It leaks water through the freezer door gasket. The leak is at some places along the gasket and it leaks intermittantly. Should I replace the gasket or replace the entire freezer door to fix the problem? I appreciated if you would kindly answer my question. Thanks
If the gasket isn't sealing, that can cause outside air to look into the freezer which can cause moisture and frost to build up. If that is the case then replacing the door gasket will usually fix that type of problem. We had a ice maker water leak and now the freezer door is frozen shut. Any ideas besides unplugging? We have turned off the water to the ice maker and it has been over a week and it won’t open. The right side will partially open but the left side won’t open.

@@DPPatel-pg9et a clogged or frozen defrost drain can cause water to accumulate on the floor of the freezer.

Unplugging is the only solution that we know of for something like this.
What happens if the plastic hanging tab has broken off?
There is no repair other than replacing the door.
