SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE RECORD VERSION!! But I guess that’s often the case - I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about this song when I first heard it on those early releases But now it seems that I get the feel of it more as it were when he wrote it before all the production. I’m just so thankful now that this version exist because this will be the one I choose between the two without a doubt. God bless Foy….. This version is so perfect. Exquisite. I also heard the official version and it's something different. I'll need to listen a few more times. It touches me differently. Brilliant that two versions of a song evokes dissimilar emotions. This version grabbed my heart. Then i heard the official version and dissed it. The second time i started to recognize it hit me differently. Still grappling with how i feel but it's good. This song is becoming a warm familiar but moody friend.
I don't know why he's underrated. I saw the other version but this tops it definitely.

Because people can't see/feel anymore. I guess that's maybe good though here. Life takes the awesome musicians who are "Known" far too soon. Fame seems to comes with a cost. Micheal Jackson, Prince and so fluffing many others. I think Foy is grounded and just wants to feed his family and make beautiful music. And that he fucking does.
