TIE your hair back! Ahhh! And Gus Sha is an actual therapy, not the tool, the Chinese performed for certain illnesses, muscle aches, etc. Started probably before the Ming Dynasty, but they kept records then. They would use a stone tool (what everyone calls a gua sha) and go along the back, top to bottom, massaging into the skin & muscle, which would leave red marks on the body temporarily.
