Older Silver initially tells Blaze not to without giving a proper explanation, but later changed his mind and convinced Blaze to give Iblis to Mephiles. Mephiles takes it and claims to have enough power to take over the world. Blaze is mad at Older Silver for choosing her over the world and left to find help to stop Mephiles. Gold shown up to comfort Older Silver, and the latter then left to try to stop Mephiles himself. Other Important Notes: -There are potentially multiple Mephiles and multiple Iblis who comes from a hellish world. -Older Silver has encountered a Mephiles before, but may not be the same one that we see in this stream. -Older Silver last saw his timeline's Blaze 30 years into the future, who was somehow aware of this past event and even told Older Silver to not let this happen. -The Iblis in Blaze grew far more stronger then it did when Sonic or Elise had it, meaning Blaze can potentially fuel multiple Iblis and make them stronger as well.

I know a lot of people are angry at silver for what he did but if he didn't have blaze go through with the deal it wouldnt have changed the iblis future. It was established that when someone dies with an iblis it just jumps to another person and if it got super strong it may not even jump to another person it might just burn everything right after blaze died from the iblis. The only difference now is that mephiles has it in his control.All silver did was speed up the inevitable
