I love the way that you broke down the entire process step by step. Makes this whole process very easy to follow and do the right way. Thanks a lot Riley! Keep the videos coming. Car looks AMAZING
When I bought my mustang it had swirls and chips. Took it to a place to get glass coated and they had my stang looking newer than new. After a few months of weekly cleaning my car still looked new and even when it was dirty it was looking better than 99% of the cars out there.
Finally.. someone who knows what they are doing. Adams is a good middle of the road brand.. I prefer CarPro but most of it has to do wit how you use it. I recommend taping off sharp edges and rubber/black plastic areas. I can see the Rookie in your polishing skills :) I would recommend The Gloss Shop Trifecta everytime you wash the car as a topper for the coating. It was designed to work ceramic coated cars and adds at extra layer of protection. The owner Richard is a really good guy who had Trifecta built from the ground up.. not a rebadge like soooo many others.
I just applied my Adams Ceramic coating and was very pleased! Like you I found a few minor spots where I didn't quite remove it all the way, but you can hardly tell. I have enough I'm able to do my other car as well. I'm very pleased with the self cleaning properties and hydrophobicity of the product. I hope it holds up.
so happy to see your channel blowing up after you bought the camaro. you legit gained like 7k subscribers since you got it. well deserved pal. I love my Scat but still watch your videos for you :)
Great video RP Productions! To help explain for anyone wondering. You are removing microns (microscopic layers) of clear coat when polishing. That's how the scratches and swirls are being removed. Wax is only a temporary fill in for those scratches. If I remember correctly most Chevrolet paint is fairly hard (v.s. Ferrari paint which is soft) so it makes sense that you had to use a MF cutting pad. Check out AMMO NYC if you haven't already. He has some great detailing videos.
Riley no wonder you switched to this beauty from previous one not the charger was bad looking but boy your Camaro is just a great looking car with superb performance for the money. I love the Transformerly robotic shape.
I work at a Chevrolet dealership in Canada and Wow man!! Your Camaro is insane !! Thanks for the videos it's been great and heres a fun fact : they sell for 60K here =D
What's up Riley I'm glad that you got the Camaro 1LE instead of the Ford Mustang. I have a friend that just bought a 2SS Camaro 50th anniversary here in town and it's pretty nice. Thank God I convinced him not to look at the Ford Mustang. As you can see from my profile picture I've had that 2006 Pontiac GTO since it was brand-new. Although deep down besides loving GM cars I also love Mopar too. Love the outtakes lol lol lol
Tino to be honest, if you're going to do it right, the supplies will cost you as much as a detailer will. I started pricing some high end stuff out plus a polisher and pads and it was going to be more than the 2 stage polish plus 10 month wax I got done at a shop. Plus, what's 6-8 hours of your time worth? That part is immeasurable. If it's a hobby, then fine but for most it's a chore to get the end result. I want my car pretty but I'd rather pay someone to do it and spend that time golfing. Plus if you screw up, you spend more supply money and time fixing it. If the shop messes up, it's on them to make it right. Just a better overall option in my opinion.
Love the videos! I just started using some Adam’s Polishes products myself and like them so far. I would recommend one thing. Buy a Astro Pneumatic 50SL Color Rendering light. It’s about $60 on Amazon. It’s the best handheld light for Detailing. It shows every single swirl or imperfection in the paint. It’s better then Scangrip and half the price. It’s one of the best investments I have made for Detailing. I plan on making a review video on it very soon.
CarPro Reload Sealant or HYDR02 shine as good as a wax but last MUCH longer. Also 6 months to a year is pretty weak for a Ceramic coating but typical for an entry level coating.. Cquartz will last 2 years or more. Finest! is very good and has a warranty and only a select few out there are allowed to be installers and only authorized installers are allowed to use the product. Your car gets registered with the company for warranty. This is what a lot of the exotics are using. My buddy always has some pretty sick expotics in his shop getting coated.
You should just let people know that doings this stuff does take a miniscule amount of clear coat off so that they dont sit there in one spot eating a hole through the paint. Im aware that the supplies you are using are very soft but the only way to get rid of scratches involves removing paint/clearcoat
Sammy Moreno Anything you rub on the clear will remove some regardless of how soft it is and how much pressure you use. A microfiber towel would leave scratch at the atomic level that you cant even see them with your eyes. Im just saying it wont really do any damage but dont sit in one spot with a wheel
I have big detailing set up at home. I'm very big into it. Have a 1LE a week away! I started watching the video, then saw your cart full of adam's products, stopped the video, will write this comment and go
I was following the Adams Polishes, but. This is my issue, I detailed for over 20 years. The issues I am having is everything I have seen them work on is "newer" unlike AmmoNYC he's proven to me that his stuff works on older daily drivers. just my 2 cents. Always easy to keep a new car clean. The really deal is a 110,000 driver
That cart's probably the only thing non-Adam's polishes lol! Great video though and I love the brand too. My appreciation for them began when they come every time to my local C&C (the biggest one in Florida in fact).
I have a trick for you. You can skip the Coating Prep if you use dishes soap for cleaning your. Because it contain some degreaser it will take off all your wax.
Not a good idea with ceramics. Depending on the condition of the paint, I will use Dawn to do the initial wash and even use it when claying the car. The problem in using dish soap just before applying a ceramic is twofold. Ceramics don't like water. The slightest bit of water can screw up the application. There are no wash mits out there as soft as the microfiber towel that you should be using to wipe the Prep. You could impart fine scratches with a wash mit. You COULD use a fine small microfiber towel to wash, but you still have to deal with the water issue. Also, the guy should be using a borderless towel at the prep stage.
Thanks for the great content! Not sure if I want to DIY or pay to have someone do it. Question on your 1le did you apply that process on satin hood wrap or do you address it differently? Thank you... love the riverside blue metallic color!
I guess you’re sponsored by Adam’s? I just bought $1,200 worth of stuff. Their new 21mm & 12mm polisher and pretty much every cleaning product/tool. Going to start detailing cars for some side money 👍🏻 i used to do it with an old Griots Garage polisher but that has a small 8mm orbit and this 21mm deal should correct much faster. Excited to see how their products do!
Hey Riley I want to polish my 2014 Camaro SS and I have all the equipment to do it now but I noticed you don't apply alot if any pressure to your swirl killer while polishing is that how I should go about polishing my entire car?
I think that you should of went more into detail about the paint correction. You could of explained your technique on polishing, doing a sample spot on the fender with tape right through the middle, and tell us what not to wear during polishing. Comparing which polish pads took more scratches and swirls out, and using a swirl light before and after to tell the difference would also be a great. It was a great video, keep up the great work!!
I bought some Dual action polisher on amazon in an attempt to correct my paint, my question is do I need to use a fancy polisher or can I just use Adam's pads and polishes to get a good job done
I have the exact same car and wanted to know how you clean and protect your hood? I bought every Adams product after aeeing this but I never know exactly what to do with my hood? I have only washed it so far
How does this compare to show car glaze? I know it protects a lot more but in terms of shine. Whats the best way to make a car shine and can you do it after this process?
In my opinion nothing beats the glaze for shine - that stuff is awesome! Honestly not sure what adding glaze on top of this would do, haven't tried it!
is this "paint correction" take away the swirl marks? and will it only last till the polish is gone after a couple rains and then be able to see them again?
drovvse I wonder how durable it is? I suppose if you kept the car long time you could have a body shop remove it and do a flat black paint job instead once it starts breaking down.
Just heard that for 2018, Dodge is supposed to produce the fastest production muscle car in the country, a Hellcat on steroids the "Demon". Your thoughts????
Great video man, did you consider getting some better lighting for when you do this? I would be hesitant to do that at night. Be careful with that satin hood, my Hellcat has that type of hood and they had several warnings about cleaning it.
Pretty dope car, you really take care of your vehicles. I was watching a video of yours a while back when you detailed the Scat Pack, how much does the full product line cost, also how much do you charge to detail?
Your a better man then me! If I were even buying a new Hyundai for say $26,000 and the paint had scratches all over I'd tell the dealer I want another car! NOT ACCEPTING THIS Nice car, God Bless n good luck
No the hood is a wrap so you really can't do much to it other than wash it normally. The spoiler and other trim items can be done with the trim coating but I just wash them normal as well to save time.
Nice video.
Tbh if I broke into your garage,I think I would steal your detailing trolley loaded up with all your goodies and leave the car behind
I love the way that you broke down the entire process step by step. Makes this whole process very easy to follow and do the right way. Thanks a lot Riley! Keep the videos coming. Car looks AMAZING

Your car came out beautifully. I ordered a ZL1 1LE and I’ll will use your process to protect my car. Thanks for the detailed video.
so happy to see your channel blowing up after you bought the camaro. you legit gained like 7k subscribers since you got it. well deserved pal. I love my Scat but still watch your videos for you :)
I like the outtakes at the end, adds a nice "human aspect" that you are just some normal guy that loves cars.
Yessir! The love for cars is what this is all about!
Great video RP Productions! To help explain for anyone wondering. You are removing microns (microscopic layers) of clear coat when polishing. That's how the scratches and swirls are being removed. Gotta love Larry!

Nice ride I have a 2016 crew cab hemi I did the same thing to it and it really makes a difference in the paint. Thanks
What's up Riley I'm glad that you got the Camaro 1LE instead of the Ford Mustang.

Love the outtakes lol lol lol
I can do all this in 2 simple steps.
1. Drop car off at detail shop
2. Pick up car from detail shop several hours later
Bonus step - Enjoy your day
This is what I honestly rather do, but not everybody has extra money to do that, or other people actually enjoy spending time detailing their car.
Tino to be honest, if you're going to do it right, the supplies will cost you as much as a detailer will. If the shop messes up, it's on them to make it right. Just a better overall option in my opinion.
Haha I feel you on that!
Great video! I think I learned a lot more than I thought I would watching this. I'm definitely sold on ceramic coating, thanks... nice ride too!

Kenneth Barbee it doesn't do anything if you don't sand the clear.
Sammy Moreno Anything you rub on the clear will remove some regardless of how soft it is and how much pressure you use. A microfiber towel would leave scratch at the atomic level that you cant even see them with your eyes. Im just saying it wont really do any damage but dont sit in one spot with a wheel
Bro you have like $1000 on that cart and I am so jealous
Yea! Been waiting for this video!
I have big detailing set up at home. I'm very big into it. Have a 1LE a week away!
I started watching the video, then saw your cart full of adam's products, stopped the video, will write this comment and go
Ya Wan Shum bye
this looks pretty easy to do honestly wow. I'm defiantly gonna do it foe the new toy when i get it
looks good, slowly convincing me to get the ceramic coating and the swirl killer
That camaro is sick! Love the color!
wow that water just jumped off the car!!! soo cool. I need that for my white 2001 camaro
I'm very impressed on how your camaro look, keep up the good work
I was following the Adams Polishes, but. This is my issue, I detailed for over 20 years.

just my 2 cents.
Always easy to keep a new car clean. The really deal is a 110,000 driver
Man ive really been wanting to upgrade into a 2nd gen CTSV coupe. The more I see your camaro, the more im considering one lol.
That cart's probably the only thing non-Adam's polishes lol! Great video though and I love the brand too. My appreciation for them began when they come every time to my local C&C (the biggest one in Florida in fact).
really great video man I've been waxing tf outta my built crew cab sierra I had just got repainted and bumpers , ceramic coating in cart now
Orange pad would have worked fine if you worked in smaller areas and worked the machine slower
Car is looking BadAss! I love that color on camaros
Congratulations on the 1le you made a smart choice!!!
Great job man. Very helpful. Loved the outtake as well.
Dude I need to just bring my car and pay you! XD
Haha I'd love to man!
iCLUTCH I
RP, Looks great !!! Welcome to the Bow Tie family !!!

Got excited when the Scatpack made an appearance Great vid!!
Thanks for the great content! Not sure if I want to DIY or pay to have someone do it. Question on your 1le did you apply that process on satin hood wrap or do you address it differently? Thank you... love the riverside blue metallic color!
How to keep your paint
1-clean your car
2-wrap it
lmao 😂😂😂
I guess you’re sponsored by Adam’s? I just bought $1,200 worth of stuff. Their new 21mm & 12mm polisher and pretty much every cleaning product/tool. Going to start detailing cars for some side money 👍🏻 i used to do it with an old Griots Garage polisher but that has a small 8mm orbit and this 21mm deal should correct much faster. You should check the BEAD MAKER. It’s the best protectant sealer on the market.
Hey Riley I want to polish my 2014 Camaro SS and I have all the equipment to do it now but I noticed you don't apply alot if any pressure to your swirl killer while polishing is that how I should go about polishing my entire car?

You are right but considering how long this video already was I decided to go the "general overview" route.
I bought some Dual action polisher on amazon in an attempt to correct my paint, my question is do I need to use a fancy polisher or can I just use Adam's pads and polishes to get a good job done
RP Production hey after putting the coating and you let it sit overnight, it's okay to leave your car outside specially if you get fog?
You actually picked your "little micro-fiber thingie" up off the gaage floor! That's something I can't get past.
Great video! Random question... are the wheels glossed black or graphite?
it's official to say that Adams must be a close relative to you, or you just a master at promotions:)
nice detail video though😎
Think he's sponsored
Cornell Daniel has to be sponsored
Cornell Daniel hell I'd take the sponsor too get all that free car care stuff
I have the exact same car and wanted to know how you clean and protect your hood?
I bought every Adams product after aeeing this but I never know exactly what to do with my hood?
I have only washed it so far
What if you get this coating on plastic trim or the windows? Is it like wax that will make the plastic look all faded out?
Did you do your wrapped hood the exact same way as you did the rest of the car? If not, what did you do differently?
looks like shmee's new auston martin gt8, except he had an orange side sket, with orange mirrors and orange rear spoiler!
About the flat black hood.... were there different steps to take or cleaners that work better on it?
How does this compare to show car glaze? I know it protects a lot more but in terms of shine. Whats the best way to make a car shine and can you do it after this process?
In my opinion nothing beats the glaze for shine - that stuff is awesome! Honestly not sure what adding glaze on top of this would do, haven't tried it!
I love ceramic coating. but 6-12 months carpro ceramic coating last two years.
What brand wheels are those, they are fantastic! Great video, thank you
I had Quicksilver Detailing down in Houston do my camaro love the coating. Well worth the money
Awesome love the color now gotta do the same to mine!! Car looks amazing!
So, I can't find your old car wash videos. I assume that you used a deionizer with the foam wash? Like Mr LethalCamaro?
Do I only need the ceramic paint coat kit? or do I also need other stuff if I want to coat my car?
How did you get the chrome piece below the LED light out to paint it? I want to get rid of the chrome and paint it black
is this "paint correction" take away the swirl marks? and will it only last till the polish is gone after a couple rains and then be able to see them again?
No...."Paint correction" is just that, it perfects the paint to remove any imperfections.
You make it look easy, great video.
Welp, Time to buy detailing kits for my Challenger. I need that ceramic coating. This rain just makes my car look so dirty.
RP Productions do you apply the ceramic coating to the whole car including rim, trims, windows etc or just the paint?
Adam's sells a different ceramic for trim & wheels so I just did this on the paint. For windows I use glass sealant!
What did you use for the satin wrapped hood and back spoiler?
Do you use this with Matt Black paint or skins? I have a 2018 challenger TA
What did you do to your hood? Is it painted or vinyl wrapped?
The Car Crazy Guy -scterka- it's vinyl, chevy does that to all the 1LE's from the factory
drovvse I wonder how durable it is? I suppose if you kept the car long time you could have a body shop remove it and do a flat black paint job instead once it starts breaking down.
Can you use the same wax, coatings etc. on the black hood wrap?
Do you put ceramic coating over the vinyl on your hood as well?
Was this a kit you bought all together or you put it together?
Just heard that for 2018, Dodge is supposed to produce the fastest production muscle car in the country, a Hellcat on steroids the "Demon". Your thoughts????
Great video man, did you consider getting some better lighting for when you do this? I would be hesitant to do that at night. Be careful with that satin hood, my Hellcat has that type of hood and they had several warnings about cleaning it.
Amazing 🙌🏼 love your 1Le bro
Looks wise, I am not a camaro fan at all but yours looks awesome!
It may be more expensive, but I would highly recommend CQuartz Finest.. It lasts up to 5 years vs 6 months.. lol
Pretty dope car, you really take care of your vehicles. I was watching a video of yours a while back when you detailed the Scat Pack, how much does the full product line cost, also how much do you charge to detail?
Going to buy before I get my 5.0 Gt
did you notice the sick s197 in the background?
Black5.0 sickest one I've ever seen
You're the best. I enjoy all your videos
Does Adam's say to though out the applicator pad for the ceramic coating after use?
Correct!
Does the ceramic coating help with bug guts on the front of the car?
I used to used Adams before, but I came across shine supply and rag company. a lot cheaper and products and materials are just the same.
noticed you laid the block you used to apply the coating on the ground.
Interesting I use a orange pad as well for my subie.
awsome video, going to this after winter.
Can you apply Americana wax/ brilliant glaze over the top of this?
Looks great man. Have you tried Strip Wash and if so what do you think of it?
Honestly never have used it!
RP Productions ياخي ترجم عربي
I like the bag of pretzel Goldfish on your cart ! I work at the factory that makes em. PS they are awesome straight from the oven :)
What is your Camaro paint code?
How many bottles are o ceramic coating is needed for a Camaro?
Awesome video man. Thanks for the information!
Did you polish the hood and spoiler, along with ceramic coating on the matte black??
Nope only did the paint. Vinyl can be tricky to work with so I left it alone.
Man I Sure Do Miss The Scat Pack🙁😔 But Now We Have A 1LE☺😄
There is a beautiful s197 mustang in the driveway that didn't get enough attention in the video sir.
Is it safe to do ceramic painting after you seal and wax your car?
Are you going to do the wheel coating kit on the wheels too?
Riley, what is the name of that detail cart you got at Walmart? looks perfect!
Your a better man then me! If I were even buying a new Hyundai for say $26,000 and the paint had scratches all over I'd tell the dealer I want another car! NOT ACCEPTING THIS Nice car, God Bless n good luck
Looks great, do you put it on the black hood and rear spoiler
No the hood is a wrap so you really can't do much to it other than wash it normally. The spoiler and other trim items can be done with the trim coating but I just wash them normal as well to save time.
Brought to you by Adam's car care products.
