The good old ladder stitch. I'd add some sort of backing fabric on the inside to anchor the stitches, otherwise, you're relying on the strength of cloth that is already frayed and weak.
Thank you for the close-up camera work. My jeans are now fixed. I recommend keeping the segments on 1) how you tied you starting knot, 2) where you land you first stitch, and 3) how/where you tied your finishing knot.
@MadeByApril Thank you!! I just fixed my best jeans by following this video! I used kite string and a small tapestry needle (lol!) and it worked like a charm! Very strong! Thank you very much! 😮😊❤
Omg you are the best lol. I couldn’t find anyone to sew my jeans locally. And I’m horrible at sewing, but this looks easy! So I’ll will give it a go! Thank you so much for sharing!
I don’t know if I need a special type of thread, but I just did this to two of my husbands jeans and as soon as he sat down, they had ripped again in the spot I just sewed up 😢
i did this ladder stitch on my pants but after i washed them the stitches fell through. Any advice? Cause personally i would add an iron patch from the inside out then stitch it so it doesnt move. Then create a small patch for the pants and stitch it on covering the hole from the inside out. But itll look like a patch is there instead of just making it invisible of course.
@@jackfranklin2027 Nope, I really meant that the English in this is garbage and I can find better videos in my language on here so I'm not sticking around to subscribe to someone who didn't proofread.

Ohh..some threads are not solid at all like those threads that are found in any stores ! I'm personally using Gütermann Threads...
You might have to use some Fray Check or fabric glue, or an iron-on patch on the inside to give more stability to the fabric.
Just tried this and it's amazing. Thanks!

Hey hey 👋
Hello ... :D
Why does this happen so often to my pants? So annoying 😵💫
I have the same problem since I started using skinny Stretch jeans.
The rip is is all the way down.
This would be extremely helpful if you’d explain what you are doing.
KICK ASS ty

I think you should proofread your videos if you're going to put English text on them.
I think you meant: thanks for making this available in my language.
