This year feels a little different and not because we have a QB in Ward but just the team as a whole feels different and lose or win I'm always going to root for the hurricanes but I do know the atmosphere is going to be crazy in the swamp and may the best team win but regardless it's going to be a good showdown

I like Graham Mertz and some of Florida's offensive weapons but there is just no way they can keep up with guys like Ward, Martinez, and Restrepo. Either way, there is going to be some offense
Surprised that no one brings up the 1971 Gator Flop. What started the rivalry. When UF all laid down so Miami would score and John Reeves could get the ball back and was able to get the 10+ yards he needed to beat Jim Plunkett's all time NCAA career passing record. Then when we got good the Gators dropped our rivalry, cause they got continually spanked. Payback time. It was done at the OB, in our house, so time to flip the flop.

Ha ha. I was at the noon game at home in 2013. Sweat out all the cocktails by halftime. We played @ USF same season, same time also. Playing noon games in Florida in September is brutal!

Florida Gators fan here hate to say it but I think my Gators is gonna suck again. With no consistent improvement from my gators last season and with a brutal schedule my Gators got this season, I think my Gators are in trouble.

Florida is gonna absolutely, POSITIVELY, STOMP… absolutely, positively, nobody this year. But it’s game one of the season, with the turds having home field advantage, and the candy-canes breaking in a ton of new pieces (C, QB, RB1, WR3, DT, DB, and Safety).
So, this is probably gonna be a nervy game for both squads. Miami probably has more talent on paper and florida has more continuity… tough one to call this early, but I’m giving the nod to florida right now because chemistry can outperform talent early in the year and the swamp is a tough place to open a season; although that could easily change when news starts coming out of fall-camp.

They always give you the north end zone mostly. The gators are thinking this is a easy win (compared to what they have coming at them this year). Tickets will be hard to come by.
