10:16 the way warping/bubbles work, you don't need the nullification to last for whole align time. If you can warp or not, and where you will land if there is a bubble at destination is calculated the moment you press warp. Exception is if you press warp (without nullifier on) and during aligning a new bubble pops up on top of you, then your ship will stop
About the 8 minute mark I was like ‘No way!’ I learned something today which I will use. Thank you, thank you, thank you for teaching this old dog new tricks!
I use my prowler all the time to pick up my PI from lowsec. I have a lot to relearn about travel in such areas, however my bookmarks and the stealthy capabilities and cargo capacity have made the runs easy so far, as long as I keep my attention on what I'm doing! ;) Good video man, thanks for taking the time!
I ended up with Gallente haulers just because if you want to do any sort of PI the Planetary Commodity hold in the Epithal is pretty essential. Since you already have to train into Galente haulers to get it, I just kept it going. I only do the most basic PI and it's a fairly reliable 100 million a week. Definitely worth doing if you have 5 minutes to click Extract on your 3 characters each morning, and maybe 30 minutes to haul finished products around once a week.
At 17:10 you mention that you can use the MWD+Cloak trick with the Blockade Runner. But surely if you're using a covert ops cloak you don't need to; you just click warp (breaking your temporary gate cloak), cloak up with the covert ops cloak, and then about 3 or 4 seconds later you'll warp whilst cloaked.
@@shilohwelch9626 Yes you will, but I don't know of any way to avoid that. Using the MWD+Cloak trick would be the same, only you'd be in space, cloaked, for the 10-second MWD cycle before warping off.
The Prowler, a great ship! She was the basis for a successful & self-sufficient life in the Shattered Wormholes, she was my citadel & a wolf in sheep's clothing with the Combat Scanners!
10:08 The align time isn't important for the nullifier. Typically you align first, get up to speed, then hit the nullifier right before you warp. The align time is mostly just important for when you find you've jumped into a gate camp bubble. You need to get into warp before tackle can burn over to you and a pair of scrams on you.
This man talking about the cloak/MWD warp trick in reference to a cov ops cloak ship, and you nitpick about the nullifier thing? (That trick is for ships that can't cloak and warp at the same time, simply cloaking and warping with no MWD is purely better on this ship. Nevermind it was equipped with an AB >.>)
You can and should activate the nullifier while gate cloaked. The nullifier can expire while you're aligning and you'll still warp. It only checks when you click the warp button. This is different than the WCS which checks both on Warp button and after aligning when you actually enter warp.
Great video! I would love to see an example of surviving warping into a gate camp. Every time I get ganked I drop into a bubble with a 'gang of three' where my cloak drops. (some array of three ships... One to do damage One that drains my capacitor and one that scrambles me)
It's not easy to escape once you're caught. It takes practice developing the reaction time and muscle memory to notice you've been interdicted, engage your nullifier, and warp out before being pointed. If you have a corp, you can always do some "safe" practice runs with them to help build those skills. When you're successful, it feels really good escaping a gate camp and subsequent chase. Don't ask how it felt losing a Viator carrying a Tengu, fittings, and loot totaling 1.3B in the 2 minutes before downtime on the last jump out of null tho.....
Regarding high sec hauling, you should try moving from incursion to incursion with your bling fits worth upwards of 5-10 bil / ship when every ganker knows you're an incursion pilot. That'll give you a similar feel to traveling through wormholes. :) Otherwise nice video, keep it up.
good reason to skill into gallente over the other faction when it comes to hauling ship, are the higher selection of specialized t1 transport ships, like you can get the t1 kryos that can carry up to 70k m3 minerals. allso find the blockade runner to be alot safer ship then the deep sport transport. blockade runners are really hard to catch by themselvs, and if you run a scout 2 jumps ahead of it, to make sure you dont land it in a gatecamp, they near impossible to catch, and i feel so safe in them with that setup i have no issues flying around with 10-12 bill + in the cargo on regular basis if i need to
I know I'm late but cargo containers are great for storage, it adds a very small amount of room to cargo. I use it on my apoc navy issue to hall my energy caps and scripts and other thingamajigs
just so you know, you're better off keeping the align time above 14 seconds, because a MWD lasts 10 seconds, meaning if you cloaky mwd (or just pulse mwd) when it ends, you will always warp in 10 seconds. this allows you to be 10s align but fit stuff like damage control or power diagnostic, heck even cargo if you want. run triple prop instead of shield extender: MWD for cloaky mwd or just going fast AB for when scrammed (MWD doesnt work when scrammed) MJD for escaping sticky situations with cloaky+MJD trick, pretty much uncatchable with this. It sounds silly but give it some thought. If you are caught by a significant gatecamp, you're already dead. escaping is more important than having EHP thatll make you still pop, just a minute or two slower.

low align time doesn't help you not getting popped at stations where you don't have a instadock, which is where most blockade runners are killed imho. i'd get more tank on that blockade runner
Have you considered an afterburner instead of a jump drive? The afterburner allows you to align in 8s flat, without having to fit for agility. They are also useful to burn to the gate, if you are scrambled and your MWD is turned off. I don't see the usefulness of the micro jump drive since they are also disabled when you are scrambled, regardless of your warp core strength.

I don't get the shakes in any other pvp game like I do when I'm flying bling and something unexpected happens fuckin addicting
Exactly this! It's the adrenaline rush that's addicting.
@@captainbenzie I came back to the game recently after a long break and discovered the hard way what T2 Dreads are like, my JF got lanced coming back into high sec. Didn't care about the loss but my adrenaline was super high the whole time.
@@handlesaresuperghey yup, those things are SCARY!!
High risk? Jump Freighters or bust!
😂 can't use them in our wormhole though!
Think my less cheap Mastodon fit lands around 320k ehp heated :)
I think as long as you have started the warp within the 13s you are fine.
Nice
Yo I’m driving here get outta my way
😂
what happened to eve echoes? Has that game gone like all other games in the china market and fallen to microtransactions gallore?
Yeeeeeeeuuuuuuup
......he likes huffing things is all i got from that
Yep subscribed finally an eve tuber who actually shows useful information and not just hang out on the test server all dam day
Huffing is one of the best activities. For some reason I really love it. Reminds me of mowing the lawn. It's work that is relaxing.
Haha thank you 🤣
Can't say I like the ship blows it is gone. Never liked it in any game esp not an MMO. However the player system would not work in Eve any other way. So I accept that to enjoy the rest.
Wow, I fly Amarr BR and wow, it aligns in 3 seconds and you are talking about 11.
That's the DST, not the BR
@@captainbenzie Ok then you have to explain your hauling idea. 1. Why do you have a cloak and care about align time? You are supposed to be aligning while cloaked. 2. Align time has no connection with the nullifier. You are supposed to click it When you are ready to jump so why does the 13 seconds matter? When are you clicking your nullifier?
Remember, shield extenders and inertial stabilizers increase your signature radius, making you easier to lock and land that scram.
Yes, but you're visible for literally 1 second.
