I dont get how he can press all those buttons at once, for me I find circle and square 2 close. Is there another button I could potentially use for air roll right instead to make it a little easier?
Just use Squishy's binds with the only difference of binding boost to R1/RB. This way you can easily hold square/X in the air with your thumb, because you barely need jump/ ball cam in the air and you press boost with your index. Maybe a little confusing but I hope this helps :)

Hey something that really helped me out with basic aerialing when I was a beginner is to change the binding for boost to R1, for me it's really comfortable Because having to press like 3 buttons at the same time to boost jump and air roll is much more comfortable if boost is higher up.
I tried, but i hold the controller like a grandpa and use only 1 finger to R1+R2, so it was a disaster. Switching between gas and boost doesnt work, so i would ha to learn to use a second finger that I never used in any games which makes it super hard :D

Just applied this for about 15 minutes and since I kind of been doing this subliminally I just tweaked a couple things and all mechanics have just improved so much squishy the goat 🐐 ❤️
Tell me why I’ve been waiting for this exact video to come out from you. It’s finally here. I can finally be at peace.
5:03 My eyes see the same thing 4 times in a row.....
bro this is a game changer. i’m champ 1-2 rn and i’ve been doing air dribbles with both. now you saying just using directional and not using reg air roll at all makes so much more sense now it’s so much easier to air dribble
“Just get a feel for it”
...
hits a double tap😂
It took me 2 months to fully learn but it’s worth it 100%, I say u guys go for it
Day 2....I almost did a “squishy “ airdribble 😆
When you have to turn right or left do u wait till car faces that direction and let go of air roll then boost lnd air roll once your car faces that direction, or do u just hold air roll the whole time?
Plzz help
thanks squishy most tutorials Just say go in freeplay and figure it out yourself but you took the time to actually Explain the different ways or air roll and explaining It and making it so much easier
To anyone finding it very hard to use any of the air rolls trust me on this you’ll get it eventually don’t give up it took me a long time but one day it just clicked and I was very consistent in using it and today I use it more than my normal air roll.
Exactly the same brother it’s such a nice feeling when u can finally control it
@@replaytt8925 what controls do you use?
@@limanenteemu4042 air roll/power slide -L1 and air roll left R1
Felt like a plat trying to learn it lol. Ive had air roll right bound for a long time just to mess around with stalls but didnt ever try switching. One day i just said screw it im switching it has to be better. I think i fell down like 200 mmr bc I couldn’t hit anything. The movements didnt make sense and the spins felt off but one day the movements made a little bit of sense and in 24 hours i had figured it out. Now I’m at an all time high and I’ve never been more consistent in the air :)

What's crazy is this is the video that helped me progress. Just explaining what directions do what, while holding air roll.
This is what I've been waiting for
I didn’t even realize this was squishy until the outro😂
This made my life 1mil times easier. Did not realize you could bind air roll directions to a single button. BEYOND HAPPY right now!

This is literally more helpful and more informative than any other UA-camr who makes an ariel control video.
and yet i still dont understand it
Thanks for this. Never seen anyone talk about specific uses of the different directions. That's super helpful.
I didnt even know airroll left and right existed xd

I started using air roll 3-4 months ago and boy is it a game changer. It was a little tough to incorporate into my game play since I've been playing RL for 2 years straight without using air roll.
Same lmaoo
@@roughryder5 how bruh
@@vtsv27 he must have been in bronze 😂
Squishy Do you use claw, or how to do press square, x and o at the same time?
i was thinking the same thing
Squishy uses a special technique called “fat fingers”. He just rolls his thumb over the 4 buttons, pressing what he wants whenever he wants. I do this as well.
Either "fat fingers" or he's using paddles
I think he plays claw
Squishy i’m glad you made this video, i’ve been using air roll right for quite awhile now since back when tornado spins was more popular. But i never really understood the use of the different directional inputs. Thanks!
squishy, can you show us how u hold ur controller, i just changed all my binds to urs and its kind of hard, can u show me how u hold ur controller
He either uses claw or he has a big thumb lol
@@jdhr7767 he fat Fingers i think
Yh it’s impossible to push square and circle in same time

Thank you for this guide! I’m looking to refine my wall-to-air dribbles and I now have a solid plan to work on them. Awesome guide!
look for The Losfeld Method of Directional Air-Roll it will open your eyes
He's so good at explaining it feels like I could actually do this but I know for a fact that I can't 😂
There was an add right when you said "here's an example of that"
bruh.. i seen like 6 videos on air roll
and they didn't explain each air roll in such way
great tutorial!
Thanks Squishy!!
That first touch from the wall...just WOW! 😳 Anyone who knows if there's some tip on how to get it? Ofc I'm missing smthng like 10k hours on this game, but there always seems to be some useful little tips on everything that makes them easier in this game! ☺️
tap jump as soon as you touch ball, your angle towards the goal, and the height at which you hit it is also really important and takes practice
Yay finally a tutorial with air roll right, everybody uses left.
AR right gang
this! I never really checked out his settings and at the beginning of the video when he said he was using air roll right for this I felt so happy
I’d recommend using both
R1/RB for air roll right
L1/LB for air roll left

I’m confused on how you are holding boost and air roll on square at the same time?
He probably plays claw
R1/Right Bumper is a good button to use too
I do it too, I press the three buttons with my thumb
How do you air roll right with square and then boost with circle at the same time ?
he might use claw grip
thumb inbetweeb x and triangle
Bind boost to R1
scuf controller prolly
Love the communication my guy. This made soooo much sense.
Best way to learn air-roll is to watch The Losfeld Method of Directional Air-Roll
@@berndderhenker5546 Nah I'll definitely give it a go sounds good, appreciate it
I have ARR on R1
This is a much appreciated vid, thank ya squish :)
As to what kind of videos, I know that I would love to see more videos like this, explaining different mechanics - it’s always something I’m curious about and don’t always see a ton of talk about!
Things I learned from this video.
Always use your stick
Don't jump at ball without holding your stick
This guy air rolls through the ring map faster than I do it normally
Ok. Thank you Squishy. I have 2,5k hours in the game and hit C3 every once in a while. I knew there were options to use the binded air roll, but I always got confused to what the utility really is. Seeing evample going through lethamyrs map is amazing. But I never got the hang of how to use it properly in the stadium. Thank you a lot for actually showing how to use it. This tutorial just blew my mind, cause no one ever told me the importance or significance of that mechanic although I always see it in the game and cannot copy it :D and now I wished someone told me about it earlier. I finally have something to work on (again)..
Ok but let’s be real now how many people can hold down “O, X, and square... while messing with left stick while holding down right trigger while occasionally switching from ball cam to car cam....
squishy doesnt use ballcam bc he fat fingers the whole controller
I use R1 boost instead of circle so I only need to press X and square at any given time
@@taylorj2868 I have air roll left bound to my left stick click (L3) so all my car control I done through one stick
Lol i can its not hard
@@ipodman371 dont do that lmao. its impossible to be precise with the stick if you're holding it pressed (L3). just dont do that man.
3:28 that’s what he said
Squishy at the end of the video, at the ring course. Why are you holding down your 'X' button mid air?
Bro I’ve been using regular air roll the whole time thinking think that’s what people meant when they said air roll right or left jesussss
Edit: I have like 1k hours lmao

Same, I started using directional air roll at 1700 hours... Now I have 2000 and finally dominate air roll left
Squishy does it...
Me: seems easy enough...
Also me: bots everything he tries to teach me
Hey something that really helped me out with basic aerialing when I was a beginner is to change the binding for boost to R1, for me it's really comfortable Because having to press like 3 buttons at the same time to boost jump and air roll is much more comfortable if boost is higher up.
I tried, but i hold the controller like a grandpa and use only 1 finger to R1+R2, so it was a disaster. Switching between gas and boost doesnt work, so i would ha to learn to use a second finger that I never used in any games which makes it super hard :D
@@91Nande haha, if you can get used to having your index on R1 at all times and middle finger on R2 you'll be sorted! But if not circle works fine!
