I bought the lowest mileage 2017 Black Label MKZ on the internet in January with the 3.0 AWD Twin Turbo 400hp/400lb ft torque and absolutely love my car. It's a daily driver and people are amazed at all the options and especially how quick it is. Buy American. I only hope that Lincoln brings back the sedan from China because I would absolutely purchase another one.

We test drove a 2015 BMW F80 M3 it was super fast, with a cammed and chrome headered 04 6 speed Z06 in the garage at home, I was impressed with the 425 Hp, but the Lincoln provided 400 Hp, AWD, and 50,000 less miles, with the reported maintenance and supply chain issues we happily went with the 2019 MKZ 3.0 twin turbo AWD, Bald Eagle strikes again🇺🇸
Excellent review. I have the 2020 MKZ 3.0 AWD (400hp) in Black with the Blackout package (Monochromatic Package) and everything else except the Panarama roof. I didn't like the look. All my friends went with BMW, Mercedes, Infinity, Lexus. I wanted to be different. I too wanted something American. I fell for the styling. Whoever designed the exterior should have been promoted. Same goes for the Continental but the MKZ is so unique especially when you make your way around to the rear. The sculpting. Superb job. You can only appreciate the lines in person. I love it. My friends love it. I baby it. I'm not letting it go you hear me?!?!?! Never!!!! 😁👍

I always knew Lincoln was better than Mercedes. So I am glad you made the right choice. The only reason I drive a Mercedes instead of a Lincoln now is because I did not want to buy another Lincoln that would remind me of my old Lincoln that got destroyed in a car accident and looked just like yours 😢

I bought the same car in silver last year with 22k miles, with the addition of the moonroof, and love it. The ability to get 40MPG in a car with all of that luxury and good looks is amazing. Mine even has the massaging air-conditioned seats which really surprises my friends.
My wife uses it for Shipt grocery deliveries which means she puts a LOT of miles on it. Hopefully ours will be as trouble-free as you say.

This is only true for the hybrid. The hybrid engines were tested on Ford Escapes in NYC for taxi cab service. Everyone knows, a taxi cab service is extremely hard on cars and is a good way to shake down any failure points in the design. My prius was burning about 1 quart of oil every 1,000 miles or so. I bought the Prius with 200k miles and sold it at 250k miles for 1k more than I paid for it. The lincoln after 10,000 miles between oil changes, doesn't even burn 1 drop of oil. I keep checking it like a VQ in disbelief.
I said no maintenance, which is true. When the hybrid battery goes out, you know I'll have the first install video out there for the platform.
I had a 2017 MKZ Turbo with AWD. 400 hp. It was so low to the ground that the air dam in the front would snowplow the snow and I would get stuck despite the AWD. I got 17 mpg. Hated not having fog lights, when my low beams were on people would think I had the high beams on and flash me. I sold it after two years and got a RAV 4 hybrid AWD which handled the deep snow better.
Lincoln sedans have depreciated very quickly…so this sexy luxury car will be easy to snatch up 😍

I like the auto braking feature I have to admit I wasn’t a fan at first and I’m right here with you… more of a 3.0 turbo kinda guy the money pit is so accurate I was looking at the E53 AMG I’m still just keeping an eye out maybe even a black label continental
Lincoln’s service departments are a pleasure to deal with in my experience. Got the wife a 2018 MKZ Hybrid last year. Not much power but that’s not what these cars are for.

@@martindeleon9863 I took it down for some spirited driving down a pretty curvy highway in sport mode and it handled really well. Much better than the Hyundai trying to keep up with me.

Great video on the car, that MKZ is just gorgeous! I am really interested in one! How is the ride quality and road noise on the highway? My daily is the Crown Vic LX and that thing glides through rough roads and eats miles like no other car. I'm hoping the MKZ would be much better than my Vic. Thanks!
Wife wants to know the model of back seat protector you’re using for the dog. Not a lot of custom made things for Lincoln products. Things like window rain visors are hard to find.
Actually I'm a mercedes-benz owner and they do have hybrid versions of the C and E classes the only problem is that it's not in the American market and is only in the European market and they have really good hybrid cars
A Benz is the top of the top, not hating on them. I always wanted a Benz and will probably still get that s65 for the v12. This Lincoln has 164,000 miles now. Not a check engine light ever, absolutely no maintenance. Doesn’t burn a drop of oil either.
I’ve started seeing some of the hybrid Benz’s in California here lately, good to hear you like your hybrid. Everyone has a Benz here as I just moved to California, the Lincoln or a Ford no one has and doesn’t know what it is. I hear them walk by like what car is that? This hybrid Lincoln is a daily tank with no worries. It’s still not as nice as a Benz when you sit in them side by side, but for a Ford, America finally stepped its game up against the best; Benz.

@@MotordyneG35 I went with the c class because the maintenance cost and parts are way cheaper than the E and S class models. Since the E and S has way more tech and more expensive parts and such
@@MotordyneG35 careful with the s65 amg. V12s are nice but twin turbo V12s are money pits. I own a 2007 bmw 760li which has the naturally aspirated V12 and it's pretty reliable actually. I'm an Uber driver. While it's not as fast as twin turbo, you can do an e85 tune for not much and make it stupid fast. There's a guy on UA-cam with my car and his does 0-60 in almost 4 seconds flat and it's a 5k pound car! LMAO

The mkz is really nice. Especially the 2017 refresh. I owned a 2016 mkz 3.7 I used for Uber a while back. That thing was thirsty! Lol. Like driving an infiniti

It’s a turd, but it has 140,000 miles maintenance free now. It’s not that type of car, you don’t want to drive it hard.

Its not underpowered if you find a v6 awd 400 hp 410 lbs torque 0-60 4.8 seconds. Theyre hard to find though. Took me a year to find one. But they def get out. Worth every penny too.

You can't go wrong with Lexus. It was between the ES300 hybrid and the Lincoln. The Lexus uses Nickle in the hybrid battery vs lithium used in the Lincoln. I couldn't bring myself to buy the Lexus hybrid because the design was just too fish ugly and I couldn't find any high mileage Lexus's. The Lexus's interior was far superior, but not the exterior compared to the Lincoln. I searched the nation for a high mileage Lexus or Lincoln, which was hard to find. Especially because I will only buy black on black. I wanted the Lexus also for reliability after owning a Prius. Not going to disagree. The Prius is what turned me onto hybrids. The Prius was the only car I bought with 200k miles and sold it for 1k profit with 250,000 miles on it after.

I been buying American muscle cars and hot rods all my life, I advised my wife after research, to buy a 2019 MKZ 3.0 twin turbo AWD, its bad ass, gorgeous, reliable, luxurious, just like her, perfect car for her, or me, but I just give her tips on keeping it clean
It is very nice but I'm looking for a car that has luxury and power. That's why I'm planning on getting a 2006-ish E55 AMG

@@maudithiver it's really funny how ideas actually evolve. The idea of a two motor CVT was originally Toyota's, but the motors being side by side is a Ford development that Toyota has now adopted, because it's more compact. It goes to show that there is usually more to the story than most folks know.
There's only 2 American brands I would ever trust Lincoln and Buick. Haven't been wrong so far. Older chevy's where good but out of the new stuff the only decently reliable one I would say is the cruze.
Well you gotta think like Mercedes. Most people that buys S65 don’t work on their cars and loaded with money plus they are targeting individuals that only keeps them for 5 years and can burn cash. There’s no point to make a super reliable and high horsepower engine. It’ll cost wayy too much
Ambient lighting, adaptive cruise control all came from Mercedes. All the technology in most cars trickled down from Benz. BMW and Benz were the only 2 companies awarded military contracts during the war. Audi, the rings logo, was 4 mom and pop car shops put out of business unless they came together to go against BMW and Benz. BMW's logo for christ's sake is an airplane propeller. Believe me, I'm still a fan. Benz is always first to market with all technology and that is why their cars are always at the very bottom of the list for reliability. The story behind Mercedes Benz is to be admired, they are at the top for a reason.

I really like American cars and the Lincoln MKZ and Continental look very unusual! But to say that a car that has parts from Ford, which is a lower class, that it is better than a Mercedes is simply wrong! Mercedes is, was and will always be cooler than Lincoln. And so The MKZ is not a bad car for those who don’t want to drive a Ford.... It’s like with people who drive Lexuses, Acuras, Infinitis from which Toyota genetics are pulled out :))) Honda, Nissan-Datsun :)))

The engine works half as hard because it's a hybrid, I haven't done any maintenance in 25k miles, you never have to replace brakes on it because it's a hybrid.....
Statements that show you don't know how these cars work. Those statements are essentially false and highly dependent on how someone drives their vehicle. I also hope you have changed the oil in that thing.
Went from Benz E classes after 11 years to the 2019 MKZ reserve with 3.0 T. Few faults for me. Way too many bells and whistles in that it is engineered with so many overrides as if you were too dumb to adjust things for yourself. 2nd the AWD is front wheel bias that when you kick it down the steering wheel torques out of your hands! The Benz never did that it would track straight no matter how much you kicked it down. 3rd. is the fuel mileage . The Benz would get almost 30mpg highway over 60 mph with air on no Turbo . This Turbo sucks the gas down and most I can get is around 24-25. All in all a decent car but in need of a few refinements as in less of some things and back to non Turbo . Not a fan of Turbos but used to the 6 and didn't want to go with the Turbo 4 cylinder. Never a fan of 4 cylinders.
Ps Hate absolutely hate the "Touch Screen" a real danger and if you don't have that touch completely nonsense to use and adjust. Give me back that wheel like the Benz!
