Honestly Kate is so talented and creative she probably just boots up her game and automatically starts busting out these absolute masterpieces without even having to think about it. Her builds are straight up soooo mind blowing!

Thanks for making this. I agree that if just a couple lived here it would be overkill. In my game all the household have a minimum of parents, 4-5 kids from toddlers to young adult. There's always a butler, maids and gardener. Your places facilitate that style of play with enough gameplay objects to keep it fun for every family member. I can't imagine playing a household of one or two so -- that's just me. You make my gameplay a lot of fun and I just think you should know it.
I LOVE Mediterranean builds and I think this is pretty Mediterranean. I feel there are different kinds too; many Mediterranean style homes in Latin America for example play more with crazy colors like reds and oranges while more Italian or Spanish ones might use more neutral colors like you did.

Everything you build is just gorgeous and I totally love it. The only thing is that I wish that you would use more lots that aren't 64x64.
Thank you! :)) yes I will try to tackle different lot sizes in the future. Got a little too comfortable with the 64x64 lots recently. Big mansiosn are my brand and I love it but every now and then we need some smaller lots! :)

I'm so curious what all you'll build for the challenge. I see Beach and Rustic being in the top two choices as those are the most popular type venues. A Spooky one would remind me of The Adams Family 😄
I can see a Jungle one by a waterfall being good too.
Would be great if others could also try doing a basegame only wedding venue. You'd be like me where Rustic is your only option but there's plenty of good debug items to use 😄

Can i just ask you guys, does someone make these amazing builds from the top of their heads or take expemples from internet? I mean this is insane. Sometimes i am proud of my builds but compared to these things its like stick figure drawings..:)
I bet your builds are absolutely amazing! You can use a reference (Real to Sims), you can make up a house yourself (Create a solid vision before you start building or develop ideas as you go) or use a reference for inspiration and turn it into your own build. You can do whatever feels comfortable for you! :) For huge mansions like a this the biggest lot size and lots of landscaping goes a long way. :)

This was an educational inspiring build to watch. Thank you for such a beautiful build. I build in the sims with a ton of CC and love seeing other builders build without CC. It shows a level of thinking outside the box and to me makes me wow I wouldn't have used that object like that. Thank you for the inspiring build. Truly breathtaking results. Yes, the look I would describe as Mediterranean.
As for mansions I enjoy building them in the sims watching others build them in the sims and love having my sims live in large builds. However personally now that I am older I wouldn't want to live in a mansion. It would be too much of upkeep (granted there are servants to maintain, fix, clean, garden etc for a mansion but that isn't for me. I am so used to living in a small 1 bedroom apartment with my husband cats and fish that I wouldn't know what to do living in a house let alone a mansion.
This is a great mansion Kate. I may contribute a build or something to the sim sparked gallery challenge, but I don't care to be a participant on any of the series.

I will say my friends parents owned a ‘mansion’, and they had 2 living rooms. One was very, very nice and proper. The other was very laid back, still beautiful but more comfortable couches and dog beds. More inviting I guess is what I’m saying. They usually hung out in that laid back living room over the proper one.

28:34 I get what you mean. I feel like a lot of those houses are nice to dream about butt I wouldn't wanna live in them in reality cause I'm so used to more normal sized houses. I also would feel extremely guilty about living in such a huge mansion because I feel like they contribute to environmental problems.
