Im Jahre 2019 begeht der Musikverlag RUNDEL ein ‚kleines‘ Jubiläum: Seit nunmehr 55 Jahren dürfen wir Sie, unsere Kunden, bei der Gestaltung Ihres Repertoires mit Werken aus allen Bereichen der Blasmusik unterstützen. Im Wandel der Zeiten hat es dabei eine stetige, lebendige Entwicklung gegeben, die mit dem heutigen Tag nicht endet und auch in Zukunft wertvolle Traditionen nicht aus dem Auge verlieren wird.
Sinnbild dafür ist die vorliegende Polka „Ehrenwert“, die Martin Scharnagl aus An-lass des Jahrestages komponiert hat: Scharnagl - einer unserer jüngeren Autoren - hat mit seinen Werken schon für viel frischen Wind in unserem Verlagsprogramm gesorgt, dies aber stets auf dem Boden der Tradition unseres Verlagshauses. Seine neue konzertante Polka verbindet meisterhaft Elemente der traditionellen Blasmusik mit Einflüssen aus Sinfonik und Pop - ganz im Sinne unserer Philosophie, dass Visi-on und Bewahrung einander nicht ausschließen. Das finden wir vor dem Hintergrund des Jubiläums wahrhaft „aller Ehren wert“!

In 2019, Musikverlag RUNDEL is celebrating a 'small' anniversary: For 55 years now, we have been able to support you, our customers, in the creation of your repertoire with works from all areas of brass music. Over the course of time, there has been a constant, lively development that does not end today and will not lose sight of valuable traditions in the future.
The present polka "Ehrenwert", composed by Martin Scharnagl on the occasion of the anniversary, is a symbol of this: Scharnagl - one of our younger authors - has already brought a breath of fresh air to our publishing programme with his works, but always in keeping with the traditions of our publishing house. His new concertante polka masterfully combines elements of traditional brass band music with influences from symphonic and pop music - in keeping with our philosophy that vision and preservation are not mutually exclusive. Against the backdrop of the anniversary, we find this truly "worthy of all honour"!
