- from Sausalito, CA 2003 - Brick House (Commodores, Lionel Richie) - special guest Bob Weir (Grateful Dead, Ratdog, Phil Lesh, Jerry Garcia) - Joan Osborne (One Of Us, St Teresa, Right Hand Man, How Sweet It Is, Breakfast In Bed, Relish, Righteous Love...); musicians: Billy Ward, Jack Petruzelli, Tracy Wormworth, Andrew Carillo
On top of a musician's summit meeting, that girl has unreal pipes.
I saw Joan Osborne with the Dead when I was on LSD...best experience!!!!

Love Her....Great Post Thanks... H....
I love the musicians.
Check out the kiss between Bob Weir and Joan Osborne, .22 into the clip. Man, that was kind of rough, they really smacked their grills together on that one. Kind of reminds me of a football huddle at the beginning of a game. The players are all huddled together, pschying each other up, adrenaline flowing, smacking their helmets together with head butts.
Good job, my life is one screw up after the next, laughter is the best medicine.
she's mighty mighty

0:21. Are you kidding me? Weir steals a fanny pat from the great Joan. Classy move Bob.

Too many guitars!
@setboy1 LAME
Kind of a lazy laidback syncopated jam that never leaves the key of A minor! Disappointing not to hear the correct chord changes for Brick House. Even the Jam starts to fall apart after the solo then reestablishes again. Ok, so they took it and "made it their own" as Paula would say. Less satisfying from where I am sitting. Who cares the crowd loves it!!!
Good performance, it's just hard to stomach a blond tele with a sunburst gibson. Soooo Cliche'
No No No
Great job. But what gets me is these so called high flootin, message singer/ artists like Osborne used to laugh at these pop hits as trash and now they realize how great those songs were crafted and then they put their spin on them telling the public, "Hey, look how this song should be done." When Richie wrong this great song, you wouldn't catch her or any dead head listening to it, much less buying it. For my money, pop songs are better crafted and produced than ANY song ever done by the Grateful Dead or even Osborne. To put it in perspective, Ted Nugent said Abba was one of the greatest bands to ever put a record out in this world. So, all you who think you're better than pop or disco or bubblegum, get your head out of your ass and just enjoy. If it's not your type of book, turn the page!!
I like some of the things she sings, but this isn't one of them. No passion in her or the music.
