- Here is the latest from Lumintop with their E21C flashlight. This has the best of both worlds of flood and throw, all in one light. This can run on 18650, 20700 or 21700 cells. UI is simple and changeable. This side light provides a wide flood beam performance and the Luminus SST-40 provides nice throwing distance. This can be used as a power bank but you will need a cable with Type C at one end the type to charge your device at the other end. This construction build quality is sold and feels rugged as well. The diffuser for the main LED is great for table top lamp applications. The magnetic tail cap is great for hands free placement on metal surfaces for light anywhere you may need it most. Love Lumintop - esp. their compact/pocket carry lights. Great performers & value for money. I really love the fact that they include a diffuser!! Very useful accessory and saves having to buy it extra - silicone design is also excellent and easy to carry. Thanks for another great vid.

Thanks for making the review Charles, great video. How does it compare in physical size to an olight warrior 2 mini? Do you think they would both fit in the same holster/sheath for instance.

Hello Charles Bridgtec, I have a question as to what would be the best route to perhaps sell a few of my flashlights I have acquired recently. I have a few that are basically in new condition, only turned on once on the wall. As these 18650, 21700, and 26650 lights seem to be more specialty lights that most people don't quite understand it seems that they are not easy to explain or draw interest for most people other then who understands these type of lights. Any advice you can give would be much appreciated. I do not like for them to just be sitting idle, would like to see them be useful to a potential new owner, thank you and good day.

@@CharlesBridgTec Thank you for your reply. I feel light fulfilled at the moment, these few light I have are just sitting, not seeing any use. Like to see them passed to being used by a new owner. Maybe if a new light comes along that interests me, might purchase the light, exactly the reason I watch all your reviews😃. Hi Charles, how long did the turbo last in your test on both front and side before stepping down?

as a orginal manufacture of led light,mutifuction light is my field.I would like to share my perspective with you and other audiences
1 light of switch :breath blue light may be better,the same as Wuben flashlight which will help to extend running time,at least 1.5 times.
2 color temperature of side light:i supposed that 3000K to 5000K is better.3000K is warm yellow light and 5000K is natural light,it will help the eye protection(refer to desk lamp)
3 output:E21C is the product for camping and exploring，maybe add output of usb port is good option,5000mah 21700 cells,will help to charge 1.5 pcs smart phone.
4 diffuser:the Luminous will last 3-5 seconds。maybe not help you in the emgency .only help you with remind the location of product in the darkness.

Does anyone know how to get the battery to charge via the built-in charger? Every USB charger I plug my E21C into doesn't seem to work charging the battery. The switch stays blue while plugged in and when I perform a voltage check, the switch always blinks pink.

@@CharlesBridgTec I'm using the USB to USB-C cable that came with the flashlight and wall chargers that are rated for 5V/2A. I've tried unprotected and protected 18650 and 21700 batteries. Thanks for replying!
I may have found the problem. I found a small copper shaving inside the USB-C port. It was still hanging off the milled opening for the USB-C port. I think that may have shorted some circuitry related to battery charging.
Ok, contact them for warranty exchange.
I think it's only reverse charging like a powerbank function?
do they fixed the battery drain problem? edc05c will drain out battery in a few days

@@CharlesBridgTec How do you turn off the blue light on the power switch? On mine, the blue light is always on whenever a battery is inserted. It also doesn't indicate charging status while plugged in. Always blue, all the time!
@@smitty8310 any non mechanical switch will have parasitic drain simply from contacting the battery. I'd imagine the glow light adds to this.

I really want to pick this model up but the only thing stopping me is the lack of a pocket clip

Just went ahead inspite of my better judgement and bought it anyways along with a Sony VTC6 21700 cell and its quite the utilitarian powerhouse.
Only gripes I have are A) the lack of pocket clip (which I'm planing a diy workaround) and B) it's sperate modes are too difficult to get to. It could have really benefited from 4 or 5 steps of brightness per button press instead of the 3 levels we got because in all honesty, the stock mode (1600 lumin) is too bright for regular indoor use so it feels like you are switching between indoor mode set of lumins and an outdoor mode set of lumins.
Other than that I agree with the rest of the review
