@TIRADORACING I can relate. I'm trying to get this project moving, but it's been slower than I wanted. I'm hopefully to throw a nice cam and a loud exhaust on this one.
@@TIRADORACING They were built on the short wheel base truck frame, they called the rc's, blazers, broncos some new term, but not suv's. That is the point I was trying to make, hell some rc options didn't include the back seat. One piece of advice, you can cheaply upgrade the master brake cylinder and brake booster to a 3/4 ton dodge size. Everything bolts up and you have some better stopping power.
That’s crazy I just read up on the brake booster last night! I will probably do that once I get it running good. Still need to set my initial timing and total timing.
Buy some rustmort for body rust it works awesome. Any thing under or sun doesn't hit it. Use por15 also works great. You'll stop and kill all rust.💯✌️👍🫡
Not bad prefer the 70's models because they have the removable tops. I would recommend led spot lights front and rear and not mounted below the bumper hitting the trails is likely to destroy that back light. I had a 1978 for about 10 years that had a 440.
This thing is sick man
Thank you! Lots of progress has been made recently!
Going to follow this build. I just bought an 89 and put a 4"lift and some 35s on it.
Nice! Love that people are saving them!
@@TIRADORACING We are a rare breed saving these gems.
Yes we are. I want to find a Trailduster but that will have to wait till this one is complete.

I call them trucks😊 Good looking rc man.
Thank you! I’ve been steady working on it trying to at least get it ready for the fall.

Great point on the spotlight! This is the last year of the removable top! 😁
what brand is the brushguard on your RC
it came with the truck, from what I’ve researched it’s oem. Fits the contours of the front bumper perfectly.
Wow perfect stance! The non bird bath hood looks killer with the quad lights. Sounds good too.
Thank you! We have a birdbath hood and swapped it on and off MULTIPLE times before ultimately deciding to keep the stock hood!
It's difficult to find any trailer a ram charger fits on. Iv never ran across one that would correctly. 🫡👍✌️
Hahah that’s funny! I plan on driving it to all the destinations here soon so hopefully no more trailers!
