Correct. To be fair, if you can hit a 2s align time, you can have the signature radius of a station and still be uncatchable. At 3s, even large it requires a perfect server tick lock.

I am coming back after a long time away. Thanks for 1 million skill points!! now Im able to skill into a nice covert ops ship after I make them risky iskies ;> your video is a great help!
The "Perch" approach is something I don't usually make any use of. The time required to move from each can, back to the perch, onto the next can takes a bit of time. Moving within a site typically takes at most a MWD cycle (10 seconds) which allows you to cover a 25-30km distance in a Cheetah, which is less time then moving back and forth towards the perch. While Perch approach could indeed be safer, a lot of sites are fairly predictable for hunters to camp and they will see you arrive and start the hack. Hence for me (in my space) it is not valuable to use the Perch tactic and I'd rather use the MWD to travel within a site. Still interesting to hear other opinions.
MWD usage also makes it harder to warp off if someone does decloak during your transit. Those 10s between cans are when you're very vulnerable, and a perch (at align 3s) only takes about 12s to warp to and back. To me, that's 2s extra time per can to save your ship. I've had an Astero decloak as I'm warping off. Had I been subwarp, I'd have been dead.
Great guide, thanks for that! I would have two follow up questions - What is your fit if money doesn't matter? - Do you have a guide on how you create the warp-ins without a MWD? Didn't find the guide if it is there already Cheers from a fellow Cheetah pilot
For the first question, it depends on the ship and your skills. You can see my Cheetah fit elsewhere on this channel 😊 Regarding warp ins, if you mean a perch, I've done a video on that too!
I know amarr explo ships are bad. But I LOVE the anathema design. So that's what I fly. Doesn't make me make less money, sure at the end of the day there is probably some defineable percentage difference. But exploration prints isk, and at the end of the day ,I'm happy and had fun, I look cool af.
Amarr Explo ships aren't bad at all. The Anathema is absolutely a solid option. They all have their own unique strengths and weaknesses dependant on play style, fitting, skills etc

What kind of scan strength should we be aiming for? Obviously more is better but there must be a point it's just overkill? I got killed by a Heron in a wormhole, I thought he was a fellow Heron explorer but he had guns. xD
Quick question about the referal link. That only works on the first caracter u create on an account correct? Up untill now i have only ever used 1 caracter on my account so there would be no way to get the 1mil sp if i made a caracter on 1 of the 2 remaining slots correct. I was 1 of those that went, dude wtf where is the prop mod u gonna be stuck and getting to each can is gonna take forever. But ofc if u use a close perch to jump from to be able to warp directly to a can that wouldent matter. Exploration is easily the recommended activity i would suggest for a brand new player to start with and build up there wallet. Its also a very cheap and easy way to learn how to use wormholes to quickly move around in different areas of space and to use the D-scan to stay alive.
How do I run sites with rats? Do I take some sort of offensive capability & clear the site first, or is there a mechanic I should know about? I check Eve University before warping to any sig & have so far avoided any data or relic sites with an enemy. Am I just missing something?
So, you're best sticking to any site named "Central, Local, Regional, Ruined, Crumbling, Decaying" as these are sage sites. Avoid anything "Forgotten/Unsecured" as those are essentially combat sites with hackable containers. To do those, you need a combat capable vessel. I did show a Stratios that can hack one of the C5 Wormhole data sites.

I saw a guy in a class 3 unknown red giant system, last night, in a haron probing me out. Heron vs Imicus is a decent fight so I let him find me. A Sabre can't kill me from 60km, but just in case, I warped off laughing at him in local about how ridiculous he was to not come at me for a good fight in the heron. LOSER😂 Thumbs up capt'n Benzie 👍
