Thanks a lot!! I appreciate you putting so much time into this tutorial series. You explain everything so clearly that it is easy to follow and the examples are very helpful!
I am so glad I found these tutorial video, it was so clear and I m happy that this is my first my first time successful solve a cube blindfolded, thank you so much
Some Beginner 3BLD Solvers, I have a tip for this algorithm (Parity algorithm 2:00 ) You can do the Ra Perm for this as it does the same thing ( R U' R' U' R U R D R' U' R D' R' U2 R' U' )
for the edges can we use the j perm rather than using long set up for certain cases? For example if I want to swap B with C I make a J perm instead of doing long set up and then a T. And for the corners can we also use the y perm normally ? If i wanna swap A with K i can Just do R then the Y perm instead of doing D R to set up
For memo and exec of corners it's easier for me to use E as the buffer instead of A is that okay? Should I switch to A as my buffer? I use the same alg and same buffer piece just different letter for the buffer
It is OK and some tutorials actually teach using this! BUT, you need to know that your target position would instead be V, instead of P. And so you need to setup your targets to V instead of P.
@@swiftcubing yeah I know and I remember For some reason it's easier for me to do it like that Maybe because I already learnt it from j perm and now I'm used to it idk 🤷♂️ Anyways you said it's okay to do it like that right?
The Solving Edges practice, I did it normally Blindfolded (because I Know how to do 3bld) and I average about just over 10 mins and im watching your series because I get some helpful tips😅 and what was your first 3bld success? Mine was 7 mins and 54 seconds
I actually used orozco for my first success for some reason (would not recommend) so it took me ages but I eventually got a 5:3x for my first, something around there
Hey Charlie! I hope your having a great day. I have one question though, do you have any tips on setup moves for flipped edges for white and yellow (like the ones you showed at around 10:12)? Because I am having a hard time trying to find how to swap them or the correct setup moves.
There is but you shouldn't learn them right away. You can instead just use the normal algorithms as if you cycle broke into the flip as you memorised (discussed in part 2)
I watched the first part of this video, and then thought that I knew everything, but I failed my first attempt. I didn't find out that it was parity that messed me up until I watched the whole thing🎉
Thanks charlie, this is the best blindfolded tutorial. After doing some practice from ur video(the examples at the last), i successfully did my first solve. Thanks a lot broo!!
Sometimes when I am doing the edges I find it easier for me to just use the J-perm instead of the T-perm in some situations to make setups easier. I realized that the T-perm and J-perms very nicely complement one another when certain letters are hard to setup to the T-perm. I still use the same buffer, just that C will be the target when using the J-perm instead of D.
I like to use as few algorithms as possible, and so, whenever I am using Old Pochmann I hate having to use the parity algorithm. What I find easier is to just memorize edges A and D as being swapped whenever we have an odd number of corners. I memorize the corners first, and so whenever odd, I always remember the A and D edges as being swapped, which eliminates the need to use the parity algorithm. Doing it this way, the edges will always be even and never odd. I memorize the corners, then the edges A and D as being swapped and then I execute the edges first, followed by the corners last, since edges are harder to remember I like to execute them first. Now, after those even edges are executed, A and D are already swapped, and so, after executing the odd corners those A and D edges magically fix themselves without needing any parity algorithms. I noticed by doing it this way, it always either causes us to do the same amount of algorithms, or sometimes saves 2 algorithms since now we don’t need to worry about that smelly parity algorithm. For example, instead of 11 letters to remember for the edges plus the parity alg making 12, sometimes it will be 12 even edges instead, being the same amount of algs to perform and sometimes it will be 10 algs instead of 11 odd plus parity, saving two algs from needing to be performed! I still haven’t mastered 3 style, and maybe i never will, but I love to do Old Pochmann for the corners and advanced M2 for the edges.
I had a mbld comp yesterday and I did 1.5/4 cubes (I didn't memo the last half of the cube so I got a dnf but the half cube that I did memo I got right!!)😊 thanks for the tutorials man!
LETS GOOOOO. My first sucxessful solve!!!!!!! forget to time tracing 4 min excecution. I didnt look at cube and I wrote down the traces and read that so I didnt need to memorize. either eay im happy
I would love to learn 3 style at some point, I just can’t seem to understand it well enough and so I am stuck using OP for corners and M2 for edges. I gave 3 style a shot but I just couldn’t understand it very well.
Hi Charlie so i really like the video it really helped me but i just did'nt understand what to do when the buffer is twisted. Could you help me please???
Hi Charlie, Thank you so much! I can finally solve rubiks Cube Blindfolded. BTW I had a hard time understanding how to solve the cube if the buffer is already solved or just flipped at its solved position. Can you suggest what should I do? Also, when will the part 4 come?
Hi i am from sri lanka my freind are very fast at 3×3,2×2 and other i cant beat them i thought i failed but this videos blew up a flower in my head and i am practing 3bld ti my next comp thanks charlie i will practice and break the nr od sri lanka and be a good bld solver thanks for your help please put the p4 of this as soon as you can i am waiting bye have a good cubing journey

Thankyou so much! That's awesome to hear that it was helpful! I hope it helped you on your blindsolving journey, and good luck with the rest of it!

That's awesome to hear. Good job!
Your 3x3 blind series will go crazy viral with some time! It’s the only one that I can actually understand lol

Can’t wait for part 4!!

Thanks for the best bld tutorial 😁
What is the best cube for blindfold solving
I think it´s the Dayan Tenyun v1 or v2
Great vid Charlie!waiting for pt 4
Got my first BLD succes in comp last week! Drilling my memo with the first 2 parts really helped.
Good job! I'm glad they could help

Sorry for taking a while, but now it's here and good luck!

Charlie i´m learning orozco and m2 but i have never solved the cube blindfolded.
Should i learn it or just go with Old Pochman
I think it is best time learn with old pochmann first. Then once you have gotten a success you can try out learning other methods. Good luck!

You should totally try a 3-style series at some point!
Does the setup moves has to be exact same?

Check out part 2 which talks about cycle breaking which should solve this
Hi charlie i was wondering i can solve a 2x2 blind but i learned that e swaps with v should i relearn it your way?
What cube did you use?
When is part 4
Can that R perm switches to some other R perm?
Yes, you can use a different algorithm as long as it swaps the same pieces. So make sure you are doing the right R perm and AUFing afterwards
Like your tutorial ❤️🔥
Im having alot of trouble with part 2 in cycle breaking the edges.
Oh another question in corners can I change the buffer sticker?
Thank you very much for reading and answering my question!!!

hey eggins, what if ur sovling bld and u get a solved buffer edge piece what to do then?
When is part four coming?
Which cube should I buy for bld? What cube is best for bld?

Part 4 is already up!
Question instead of doing Dw can I just do a slice move
You can as long as it doesn't effect the pieces that you can't effect and does set up the piece that you are trying to set up
Question: how to know when to stop memo
Do you know when you will be making part four???
It's coming soon hopefully, been busy but it's certainly a priority
