What proposal for 2WTC did you like best. What do you think of the current proposal by Foster and Partners?

How do you put the buildings in and make the movement of he render
@@MitchellBPYao I model everything in 3dsmax then import them into Unreal Engine. Then I animate the cameras in Sequencer.

For me, the 2006, 2 WTC design is still my favorite, but honestly, at this point I just want something, any skyscraper built on the site to fill the spot, its been way too long in my opinion, 2 WTC should've been completed years ago. So to be honest, id be satisfied if any of these current designs or future ones, get built as long as its "2 WTC" in naming.
i mean no disrespect to the victims of 9/11 but i think twining of WTC One should happen at this point for modern Twin Towers that wouldnt look exactly like their formers.
I want anyone expect another twin and BIG proposal, the diamond i think the best then the 2021 leaked

@@lewisgarrison860 Bro have they ever said why they won't build a twin Freedom Tower for 2 World Trade Center?? All those proposals look horrible compared to the original Twin Towers and The Freedom Tower.

The Freedom Tower is fine but nothing compared to the Originals. At this rate they should just bite the bullet and build a twin of Freedom Tower without the antenna. Tower 1 has been rebuilt for going on a decade now and they still don't have a design for Tower 2
what they really should have done was built twins of Foster's 2006 diamond-topped design. i like 1WTC, but the original design for 2WTC is incredible
The 2006 Foster design will always be my favorite, but his 2021 & 2022 designs are also beautiful. Honestly anything but the Ingels design.
i loved 2021's design i feel it realy honors the two towers that fell before it.

The Diamond shape is the best especially the tip....imagine how the light will refract and glow during a cold foggy night
Great job! Foster's original diamond was my favorite. But the new Foster 2022 looks very nice too. To me, the new design gives the WTC site height like the original twins had.

Nothing like the original diamonds that were the best. Luckily that Bjark Ingels garbage is canned. That thing was hideous!

I personally think that the Foster design is the overall best for the site, and it would complement the Skyline very well. It's definitely the most uniquely pleasing of them for me

First design was definitely the best, though I will say the newest design is a huge improvement over the 2015 one.

I’d love if they somehow fused the 2022 design with the 2006 design. Having the height and greenery of 2022, but featuring the diamond element that’d shine down onto the footprints
Lord Norman Foster is really competent, both the 2006 and 2022 designs showcase raw architectural talent😎
I like the diamond rooftop design but for me, the building is too short overall. 2021 design is my favorite but I would also settle for the 2022 design because of its height.
it's not much bigger than the 2021 version and it doesn't have WTC DNA, it doesn't fit, the 2021 version was ok, maybe higher, yes.
2022 design is my favorite, but I still love the 2006 diamond design. Wouldn't mind either one.
It'll be difficult to beat the 2006 design. It looks stunning.

@@KLTRF yeah I agree, they really should stick with the 2006 design if 2 WTC is even going to happen. I’m starting to think it’s just a figment of our imagination at this point.
The Diamond tower proposal is absolutely stunning! I didn’t like the staircase design at all I’m really glad they didn’t build that monstrosity it would’ve been hideous to see that 🤢
They need to go with the diamond design since they already have the original foundation built for that concept, it’s just a matter of getting a tenant that is willing to sign on the dotted line but it doesn’t appear that’s going to happen anytime soon
As you said, it's a matter of getting a tenant. This is the exact reason why the design keeps changing and the diamond design wont get built. Now that we're post Covid, new buildings need to include tons of amenities including lots of outdoor space to get workers back into the office. The most current design is reflecting that. The older designs would never attract tenants post Covid.
@@lewisgarrison860 it’s unfortunate that the original design won’t happen, I wish there was a way to still have the diamond look with outdoor space as well, anything but the staircase idea will be alright with me I still can’t believe they even thought about putting such an atrocious building like that there 😂
The diamond design isn’t happening because they compared it too much with PinnacleBank
@@lewisgarrison860 like i said Tower Two needs an outdoor observation Deck and WIndows on the world (doesnt have to be exactly matching/twinning but its like they want to forget that part of history)
The 2006 Foster design and the 2022 Foster designs are quite nice.
I really hope they go for the diamond design. It fits in with the crystal-like design they were going for with 1WTC
I like the 2006 design better compared to the other ones.
2005 2 WTC all the way
I like the design they've arrived at. That might be my favorite one so far. I like that it's got two mini-steps instead of the whole thing being one gigantic staircase. I like the view from the bay where you see small sections of air and small sections of green. I like that it appears to be the same height(?) as 1WTC. As a pair of towers, I would be satisfied with this pairing from an architectural standpoint.

Absolutely not. The One WTC needs to be the tallest roof height of all the buildings in the complex. It’s only fair

The original design was designed with the crown to ensure a shadow would never be cast on the site of the original buildings on 9/11. Where did that respectful approach go?
It got nixed years ago. Who knows if this is even the final design that will get built.
it got nixed because of looking too much like a banker's tower (Blame Pinnacle).

I prefer the original diamond slant roof design. None of the others seem to blend in well with the surrounding buildings.

To be honest, I like any proposal for 2WTC. Whether it’s supposed to compliment the rest of the towers or be iconic, I just wanted something to fill in the site.
i would love to see an Identical tower to One World Trade on 2 World Trade's spot to restore the skyline and be a great compromise

There is it’ll just need retrofitted aka the footprint to be widened and changed a bit and there’s be room
Just build a second freedom tower without the antenna, that’s what they should’ve done from the beginning..
No cus that would defeat the purpose and take away the dumb concept of a 2in1 tower !
Maybe just build a Rectangle like the Originals but Dumb Glass but better and safer built?
OR just Dismantle all the Dumb new Towers all together and built Modern Twin Towers safer etc. but have them Diagonal from the Memorial Pools !
Foster's 2006 design was the most beautiful of all the buildings on the site. they should've built two of those instead of 1WTC. its a real shame that it will never be realized
First design (slanted diamond top) is the best looking one! But the latest design is not bad. Thank god they scrapped that hideous BIG blocks version!

The 2015 one looks unsafe. The 2021 & 2022 designs are pretty. The 2006 is definitely the most different and honestly my favorite
I actually would like the second tower to be the taller of the two, name it the freedom tower officially, and since one world trade is 1776 feet tall, the new tower should be 2001 feet tall. Commemorating the year of the attacks. I think it should be a twin but taller, but I would be ok with another design as long as it is bold and has some vision. Of the proposed designs, the only one I like is the diamonds design. If they build that stepped monstrosity, I will be actually angry, but the other two are meh. I would be disappointed but not upset. The steps are just awful…
i kind of want Two to have some Old amenities like Windows On The World and The rooftop observation Deck something stunning not generic. unfortunately They keep giving off Generic lately

The best one BY FAR is the 2021 edition. The came up with a nice design, and then they messed up everthing again in 2022

The American People wants to see another building and we're not concerned about what can or cannot be seen just as long as the skyline is completed ! It's all about what people can see from the outside that attracts us to come DownTown throughout the Year especially if you have little kids !
Yes but if the building doesn't make money for the person paying for its construction then its difficult for it to happen quickly.

Why build Stair Stepped looking buildings and if they proceed to do so then most likely they don't have to worry about making any money at all !
I can Vision future commercials with someone advertising their business talking about we're easy to find; we're located at the staircase step building in Downtown New York !
Maybe not in our lifetime, but our children might still live to see 2WTC start construction. Hope they convert it to residential since nobody needs office space anymore.
You should do this with 5 World Trade Center since it has 4 designs

Just build a twin to the existing tower. That’s what we all want anyway.
Sorry, the street layout doesn't agree with that. You'll either have to tear out the Oculus, which also mean redoing the local metro lines, or the New York Evening Post Office, which is a historic landmark. It simply won't fit. You'll also have to redo the foundation.
The 2021 leaked version is not bad , it even has the highlighted Sky lobbys.

I love the Diamond design the most. The 2015 version looks really tacky while the 2022 one looks like a more complicated version of the Sears Tower, almost looks like they’re trying to implement 15 buildings into one. Granted Sears Tower basically does 9 in 1 but they can get away with it because it’s in good proportions.
The 2006 idea is cool but their problem is that they want more floor space. The 2022 new design I would say is their best idea and fit perfectly with the surrounding area with the trees around ground zero. One world trade center is the main masterpiece, and I think this does complete the set. My stamp of approval!

Just make a Twin to Tower 1 and call it a day. They have the lessons from Tower 1 and about a decade of improved construction methods to cut down the build time.
I liked all the designs except for 2015 - a tower of misaligned boxes.
I do not want it to be the exact same as the one wtc. The lower Manhattan skyline needs new design not old nostalgia. I understand a lot of you want it to be like the old times. But a city needs change. personally I like the 2005 Foster and partners design, it gives reflection down to the pools as a memory but it also singnals. Change and strength. It gives flavor to the World Trade Center complex. It makes oneWTC less iconic as it is and it in my opinion would make more sense to build something new that can represent the skyline for the future.

Yeah, many people would like that, and I think it would be pretty nice. Unfortunately, the way the street layout is out, and the surrounding areas are built up, it would be an economic headache to do so, more than it already is.

Just build the exact same freedom tower that WTC 1 looks like but without an antennae. Remake the goddamn twins!!!!

I have an idea. Tear down One World Trade Center and replace it with a replica North Tower, and start construction on an identical tower next to it and call it World Trade Center 2.

How about just rebuilding the original 2 wtc with the safety improvements like a reinforced core and double reinforced exterior columns.

the newer 2 WTC designs do not match the architectural style of the other WTC buildings anymore.

As a Twin of 1WTC will never happen (shame!) the 2015 design looked best with it's leaning towards One World Trade Center. That would have established a connection between the two. Second best is the current design. Looks like a modern Sears Tower.

A "2 WTC" should never be built. 1 WTC is currently showcased in much the same way as the ESB. Nothing should be allowed to diminish the sightlines to either tower.
the original design and the 2021 leaked design are the nicest. I think the 2015 redesign is actually offensive its so ugly.
What I want to know is when will a Building 6 be made?

The foundations and first floor of the 2006 design was started but went on hold. With the design changes it has yet to commence construction. Currently the site is surrounded with shipping containers decorated with street art.

The 2022 "Current Design" is what's currently planned for the site. All previous proposals are canceled.

The Foster 2006 and 2021 design looks like a traditional and gorgeous building. The rest look like some freshly graduated and unproven Architect with a minor in Art got into Architecture and had an idea for a completely hideous design.

I'd love to see a video where the NYSE Tower proposed by Donald Trump and One World Trade Center swap places. I think that'd be a pretty interesting change and especially such a massive obelisk like the NYSE Tower would've been would look staggering next to the pyramids of the World Financial Center.

No different site. They started construction on the first proposal. Then it went on hold with just the foundation finished. Right now the site is boarded up with street art decorations. You can see it in google street view
I liked the first. The second was not as good but ok. The third and fourth are obominations that don't match the otjer buildings. I'd rather see a parking lot there rather than the last two
