The first diamond pickax was upgraded to netherite and broke during clearing in the nether to build the skelly farm and the ‘I Survived The World Ender’ potato was from when you defeated a butter boy baby zombie with a sword and that’s what it dropped.
I think Hardcore has become a bit of a gimmick in the UA-cam space. My guess would be not much of your audience is watching for the Hardcore gameplay at this point. I know I watch because this world is incredible, there is so much going on and every episode the world just becomes more special. It's always up to you, but either way I don't think much of your viewership is coming for the 'Hardcore' part of this series. But I could be completely wrong. Side note: My dream series would be you and BDubs, creating a world together. (not in hardcore)
I watch fWhip’s content because of his building, and recording style. The hardcore feature is just a bonus. If he was to tragically die, and converted this world to a survival series, I would still watch it because of the content. Great comment @BenHannaNZ
I know you said don't agree with it, but a giant dead world tree in the desert would be so cool, doesn't have to be the full thing, could just be a giant stump
i know it was a joke but more 'world trees' would be such a cool idea. maybe kinda like elden ring, where theres lots of smaller or teeny tiny sprouts of trees scattered around the world as offshoots of the main original tree. would be cool to see the world tree being more of an impact around the world - maybe you could have little villages with a smaller world tree sprout at the centre, so its like people have found this sprout and set up a new home thriving off it like the original. would be cool
hi fwip! i don't know if you know the youtuber rekrap2, but in a recent Q+A video on his second channel, he mentioned that collaborating with you would be interesting. i thought it might be fun considering your different cont styles! would you ever consider collaborating with him?
You should definitely build that castle, it looks sick and i remember when you built it. it's so cool and compact. fits the style you have for the city and you can just change some of the roofs with copper and change some of the palets.
Build a "ruins" version of your old castle in your new world. As if it's from thousands of years ago or something and has been destroyed by time. Connects your old worlds into your new ones.
On the hardcore vs. survival debate I fall firmly on the survival side. I enjoy your building and late game designs, not the “surviving” aspect and if you were to die and end the series I would probably not watch a new series until you were comfortably late game again. I totally understand this isn’t in line with modern UA-cam trends and styles but for me you’ve always been a very different experience and that’s what I watch your main channel and second channel for; the differences that make you interesting and to me at least, hardcore is very much secondary or even tertiary. Keep up the great work on the builds!
One of the ideas I had about original tools and such, is a museum in your city. You could display them using the armor stand datapack or item frames. Maybe you don't have everything anymore, but also... it could provide another place in your city to store some of these odds and ends and trophies! Love the world, keep up the epic work!
If you do "start over" in your hardcore world, I think the restrictions you place on yourself should go like this: 1. You get to keep your armor and whatever you want that can fit into one shulker box. 2. Empty your ender chest before you head out. 3. Your new build site must be at least 1000 blocks from any current build (or whatever feels right). 4. You can only return after you build a "world-shaping structure" of some kind, and then build a trade route that connects all the way back to your old builds in some way. A trade route can include roads, bridges, seaports, tunnels, etc. And a world-shaping structure can be anything with world-tree-like significance. Could be another tree, a giant skeleton, your star trader villager's crashed mothership, or anything else you dream up.
In the past you have mentioned the idea of the world tree's roots expanding down into the nether from under its position in the surface world. Is that still on the list as a future fWhip project (possibly with roots winding through the dwarven district on the way down)?
Fhwip i think this world should be turned into a lets play not hardcore as with many other people that have lost their worlds due to glitches and corruption i would hate to see this world end
I understand the desire to add new challenges to the world but I really wouldn't want to see the world end because of it. This world is so built up it's absolutely insane and it's the primary reason I watch all of the hardcore videos. The hardcore aspect itself isn't even that interesting to me as I don't play minecraft anymore myself. I just tune in to see the world continue to get more developed all around. It's really cool seeing the home base region getting completely built up over time and I can't wait to see how you incorporate more buildings leading up to the base of the tree.
At 16:25 you can see his Wheat addiction in full bloom. I didn't realize I wasn't subscribed... see, there's a reason for those reminders. Thanks sign at the end. It did its job.
Do you plan on putting villagers into the city? I know they’re finicky, but villagers traveling here and there really adds a lot of movement and life into a build. The best example of this I’ve seen is Cubfan135’s Season 6 Hermitcraft base. He had several shops where specific villagers would work, and they would all go to the hotel to sleep at night.
Hey Fwhip, how do you design your trees? I’m a bedrock player and I can’t use the mods you use like Lightmatica, so I build everything by hand. You have inspired my 1800 day world, and I love your vids and streams!
The castle from S2 hardcore world is great and I think it would be cool to recreate it in the current hardcore world. I would also love to see some work done to the snow capped mountains in the current hardcore world. I think the snowcapped mountains really add a beautiful backdrop to the city and a path going through the mountains could be an interesting addition and way to incorporate a small town on the other side of the snowcapped peaks.
adding on to the survival/hardcore stuff, you spectate the world once you die, then switch it to survival after quitting in spectator, you can build a monument to n day's hardcore achieved
I am 100% for you reprising the season 2 castle and statue. Also, what are your thoughts on potentially using a mod like Tectonic for the eventual next season? My thinking is that it’d provide you with a much larger foundation to construct your dream city as well as just looking better in general.
for lore’s sake, maybe it could be interesting creating different armors and tools for each regions of the world, and this could be done with the armor trims! for example, new papyrus has it’s own set of armor and whenever you’re working in the area, you’d use it and give a new look to it. the bad side it would be to get netherite for it and the cost of the diamonds, but still, it would look awesome
Amazing video Fwhip! Love your idea of bringing the castle back from season 2, it is the best castle design I have seen; you continue to amaze and inspire me with my own world!
I don’t really care if the world is hardcore or not. If you changed it to survival I’d still watch because of your build style and humor. The only way I’d have an issue is if you died in hardcore and decided to continue and still call it hardcore( not from a bug in the game obviously).
yeah i agree, it's so unfortunate that mojang doesn't want to lag out the game edit: okay fwip, i got this idea. your snowy mountaint. would be the perfect location for a mage tower, where the idea is that the mage has tried and succeeded to bring the snow around him to life, and create.. a snow golem
I chose my worlds similarly. Usually something about what made me wanna restart a world ie:BorednWannaHollowOutAMountain, FrustratednNeedARefresh. U can get some funky seeds that way😂💜
You talked in your last stream about creating a meditaranian city on that island, how about you built something inspired by Venice with its many canals
I would love to see a return of the season 2 castle! Seeing it really takes me back. That was when I had first started watching your stuff as it came out.
Could you go back and do a quick tour of your hardcore season 1 world as well? :D Seeing the old season 2 world and your current thoughts on what you did then are very interesting to listen to. Comparing your current self back to your old self.
Hardcore is definitely fun, having had several hc worlds in the past myself the threat of losing everything does create a special sort of attachments to the builds. However I've switched to survival recently because I think once you reach a certain point (lots of automated material farms, maxed gear, rockets, etc) you can begin to push the boundary of survival building. The threat of starting over and having to do make all the same farms again and do all the progression for gear was a little too much for me imo because I want to continuously expand my world and not lose years of work to a mistimed jump or flying into a wall. I think your world has almost infinite potential for expansion because you've interconnected so far in such a great way. I would be sad if you restarted bc of one wrong move and lose all the future potential this world has. If you end up going the survival route you could honor the hardcore aspect of it by having some sort of penalty or sacrifice for each time you die so there are still some sort of stakes. Either way, looking forward to see what you do next!
Love each one of your videos and you're a big inspiration for me and my Minecraft worlds! But I have a question that might interest most of your community, how much time (roughly) does it take you to make one of your videos? (you could talk about editing each videos, creative building, resource gathering, etc)
FWhip! Quick question, can you walk us through your “behind the scenes areas” or staging areas for builds? When you move your resources to your project area, how do you set those things up? Thank you!
There are some texture packs that make all types of leaves have particles and biomes like dripstone caves having some dark ash like particles which is really cool
I'd love to be able to dye end rods to get different colored lights. Heck if they'd like us dye spore blossoms that would be amazing. Or maybe have the spore blossom spawn naturally in different colors so then you have to go exploring to find all the colors. Then you can get the partials in different colors.
okay, here is my true, unasked for take on the whole "should it be hardcore" question: literally all i want is to watch this world keep getting built and developed and complexified. you could do it in creative mode for all i care, move mountains with world edit, easy-place litematica, mods, vertical slabs, the debug stick, everything and the kitchen sink. the rules that i would like in place around your building is None. do whatever will give me More Of It. however, over the years you have made it clear that having free rein is not what gets those creative juices flowing and often actively hinders being in the zone. this is not a thing i understand, but it is a thing i must accept. so, the caveat to my No Rules rule is that fwhip can have whatever limitations he wants for the purposes of getting him excited for a project. getting excited for a project is basically the only reason a rule should exist imo. which... i get is almost definitely already the policy in place and im probably over here sounding like a jackass talking about it in this tone, but i just want to make it very clear that the game "being fair" is my absolute lowest priority as a viewer.
fWhip, what about if your hardcore world makes it to 10,000 days and you end up dying afterwards then you can switch the hardcore world to regular survival? P.S. I agree if a totem pops build another world tree!
I think for the start a new area since you have so much built up in the end and nether maybe try a challenge where you don't go into either of those areas and work on a project with just what you have
adding onto the particle discussion, is there a mod out there that adds more particles like that? If not (im not great with modding) would that even be possible?
I also tried making a seed unique in the theme I wanted, like my first one was gonna be related to my Zodiac Sign, but after a while I spent so much time looking for the “perfect” seed that it started to drive me nuts because I can’t decide what I want. So I just said “I’ll just go with whatever the game gives me.” I did the same for my wolf world too and it was gonna be separate worlds, one related to Capricorn and the other for the Wolfs until someone gave me the idea to just put it all together for size and space on my console. I just want a world I can keep and not delete after a few minutes of playing after dissatisfaction. Also I really like that wolf statue, can I borrow that? Also anyone know what storage on Switch is like for Minecraft worlds?
4:28 you still kind if do this .. now you mix more of a new block in 🥰 Like the inner parts of Path have the new blocks 💝 I would be afraid to do it , your progress is amazing 😹 Still waiting on that Tuft Castle 🙈 Dont risk it!!! 💝🥰💝 love that castle , take a few details into your new world , fully agree 🥰🥰🥰 please do !!
Every time fwhip pops a totem, he has to build 64 interiors.
The potato in the house was dropped by a baby zombie during some terraforming project. But that's why it's named "Survived the World Ender"
Also that Iron Armor in the house was the first set he made I believe.
it was a baby zombie which is iconic for ending Philza's world and fWhip survived a baby zombie with full armour and a swkrd
The first diamond pickax was upgraded to netherite and broke during clearing in the nether to build the skelly farm and the ‘I Survived The World Ender’ potato was from when you defeated a butter boy baby zombie with a sword and that’s what it dropped.
12:15 YES! Honestly the season 2 castle is one of your best builds in my opinion, and it would be so cool to see it again.

All those chunks that were loaded but not visited were probably from the armor trim hunts. All in all great video, looking forward to the next one!
hi fwip! i don't know if you know the youtuber rekrap2, but in a recent Q+A video on his second channel, he mentioned that collaborating with you would be interesting. i thought it might be fun considering your different cont styles! would you ever consider collaborating with him?
i was gonna say this :D

That castle would be amazing near the costal village you recently did

Bob Ross of Minecraft is a perfect description of you lol
Oh, the castle from season 2 in the current hardcore world? I am here for it, I loved that one.
In the past you have mentioned the idea of the world tree's roots expanding down into the nether from under its position in the surface world. Is that still on the list as a future fWhip project (possibly with roots winding through the dwarven district on the way down)?
Hey fWhip,
Do you plan on doing a mob collection/museum in your hardcore world?

Hi fWhip,
With the 5 new potion added to minecraft are you planning to build an autobrewingstation/potionstorage in the dwarfendistrict?
I would love to see a return of the season 2 castle! Seeing it really takes me back. That was when I had first started watching your stuff as it came out.
The potatoe was dropped by a gold armor baby zombie. Famous for ending hardcore runs
Could you go back and do a quick tour of your hardcore season 1 world as well? :D Seeing the old season 2 world and your current thoughts on what you did then are very interesting to listen to. Comparing your current self back to your old self.
If you want to bring the castle back, make it into that university you were planning on building, something like a hogwarts but in the city of path.
Hardcore is definitely fun, having had several hc worlds in the past myself the threat of losing everything does create a special sort of attachments to the builds. I had a dream last night where you lost your hardcore world due to kinetic energy, just something to keep in mind...
Always love these, almost as much the main episodes at this point haha
Love each one of your videos and you're a big inspiration for me and my Minecraft worlds!
But I have a question that might interest most of your community, how much time (roughly) does it take you to make one of your videos? (you could talk about editing each videos, creative building, resource gathering, etc)
My friend and I come up with very random words to find our seeds. I'll say, give me a word. She'll answer with something like gas pump. 😂
FWhip! Quick question, can you walk us through your “behind the scenes areas” or staging areas for builds? When you move your resources to your project area, how do you set those things up? Thank you!
There are some texture packs that make all types of leaves have particles and biomes like dripstone caves having some dark ash like particles which is really cool
Damn it I wish you made this literally 2 days earlier lol, oh well I already started a survival
I'd love to be able to dye end rods to get different colored lights. Heck if they'd like us dye spore blossoms that would be amazing. Or maybe have the spore blossom spawn naturally in different colors so then you have to go exploring to find all the colors. Then you can get the partials in different colors.
You could finish the castle from s2 in a one off creative build. I’d love to see what you would have done with it
base the university on the s2 castle! that would be cool way to bring it back and modernize it
I was so upset when you died before finishing the season 2 castle so I for one would be stoked if you decided to remake it and finish it
I would love a blue version of the spor blossom that had blue particles. Would be so cool for gardens and swamps
Will you ever mod your hardcore world and if not might you start a modded hardcore world
okay, here is my true, unasked for take on the whole "should it be hardcore" question:
literally all i want is to watch this world keep getting built and developed and complexified. you could do it in creative mode for all i care, move mountains with world edit, easy-place litematica, mods, vertical slabs, the debug stick, everything and the kitchen sink. the rules that i would like in place around your building is None. do whatever will give me More Of It.
however, over the years you have made it clear that having free rein is not what gets those creative juices flowing and often actively hinders being in the zone. this is not a thing i understand, but it is a thing i must accept. so, the caveat to my No Rules rule is that fwhip can have whatever limitations he wants for the purposes of getting him excited for a project. getting excited for a project is basically the only reason a rule should exist imo.

A world tree in the nether would be really cool so then you have one in the overworld, the end and the nether
fWhip, what about if your hardcore world makes it to 10,000 days and you end up dying afterwards then you can switch the hardcore world to regular survival? P.S. I agree if a totem pops build another world tree!
You can go through the end portal to see where the spawn block is.
I would love to see you take armor and tools and start new. That'd be awesome.
World trees of different tree species would be cool.
I am kinda curios on which mods you use. I know you have mentioned litematica before. are there any other mods you use on the mere regular
Please finish the castle that’d be sweet
I think for the start a new area since you have so much built up in the end and nether maybe try a challenge where you don't go into either of those areas and work on a project with just what you have
I still can't believe we got PINK leaves before yellow or orange leaves.
yes we need another world tree.. maybe a big cherry tree?
Has to do a different type of world tree each time. Giat spruce, giant acacia, etc
adding onto the particle discussion, is there a mod out there that adds more particles like that? If not (im not great with modding) would that even be possible?
The iron armor is the original one he had
What do you think about going away and build a new city/ district for 1111 days when you reach 10000 days?
fWhip, if you made another world tree, could they really be considered world trees?
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE
There is not the need to die to be done with this world, if u feel like it, start a new one, we’ll be here
that would be the good ending
11:49. Yes I agree .
With what recoursepack do you get that grass? On 1.21
Are you planning to build a Steampunk city in this world our the neckst world
make a world tree sapling somewhere else in the world
Whats the program called and where should I find the video? :)
Can you type /seed and se what it shows
the title didnt make sense to me
Who was it you said made a good video on deleting/resseting chunks
What's the seeeeeeeeeedddddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Voting for interconnected world trees!
