not from a technical viewpoint
@@SmellsVishyYes, that is true but this is definitely the most club banger track they have done in awhile. BxMxC I think being a rap track really shows how fast and technical Su-Metal can be.
Shanti Shanti Shanti takes some real skill as lip roll in Indian music is damn difficult. As my friend tried teaching me & I never could do it right. It's unfortunate that some judge on just one track.
Which is why it's important to have an open mind when dealing with Babymetal & not jumping to predetermined conclusions. I get what your saying though but ladies are used to it by now.
Speaking of Nico being a vocal beast. I was lucky enough to be at the electric callboy show in Sydney Australia late last year, and unfortunately Kevin had to rush back to Germany for a family emergency. Instead of cancelling, with less than 24 hrs notice, they did not change the set list at all, and Nico proceeded to nail ALL of the screams in every song, covering both vocal parts. It was astonishing.
Oh wow, that's just crazy! O_o
Not that surprising that they care about the fans that much (that's the vibe they give off in all of their videos), but being able to do that really takes a different level of skill.
When I first read "Collab of the year" I thought this referred to Chris and Andy. And I'm not gonna lie - this would absolutely fit the bill too!
Ah I’m glad you picked up on the double meaning :)
Every time I think Babymetal can't do one of the best genre bending collabs of all time and make a contender for best music video in decades, they pull me right back in.
This cross is like perfect, I love them so much.
I laughed my ass off. Your reaction deserves a reaction itself. You guys are great ! 🙂
I think the second "Are you ready" and "Everybody" screams part is done by Momometal... She done some screaming part for Babymetal since she joined
"Everybody" sounds like it's actually both of them on top of each other too me, not just Momometal. 🙂 The second "Are you ready is for sure Momometal only though. :D
@@RaXXha ah yeah i missed that one... After listened again.. yes both of them do it... Thank u bro
We'll get the live version soon enough with EC and Babymetal performing it in Japan and soon in Germany together :D so you get to see how it sounds without the production and layers! (I'm sure the footage will hit youtube before any official video from them will be posted)
Babymetal is THE best LIVE band on the planet
Road of Resistance LIVE at PIA Arena 2023 from the Hymnodic channel
This is so amazing that! Big thanks to Chris for making this collabs with awesome vocalists. Feels so cool listen and watch nerdy vocal reactions
sooo sick Electric callboy reacted to your video reacting to them!
YESSSSS :) !!
What a fantastic song.
What amazes me about both of these bands is their ability to perform highly “produced” music live. The ability to harmonize on both cleans and harsh vocals in order to accurately replicate all of the layering makes for such a great live experience.
i just love how you two break down the song. wish i could learn how to screem like that. this such a good song

@@chrisliepe thats awesome yall doing this. just signed up
Andy you are soooo down to earth. Bro your voice is freaking epic! Don't make urself smaller as you are. You're definetly up there with the Callboys! But I really love to witness the respect both of you are showing all of those incredible vocalists. And the duo breakdown from both of you for this song is absolutely fantastic! It's not getting better than that! This channel more and more becomes my favorite!
hah my commented got deleted cause he knows its true lol
But you guys heard that the first "everybody" growl came from Momo, not from Kevin, right 😉 (also the second "let´s go" when he is holding the cables came from Momo) ... anyway, thanks for the reaction and analysis, always nice to watch 🙃
Wow! Good spot.
Momo has great growl range.
Checking in from Fox_Fest in Japan!! Ladies are headlining yet another festival. Where they just performed this live with ElectricCallboy!! A collective oooo from the auidance. You could tell there was some huge anticipation for this building up.
The performance was nothing short of epic and at the end both hugged each other. As the entire place erupted in applause and calling their names. Agree as definitely the collaboration of the year. 🤘🙀 Babymetal has been extremely busy this year.
They just finished a performance in Vegas last month at the Sick New World Festival. Which in itself was an insane festival. SlipKnkot, Lamb Of God, System Of The Dawn among so many others. After Babymetal's eariler performance later in the night.
Bring Me The Horizon performed and about halfway through they performed Kingslayer which wasn't on the setlist. Babymetal then came on stage which was a complete shock. Kingslayer was only the second time this was performed live with BMTH & BM.
It was a f*** banger as Oli came down & both were headbanging at the end. Ladies have been insanely busy as this is their 4th collaboration in less then two years. Along with their World Tour with Dethklok last year. They are now preparing for their European tour this summer. 🤘🙀🔥
Holy crap, I love Monuments but I've never thought about just how good Andy is as a vocalist, going from normal speaking voice straight into the screams at 2:26 blew my mind XD
This was cool to see you guys break this down. This is my first time seeing your channel. Really impressed by your vocals when you were breaking down what they were doing. I’ll check out your band
The live version of that on Japan was (as far as I could tell) amazing fun. I wonder if the girls get to do a duet with EC on an EC concert - I think the hype will be even more there.
I think one of the best things about being a BABYMETAL fan for so long is the number of performers and groups they've introduced me to. I'd never heard of Electric Callboy before, but I'm totally sold.
Same here, they introduced me to bring me the horizon too haha
@@stevienixx Same. And F. Hero. And Bodyslam. And... I'm sure you get the idea. 😂
You're in for a ride! ^^
Hypa Hypa and its many reaction videos is the best way to get really into their (new) world. (They had a different singer before and their old tracks sound rather differently. Not bad, just different. 🙂)
I’m pretty sure the everybody growl is MOMOMETAL which is why the camera only shows her during both of the everybody growl’s
Best reaction I've seen for this song, incredible knowledge about all the technicalitiies, though you sadly missed Momometals repeating growl of Kevins ARE YOU READY.
My dude, the layering and production of this song is so well done it’s not shocking to miss a thing or two
Really enjoyed your analysis and conversation, some very informative insights and observations. Great reaction, thanks for posting 😎
What a cool sound and fun video featured here but what impressed me most is the electrifying chemistry between you and Andy as you discuss it. The energy and pure joy you both exude, feeding off each other as you watch and discuss this performance, is completely engaging and invigorating. Man, if this is a taste of your course, I say “Hell yeah!” I’m bursting with anticipation and excitement to get started.
Welcome back to the Foxhole.🦊🤘🔥
I don't remember following your BM journey but it's always nice to see reactors and old BM fans coming back to listen more of this amazing group.
Also cool to know one of you have been touring along with EC.
Some reactors and fans couldn't wait for the official MV release, but you did a great job 🦊🤘🐭lol
Most likely they will be playing this together at FOX_FEST Festival next weekend May 25 and 26 in Japan along with many more artists and bands such Polyphia so can't wait for the live version.
The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference.
The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus and also I think I heard in a K-pop song, not sure which one.
The "push it to the limit" line it could be an homage to Scarface's movie, another post disco, dance rock song with guitar elements.
Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that, we'll see in the live version.
Love the euro trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One.
There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture nowadays that i probably missing a lot more.
Next suggestion to enjoy another super collab they did recently:
- F.Hero x Bodyslam x BabyMetal - Leave It All Behind official MV.
Thanks for sharing your in-depth analysis and see you next time.🦊🤘🔥

Lead babymetal vocal has incredible stuff I wish Chris Liepe reacts...
Thanks for this reaction, seems I didn't see this one before, their were so many channels putting out videos about this.
But this is easily one of the best reactions/analysis.
I've seen a 'fan cam' of the live performance from earlier today and it sounds like they didn't get the mixing between all the vocals right yet, I think they'll perform it again tomorrow, so I hope they'll get it right then. Hopefully release a Bly-ray.
Oddly enough somehow the way Andy acts reminds me of Dan Kaminsky, famous computer security expert who sadly died far to early at the age of 42.
Subbed. You guys nailed it. Will be checking out this rabbit hole in the days to cone
This is the mashup we didn't know that we needed! Love your reaction!
Thanks again from Japan 有難う。 Just so you know, I am going to leave home in Tokyo with a ticket to today's Fox_Fest festival, Super Mosh Pit in my hand . I am sure that I will be an eyewitness of the live debut of this song by the two amazing bands over there.
I just watched it. I bet you had an awesome time! They sound great live
Great analysis and feedback guys! I think this is Baby Metal's best collab song
😁😁😁A perpetual smile generator. Great reaction. 🦊 🖖❤
Love the breakdown. Love how this track is bringing so much joy 🤩 🤩
Thank you both for that energetic lesson/ reaction to this amazing song.😊👍
damn I loved watching your reactions for the "how to's" (I can't sing wish I could lol) but the two of you compliments each other and what an incredible reaction :)
The "uo uo" is actually a Smart move to touch the karaoke japanese culture
Thank you from 🇯🇵
BABYMETAL's vocalist SU-METAL is one of those rare vocalists whose voice is not blurred while dancing, and whose live performances are even better than their recordings.🤘
At the legendary Sonisphere Festival in the UK, many people thought she was lip-synching until she had microphone trouble during the show.
I thought Andy's explanation would mislead both you and the audience, so I'd like to see your reaction again🌸.

Babymetal and Electric Callboy are both amazing
Thank very much for the extremely interesting insights about the singing techniques! Fantastic song by the way.
If people dont know babymetal, u must show them "road of resistance" live 🙂
You guys should do more Babymetal, they're fascinating in all the different genres they play with. 🤘🦊🤘
Man, I fucking love Electric Callboy, I love Baby Metal and honestly Monument supporting Electric Callboy in Birmingham last years was SO fucking good.
I cant believe Chris got Andrew Garfield on!
When they release the teaser of their collab, I was already stoked
And when they finally released the song, I was soooo blown away, so heavy & so fun, what a vibe
(Also, love Andy Cizek joining in the videos, love that man and signed up for the waitlist!)
I'm so glad you finally got into Babymetal, their lives will blow your mind 🥹🥹
Such a cool reaction guys! Thank you ❤️
this was such a fun reaction, and dude on the right is a sick vocalist
I need Andy cizeks course - period
Its coming soon.
I’ve been hoping that Andy would develop a vocal course ever since he released his screaming tutorials on his channel. This is really incredible and exciting stuff that could be groundbreaking for singers
Best reaction to the song, since you have so much to say about Nico and Kevin etc. - I love Andy Cizek, would love to see more reactions from / with him.
So great to see you guys react and analyse this amazing collaboration!
I've seen that you've enjoyed reacting to some performances on The First Take, like the very impressive LiSa. Babymetal have also been on there a few times! I would recommend "Monochrome", it will give you an interesting perspective on Babymetal's vocal abilities. Suzuka is a remarkable singer, I think you'd enjoy it! :)
Andy Cizek in your videos? Wow! He is one of the best modern vocalists!
Andy Cizek in CO! Dude is incredible glad to have him in my state!
i could swear that the 2nd "are you ready" scream comes from momoka (babymetal) :D
whenever I hear an Electric Callboy song, I'm in awe about the production level. You can't do anything better production-wise.
I'm glad I stumbled upon this video.
Also having Andy on a video is just Top Tier. In person on the fly demonstration just shows how crazy talented he is!
Reacts to Gabriel Henrique singing the song: I want to know what love is (Mariah Carey cover), featuring the choir Black to Black, Please!
❤❤❤
omg andy and chris!!!!
More BabyMetal 🦊🤟
Chris my friend, gotta check out Babymetal’s performance of Monochrome on the first take to see what these ladies are really capable of!
Great collaboration it's so much fun and interesting info on growling not a fan of it, but it does take talent to do it properly dont mind in small doses . BabyMetal bubble gum sound ? Think you need to hear more BabyMetal try Monochrome at PIA Arena and hear how good they are especially Su . 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Great reaction and analysis. First time watching you guys, subscribed. Wasn't sure how this collab would work when first heard about it; turned out to be great fun. BM has returned to their roots of kawaii-metal and just having fun. Matched with EC this was smiles end-to-end. 🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊 Oh and BM #notacult, though #possiblyacult 😁
Go for reacting babymetal 🦊 🤘
I think, in the entire time BABYMETAL has been a thing, this is the first video that has their creator, Koba-Metal, included. (The guy hiding behind the plant.)
We need tutorials of the dance moves for sure! 2024 Summer Anthem!!!
Yesss! As soon as this dropped I was like “man I hope Chris had seen this!” This track made me smile from start to end. A collab that needed to happen!
On top of that we get Andy hearing and perfectly mimicking the techniques on first try - cannot WAIT for the new course.
Bonus: you now get to board the Babymetal train and dig in there too!
I'd be down for Babymetal reactions :)
I love Andy! Monuments is such a great band. Thanks for sharing this breakdown.
Thanks for your explanations ❣️❗❣️
Gotta give some massive props to Pascal and Oliver (Schillobros) for always making absolute banger videos. 🙌
Momoko doing her fry screams layered over Kevins is INSANE. I've honestly never heard a better dynamic duo in my life.
The interesting thing to me is that this is by far the cleanest Su-Metal's English vocals have ever been. Have to wonder if she's done an immersion course or something.
Andy is such a chill person :D
Amazingly I’ve never heard of Callboy until this song. I’m a huge fan now.
Holy shit…. That kid fuckin…. Damn
effing vibed with tttheyir so much. top level of quality. 😵Next reaction - October Ends DAMAGED 😍
I love it. Cant wait for live performance
Yup, as been pointed out, Momometal screams too. I wish I were at the Fox Festival this weekend when it should be performed live.
Heh, the wall think kinda reminds me of Walk this way with Run DMC
so much fun 😍
Check out “Karate” by baby metal…. Perfect introduction to their style. Rob Zombie said they were the best performers at a particular festival when interviews.
It was the proof that you are really a Babymetal Fan, you always smile all along the song.
