My PCOD is healing. Thanks for the right guidance. I have stopped taking any medications. My pranayama regime is Anulom Vilom for 10 minutes, kapalbhanti for 10-12 minutes; followed by Bhastrika, then I sum it up with Bhramari for 21 times. Peace!

I’m finally relieved to see an Indian woman talking about Yogic breathing. No shade but all i ever see are white people doing this and I just couldn’t wait to see someone from the country where Yoga originates.
Same here...a lot of Indians teach this on Indian TV, obviously, but very few teachers are on youtube.

Also you are right that there are less Indian people making yoga tutorial probably because we are busy doing it and believe in teaching live rather than online.

1. Another pranayama trainer on youtube said that the exhaled should be so slow, that even a feather should not move under your nose.
2. And is it ok for a person having sinus, to do this..

Siddharth Chakraborty that is more of an ancient training method for prolonging life and energies (prana). Plus going that slow will make you start to gain full control over the breathing apparatus. I like to think of it like this, do you want to be more active, or more calm? The tempo will help dictate this.

I wanted to say that I’ve never understood the precaution of not doing various yoga practices while menstruating. I feel like those rules originated in a time when women were treated differently/ banished for bleeding, and may not need to be followed today. Maybe I’m wrong?
Well as far as I know ayurverda says that we shouldn't force ourselves in the period because our body is struggling doing a hard cleansing and that would be overwhelming to the body.

I wonder if it’s moreso about the onset of the period, and that drastic hormonal shift (which really is hard on me physically), or if it’s about the entire week of menstruation. I often feel relatively ‘normal’ from the middle of my period onward.

Do it on an empty stomach. Water is okay, but not coffee/tea.

The first 4 minutes of this video are very ADHD. I had a hard time watching it. But after the Khapalbhati you calmed down and I enjoyed the video.

Explain more about exhaling as my throat get dried while exhaling.
Practice normal Inhalations & exhalations to begin with where your stomach inflates with every inhalation and deflates with every exhalation. Try to mentally count while inhaling and exhaling. Try to have equal length of breathing in & out. To begin with 4...6... 8 as u progress. Once u get used to it, then try out other breathing exercises. You shouldn't face dryness in your throat. Hope this helps. I am a Yoga trainer myself. Take care.
Remember to sit in a relaxed posture with your spine straight. Don't push yourself too much. It will come by and by. Patient practice will get u there.

i use this breathing method when can not go on becouse of weaknes or out of breath asspecialy going up stairs , walking up hills , biking upwords roads , wallking in shallow water to my knees close to shore . i keep doing also when finished untill turbo cools down 🏎 never knew it had a name - Kapalbhati . 63 & practicing for 8 years .

When you breath out , air goes from lungs then other respiratory system and come out of nose.
One should only keep gentle attention around norstil and just go on exhaling at medium pace at that moment of individual.
Focusing only on stomach or breath from stomach etc is wrong guidance.
