I love this. It's nice to see 2 moms from different backgrounds both fighting different pains. Both jealous of each other but would never admit it. I just love Reese witherspoon
yeah but Mia is so annoyyingg lol she is hostile to Elena from the moment she saw her. she is only good to Bebe cos she thinks she help herself. she is so selfish and only accept "hers" kind of pains
Love this breakdown especially how paralleled everything is and your convo is really laid back with the scenes sliced in I love ! Would love to see more show recaps
The show was incredible ... I loved it so much I've watched it acouple of times, because you get more out of looking at each of the characters and how their prejudices shape the story. Great drama and a story really well told. I thought it did make sense that the other 3 kids burned down the house ... they were outraged at how their mother spoke to Izzy. Izzy's character was such a strong character, in the face of all the pressures she held true to being herself. Pearl I thought was also great in portraying a typical developing teenage girl, wanting to fit in and making choices as a young woman. Thanks guys.
This show was incredible to me..,love the acting from the entire cast. I think the show "Siren" would be a good binge, it's out of the box, I'm enjoying it🔥🔥🔥
Can't wait to see this. It's weird to see Reese playing a dou**e. I'm used to sweet Reese. Kerri Washington is amazingly talented. I'm not sure I can enjoy the show, seeing Reese talk to her daughter the way shown in the preview I saw. The scene of her telling her daughter she never wanted her, literally breaks my heart to see, even though she's acting, it's a loud reminder children around the world have mothers like that in real life. I'll see if I can bear it or not. I'm going to be in tears everytime I see Reese treat her non construct, odd child out, like dirt may be too much for me to watch and enjoy calmly. I'll see. If you're a Guardian and speak to your children that way, you're a pos parent / guardian / caretaker... Words leave scars for a lifetime, never talk to a child that way, ever. No matter how upset or hurt you might be. They are children not aware of their actions affecting those around them, because they are children, still learning how to grow up. We adults have to set and lead by example. If it's too racist will be difficult yet crucial to be in your face to understand the racial devide still affecting brown and black minorities every single day, even in 2021 they're still fighting for equality, in the meantime, people are STILL blind to the racial devide they face DAILY... Much of the world continues to pretend it doesn't exist anymore. Too many still choose to not face facts about all the struggles faced on a regular basis. At any rate, I'll give it a chance then decide if it's going to be eye opening, a learning instrument or too effing heart crushing to enjoy.
I'm watching this series now. Mia disgusts me. Such confidence in the moral superiority in a person who interferes in other people's lives, deciding for others what they need, takes children away from their parents. People help her, trust her, and she destroys their lives. She also despises the people she lied to and wronged.
Out of everything that happened in this series the fact that you at 21 minutes and 10 seconds it was like ‘the idea that she hasn’t physically assaulted this child despite all the lies she’s told her in the life that she’s put her through’ is just nasty work.
21.20 Please don‘t slap your children‘s face. Wtf. There is no way to justify physical abuse. I liked the summary but this phrase was real bs and absolutely disgusting

Mia isn't jealous of Elena lol. Mia just outright despises Elena.

I know right?! I could not handle it lol
