I think it looks great as is without a tree. Loved seeing it all come together.

Three people so far agree! Thanks for the comment. I worry that the video gets boring when it is just me sewing for awhile. I've gotten to the part where I can't wait to have it finished! Best, Beth

I think I agree with everyone else, there's so much going on in it, I think the tree would take all the quilting detail away which is too beautiful. I can't wait to see the finished product.

I came across your videos this past week. I'm thrilled that I found someone that took this concept of art quilting steps further than my own personal experiments. You are a catalyst for me. Please don't stop teaching what you are doing. After years of landscape painting, I knew that acrylics stain out my paint rags in interesting colors. I have been playing with acrylic and alcohol inks rather than heat set textile inks. ~Looking forward to learning more from you~

I'm working on my first landscape art quilt and have just found your videos today. Impressive artistry! I appreciate your explanations of your thought process and design decisions. That's very helpful to me. I do wish there weren't large obstructions frequently covering your work on the video. Best to you!

Thank you so much! What a beautiful process! I knew I wanted to learn how to do something like this, but had no idea how to begin. You've given me a lot of inspiration and seeing it in actual application has opened a completely new area of the brain for me! I am so pumped to start on a project like this as soon as possible! Thank you again! Blessings to you!

This is great! So glad to hear it! I have tried to build skills and philosophy through the video series and projects. This video link is the heart of raw-edge applique the way I do it. Please check it and others out if you haven't already: ua-cam.com/video/uu-ZFCLccYY/v-deo.html

Hi, just found out you are near Helena, I'm in Missoula! I love it here and think that Montana is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
I'm so inspired to create quilts that show the beauty of this place, that's why I think your ideas are perfect for capturing the beauty of the mountains and landscapes.
Your creative ideas are so inspiring!

Yes, Montana is gorgeous, although the recent quakes have been no fun. Have a great time quilting landscapes. It is so fun! And thanks!

Thank you. I like them a lot, too. Even the back mountains are growing on my by association. I appreciate your comment.

I think it's great like it is. when u cut the mid ground out exposing the underneath fabric. IT MADE THE WHOLE LANDSCAPE. it's fabulous. but you know best. there is alot of interest in it. the shimmer paint strategically placed is visually very appealing.
