Why do they even mention such garbage dulcimers? Anyone trying to learn on a cheap instrument would soon be discouraged. Some cardboard dulcimers are better. It is worthwhile to spend the money and get a quality instrument.

Having played some of these, I think this is a joke. I have played McSpadden dulcimers for years and never have a bad sounding one.
The Jenny Wiley Dulcimer is by far the best sounding and built dulcimer around and how it's not anywhere on this list is a travesty
