The best factory exhaust I’ve ever seen and heard in my life.
The most ergonomically comfortable bike I’ve ever ridden.

I have 15,000 miles now on my 22 Classic 350 Army Special and use it daily for work year round, zero problems, never lower than 90 mpg even though modified etc, more on my channel; Coastrider Scotland😁👍

I own a Meteor 350 and I love it. But, those Bullets are a real work of art. If they were available when I bought mine, I would have probably gotten the Bullet because of its looks alone.

Same! I bought a red Meteor a year and a half ago because I didn't like the colors on the Classic but if that beautiful Bullet was available that would have been the one! I love the Meteor though so maybe I'll just add a Bullet to my garage to keep the Meteor company 😂

I have owned a Classic 350 for well over 2 years and love the Zen like quality of the bike, the best I have owned in 54 years of riding. No changes to the engine just heated grips, bar end mirrors and touring seats, plus at first 300 mile service had a top quality DID chain fitted. 4000 miles later the chain still looks like new, just a wipe with a rag and a drop of sae 80 gearbox oil. Yesterday I watched a Glyn Owen video of his Classic Rusty Bertie, fitting a Bullet touring seat and was amazed at the difference to the Classics touring seat, so much more padding, so guess who has a Bullet touring seat on order in dark brown to go with my Halcyon Green Classic 😊
PS just forgot 4 months ago fitted Royal Enfield alloy wheels and Bridgestone tubeless tyres with right angle valves.

    Fast ?
    No.
    Powerful?
    No
Soul and character off the scale.
Had my classic for 2 years now, and it's Zen on two wheels still.
Unlike many riders, I don't keep changing bikes .
I love what I have and am not jealous of anything out there.
These J series are wonderful retros in the truest sense .

I think new riders would get bored of the lack of power too quickly.
This would suit older riders who stopped riding for a number of years. If they wanted something nostalgic and familiar to give them confidence, this would fit the bill perfectly.
    Great review Ray 👏

@@spiffybiker Thanks mate, I suppose it all depends what you’re looking for in a bike.
If you’re not worried about speed etc as a beginner it would be perfect.

riding the bullet is the total mirror of a real bullet, imho it so zen like, and brings peace and joy to the rider if ridden smoothly, smooth being the key, love mine over a year now, no issues other than a battery....good luck

Good review - I own a classic 350 same engine and it just gets better and better, especially after the 2500 km point, loosening up to give you more torque across all the gears

I bought the same Black Gold model a couple of months ago and I love it (it even inspired me to create my own UA-cam channel). I was coming back to biking after a break of over a decade, so it was the perfect reintroduction to motorcycling. Unlike you, it was love at first sight for me 🙂
Modification wise - I've added a DNA air filter and swapped out the cat for a decat pipe and I think that's about all you need to do in order to give it a bit more pep, without spoiling it's laid back nature.

@@BulletBeena That’s amazing, I just had a quick look at your channel and it looks so much better without the windshield! Maybe that’s what put me off initially.

@@thebonniebiker Yeah I'm not a fan of the windshields on these kinds of bikes - it really ruins the looks in my opinion. They're not touring bikes.

you can put the DNA air filter, Fuel X pro, and a camshaft from Hitchcock's...also a rear rack (lose that backrest) and strap a soft luggage when you need a pillion backrest sorta thing...can take the DB killer out if you don't want a performance exhaust without the decat...but even stock this is a beauty no doubt...

@@thebonniebiker will affect mileage significantly and would ruin the purpose of the bike. proceed with caution. camshaft changes will void warranty too.

    • @marshallbaldwin5060

From experience, the cam just adds some more torque in the higher speeds/rev range. Makes those sometimes required Interstate runs in the US less scary, does void warranty though😂
