There's still not much for the others, but in the fanstream were they talk about sunstreaker they mention the original model was "GIGANTIC" on the scale chart for the characters but they changed it to match the other autobots. That's a weird anecdote to me and does make the idea of a sunstreaker design existing more credible. 2:55 i think the black markings are supposed to represent repaired parts, since the plot of the game was supposed to be "transformers have been deactivated for years now humans need to find them and *REACTIVATE*/repair them to fight against the evil alien guys"
My favorite example of a Transformer that doesn’t exist is the normal version of the MtG card “Slicer, Hired Muscle”. G1 Wheeljack design with Armada Wheeljack’s colors, named after an Action Master toy, who then became the name of SG Wheeljack. So much Wheeljack that isn’t Wheeljack
I remember finding SS Concept Art Megatron in Target and immediately snatching it along with a Studio Series BBM Shockwave. Prolly the best figures in my collection.
If reactivate really was a scam it makes the toys story one of the most interesting in transformers history, A scam that was announced half a decade ago, Put on the afterburner for years and then they finally release 4 toys just for the game to be cancelled months later
You could have also talked about Studio Series 09 Thundecracker too. He doesn't appear in Dark Of The Moon or any of the Bayverse movies at all. But weirdly enough it is still one of the earliest Studio Series figures ever.
He’s likely a left over from the Toys R Us exclusive TLK toyline, he fits right into the aesthetic of those figs, but because of everything that happened to Toys R Us he was likely pushed back and included in SS. Weird but honestly a really cool figure I definitely recommend if you can find for cheap.
BBM Megatron did have a model in the movie bc there are reports of the scene being in test screenings. As for the lack of tangible concept art, I assume secrecy has something to do with it, seeing how sometimes, certain concept art is locked away for ages while the rest is released to the public.
@@dumbjakeworld There is a video that in UA-cam with all the details but basically it's what the movie would have been should Id still be a bayverse prequel, with Megatron appearing as a post credit scene, frozen by sector 7 but with the concept design

I might get Reactivate Bumblebee and just look at the figure as its own continuity rather than being tied to a cancelled game we’ll never see. Like this is Bumblebee that evolved from his cutesy Volkswagen Beetle era to his badass guns blazing scout era.
I really wanted a single pack version of Reactivate Starscream, but that will probably never happen now. The black paint apps are there to represent battle damage and how they've been patched back together from parts of other Transformers.
Y'know, the concept art Megatron was eventually used in mainline ROTB toys box art. One of the toys was an Authentics Titan Changer repackage, and another one was a smaller ROTF Megatron
The thing that could lead credibility that there was a BBM Megatron CGI model is that descriptions for some alleged test screenings (which reported on deleted scenes that you can find on the home release long before the movie had even hit home release, which lends some credibility to those reports) said that there was ending sequence where Sector 7 agents talked about they can't let the Autobots and Decepticons know about what they have hidden and the camera then panned to reveal Megatron frozen body but looking more like his G1 self than his Movie 1 self.
Random thought i really want like good figures for rescue bots. we did see a chase for legacy united and heatwave is going to be in age of primes but we need boulder and blades
I really wish they would do a concept art of the concept appearances of some of the characters we actually do have. That would be so cool! [In my opinion]. It could be called something like: "Alternate timeline" or something along that line. This will most likely never happen, lol.
Alternate Timelines - Optimus Prime is greyscale in one in another, Optimus Prime has a gun altmode (yes, those are references to the "dead Optimus" and the Nerf gun Optimus)
I bought Bumblebee this weekend. It's worth the novelty of having merchandise for a cancelled video game, but nothing more. (Although the plastic on mine might be warped, so that's probably affecting my opinion)
i'm so happy reactivate got cancelled, that game seemed like anything but good, and after the gameplay my suspicions about it being some asset flip with transformers skins seemed to be true, and on top of that other than the story sounding pretty bland after investigating a little bit about splash damage it being cancelled is like the best thing that could've happened
The fandom has freaked out over possible franchise death during what turned out to be brief luls like five times over the last few years and it’s getting ridiculous
To everyone who owns these toys and was excited about the game like myself, think of it like this. We have physical beta content of an unreleased game. We own a bit of lost video game media now in a sense (this is how I'm coping)
One of my coworkers was a UI developer for Reactivate years ago before he left the company. He said back then it was just “Untitled Transformers Game” and didn’t even know it was called Reactivate until he saw the announcement that it was cancelled because he hadn’t thought about it until now.
Honestly I think they only released the reactivate figures because they needed to make space in a warehouse, also we're most likely never going to know what the story of reactivate was gonna be one dev came out and said they never fully figured out the story only just figuring out when it got cancelled
Man, all I want is a game like 2004 TransFormers Armada, but with a new set of robots. No DLC, no always-online, a democrat as president, local co-op, and maybe even a toyline of the new characters. Why is this so hard?
Hey Jake, I've seen people who transform their Concept art Megatron into a gun, maybe you can find a video on how to transform him into gun mode to avoid the pain from the other alt modes.
It can be a good thing to have some blank slate character, you can like them solely by design and won't stop liking them because of a character trait or the way they or their universe is depicted. we can pair up Concept Megatron and Reactivate Optimus and it wouldn't break any canon since both don't exist. Kinda like MP-10 with the promotional Optimus design (the realistic G1 one with wheels on the legs, grey instead of white mid section, yellow arrows and a white stripe in the truck mode) that never actually appeared anywhere in media.
I ended up with that Bumblebee Brawn from Hasbro's customer service for free. I think at some point I wanted to do a Doom/Isabelle from Animal Crossing Mashup, but I never got around to it. Probably couldn't justify spending money for a joke.
Here's hoping we get Transit and Bloodhound for the concept line because both have actual concept art and Transit is a popular character despite only existing in an unfinished scene
I think it's nothing short of hysterical that the entirety of the gamer edition subline is composed of characters from games we can't even fucking play.
I don't know about Bee, but I read somewhere that Starscream was asymmetrical because he was supposed to have been blown up and repaired either during or before the events of the game.
I'll never understand why 60% of transformers figures look so bad with only like 2 colors, but then the 40% look gorgeous full of details. Is there a lore reason for this? Can anyone explain this phenomenon?
From what I've heard, designers have a budget dedicated to a whole wave, so some figures get more love while others end up being more simple or repaints. It's unfortunate, but that's just how they operate their business.
@@dumbjakeworld I didn't expect an answer this quick! I figured it was something along those lines. I assume waves are like, for lack of a better term, ""seasons"" with like a few figures per? So sorry if my original comment was very negative, i couldn't word it any better
No, I didn't perceive it as negative. Waves could be considered like seasons, sure, and they're often referred to as Wave 1, Wave 2, etc. And they'll include a few figures from each different size class.
I was hoping you would talk more about figures for the various movie lines that were never actually transformers. Like they were based off of a background vehicle just to fill up the toy aisles
Bumblebee Megatron does actually have some concept art. On the package of the basic Megatron figure from the Rise of the Beasts line, that released way before the Studio Series figure, there’s art of this exact same design. The figure inside is just a stock G1-ish repack, but the art on the box is definitely Bumblebee Megatron

I was very interested in the Lifeline that was listed. Speaking on the game itself, I expect it was canceled, not just because of internal conflict, but also because of the faliures of fellow live service games Kill The Justice League and specifically Concord.
They tend not to release a lot of concepts for some reason. Hell, the Transit scene wasn’t even fully released. There was supposed to be a scene of Prime throwing Transit into a Con-corpse filled Hudson River.
After seeing your video with the blokees, i am so into them! I have 4 and am getting more later this week. I specifically want to get all the versions of Optimus Prime in the 4 inch size. I count the white Ultra Magnus as one because of his design lol. Anyway i hope you do more videos on them sometime.
Would've been crazy if you showed some real weird ones like Hyperdrive who is said to be a redeco of Star Convoy next year. He only exists in like one thing ever and barely. Then you got SG Springer who somehow has a TFWiki article despite only showing a figure of a bot who may be Springer from one of the comics. There's also DOTM Blaster, Prototype Lio Convoy and a lot more.
3:46 hey Jake I hope you see this. I love your stuff dude. Also you can actually store the guns on the bottom of his arms in vehicle mode too Edit: also at 10:41 I noticed your Sunstreaker is missassembled because mine was like that too. It’s the parts connected to the leg that attach them to the hood of the vehicle mode
Would be so nice to have those toys. But I think I'll have to stick to whatever Transformers toys I can afford, unless there's a Transformer I want whether they're Deluxe, Voyager or whichever.
The asymmetry on Starscream killed him for me. We do know why they. In the planned story they were repaired with random bits then “reactivated” to fight aliens.
Iirc the megatron design was a thing since sometime in 2018 I don't remember in what form but they released a bit of merchandise with a megatron design surprisingly close to concept megatron
11:07 Don't any of you guys realize that that scrapped Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime design sure looks a hell of a lot like the old Michael Bay movie Optimus Prime design.
Reactivate designs make me think it's a far-future, dystopian part of the Bayverse. Bumblebee and ROTB are _still_ parts of the Bayverse as prequels. Prime/Aligned is some part of Bayverse because Rise of the Dark Spark and also because I feel like the designs fit in very well especially War For Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron. So Bayverse expands and has several parts to it, like Bumblebee getting several altmodes as he is *very indecisive* with the mode he has. Kinda like Jawbreaker (Earthspark) minus the whole "not having an altmode"-thing. Sideswipe (Aligned) came out at the same time as Sunstreaker (Movie) and, buying them together/pairing them together, I get the vibe of the two designs fitting together and being very similar yet different. Sunstreaker would, most-likely, be the taller one out of the Lambros but I think that's okay. Jazz in both Bayverse and RID '15 uses a lance-sort of weapon. Or atleast the Crescent Cannon can shift into a lance. Maybe I am crazy but all-in-all, I feel all those designs fit together well as some weird expanded universe.
0:50 NAH dude, we're coming off the back of TF One's flop, Hasbro's redacted funding for the movies, this whole AAA game being cancelled there are things to look forward to, but I'm not gonna pretend like I'm fine.
If the designs themselves are owned by Hasbro and Splash damage only worked with them, who knows, maybe they could re use this designs again but in another game, or even show
I was gonna buy the Reactivate 2 packs when they came out, then I thought, eh I'll wait, now they're gonna be expensive collectors items... but it's super sad about the game, post apocalyptic transformers would be combining 2 of my favorite things... just so much lost potential... and we haven't had an amazing tf game in years, since devastation
I just got mine yesterday, I find it funny as well. All the hype, there is this one channel that was nothing but unbridled positivity now his tone has changed and he's saying I knew it was a scam if that's the case he was lying to his followers and should have warned them.
Ngl this games death and tf one failed has really made have an existential crisis regarded my hobby, maybe cyber world will be better? But at this point the future ain’t looking bright. Although I am still looking forward to the age of the primes.
Theres literally nothing monolithic about these Bumblebee designs. Never transformed in the movie Done nothing in the movie Animation errors every second Retools of Bumblebee Low effort, uncreative, even Hasbro boosts its cope making fake concept art characters It all sucked. Such a nothing-burger especially how people act like BB wheeljack is better just because the DOTM who had an actual character and did stuff is "worse" because his design was different. GAY!!
If it makes you feel better, Bumblebee and ROTB are prequels of the Bayverse. Arcee does more than just ambush Sideways and get oneshotted in the mid of Egypt. Wheeljack in Bumblebee and ROTB - his cybertronian mode, then getting on earth and scanning a Volkswagen minibus then later on scanning a Mercedes-Benz. Bumblebee switches altmodes. Prime switches altmodes. Megatron is unseen in the prequels because he's in Antarctica. Bumblebee hits the Volkswagen because he'd experienced trauma around the time he had to scan it around the 80s. Prime goes from a cab-over-engine to a longnose truck then back to a cab-over-engine and back again to a longnose truck.
@fduranthesee I mean no doubt they are prequels until stated officially they aren't, I just think Travis Knight already sabotaged Transformers in general with this creative difference because ever since Bumblebee it's geewun after geewun slop again and again
@@alobaymaryou don’t have to like the G1 designs, hell I prefer the Bayverse designs, but you can’t deny that the Bumblebee and ROTB designs are good. Besides the people who worked on those films have stated that they are separate from the Bayverse, which makes sense when you think of it as it contradicts many key events that happen in the Bayverse
@nathankerr4219 BB and ROTB only brought Shatter, Dropkick, Wheeljack in that van mode, the Terrorcons and Stratosphere. Arcee got sexualized, Bumblebee looks alright like the excuse is he's younger, the maximals are pretty mid but Optimus looks so cringe. If transformers are brought in live action, they need to look real. The crappy CGI doesn't help nor does the lame cinematography either to sell the idea of giant robots.
@alobaymar ok, Arcee has always been sexualised, have you seen her Prime and G1 design, except for the Bayverse version so big diff, look at any franchise, you're going to find sexualised characters in most of them. Like I said, I prefer the Bayverse designs but also liked the designs from Bumblebee and, although I haven't seen it, ROTB which are a homage to G1 as many fans were disappointed by the Bayverse designs. Also what about the BB and ROTB designs aren't realistic

The price of the two packs is gonna go up after they cancelled the game
Bangers all 2025 🎉
Bro I agree with you about the concept art Optimus prime with the trailer I’ve been wanting a figure of him for a long time man 😂😂
0:50 NAH dude, we're coming off the back of TF One's flop, Hasbro's redacted funding for the movies, this whole AAA game being cancelled
there are things to look forward to, but I'm not gonna pretend like I'm fine.
If the designs themselves are owned by Hasbro and Splash damage only worked with them, who knows, maybe they could re use this designs again but in another game, or even show
The transformers meme subreddit has gone insane
What do mean?
I was gonna buy the Reactivate 2 packs when they came out, then I thought, eh I'll wait, now they're gonna be expensive collectors items... but it's super sad about the game, post apocalyptic transformers would be combining 2 of my favorite things... just so much lost potential... and we haven't had an amazing tf game in years, since devastation
My friend got this figure and it came with its arm, not attached to the body
I posted my collection on the Reddit server but I got stuck with the auto generated username, but in my post I have my name.
man i was really hoping to be able to play transformers reactivate one day now ill never be able to
Lets recreate the area 51 memes, raid splash damage studios and take some of the files so we can recreate what we have lost!
I think it’s funny that they doing anything they can to not make skids and mudflap in studio series 😂
Reactivate was going to be live service, I feel like we lost some good designs, but not a good game.
Man they look so cool and all but its pointless to have their story behind the figure. We just knows that "hey! Its bumblebee!"
At least Hasbro got a profit from selling figures that’ll never be relevant- I mean *we* got new *figures* that are cool
RW:Transformers Reactivated Bumblebee was the only toy from the game.😔
If anything these figures might go up in value because of the cancellation so I’d probably buy them now 🤣
Honestly, that's the BEST Buhbee model ever!
Shame
Leader class needs to go back to size instead of complexity
I just got mine yesterday, I find it funny as well. All the hype, there is this one channel that was nothing but unbridled positivity now his tone has changed and he's saying I knew it was a scam if that's the case he was lying to his followers and should have warned them.
No idea who is gonna buy these toys. I guess who ever thinks they look cool? Hasbro should make them based off the concept art.
Bruh sunstreaker was already released
You were fast 😭
Wow, yet another bumblebee
Ngl this games death and tf one failed has really made have an existential crisis regarded my hobby, maybe cyber world will be better? But at this point the future ain’t looking bright. Although I am still looking forward to the age of the primes.
Theres literally nothing monolithic about these Bumblebee designs.
Never transformed in the movie
Done nothing in the movie
Animation errors every second
Retools of Bumblebee
Low effort, uncreative, even Hasbro boosts its cope making fake concept art characters
It all sucked.
