I'm on my 10 or 12th listen. The joy of discovering new songs that take me deep, deep, deep into that mysterious place is inexpressible thank you Mr. Vance..

I always prefer his live versions over the original recording because there's something raw and real in the way he performs. And just a hint of silliness too 😂

Go see him live if you can because he's one of the rare artists where his voice gets pushed to 11/10 in person. I check nearly everyday to see if he's coming back to Ireland again 😅

Foy Vance one of the last folk poets of our age. Just discovering his music this is the second song I hear. The level intimacy in this live recording is haunting. This blend of folk, soul, despair and experience creates a beautiful atmosphere. I am so glad too discover this talented poet who has been hiding in plain sight this whole time. Magic in every verse. Beautiful Americana and cosmic radiance in one song. Magic begin cast

I feel like the best way to describe Foy's music is like this:
You know how at the end of a lot of different artists' albums, there's that song that gets you a bit emotional because it feels like it touches just the right spot in your heart? Imagine that for an entire album.

His music reminds us there are still storytellers and music matters.

Had the privilege of hearing him sing around a fire this summer in deep Appalachia. A kind & good man.

Beautiful!!!! Love the sound of the other version but there is something so intimate about this version. Killing it, Foy, because you're just THAT damn good! ❤️
