Good stuff man, next year im joining my local CheckMat bjj. Looking into gi now, so far i like Fuji, but im thinking about just doing shoyorol and kingz. Diffidently like the clean look of gi's like you.
Great review! We have a lot in common - we both like Origin and high quality gi’s with simplistic minimal design. I currently only wear Origin (have 7 now) and I fit A2 perfectly and I like their pant sizing with custom pairing. You got me very interested in this gi. I checked Ground Force’s website and I believe I’m an A2 as well. The one concern I have is the pants. On their site, A2 has a width of 56 cm which is equivalent to about 22 inches which is a 42 pant waist. This seems to be off because that’s husky size. You fit this gi well. How is the waist sizing for you? What is your waist size and what do you wear in Origin pants. I wear 34 waist size and want to make sure the pants fit me ok with this gi. Thanks
Hey, thank you for the feedback and questions, brother. The Ground Force pants fit me great. The waist and length are perfect. I've just lost some weight, so I'm a 31/32 waist size. From Origin, I have ordered the 32-waist, 28-length pants and love them. The Origin pants rest above my ankle, and the Ground Force falls right to my heel.
Thanks for the review! I live in the Netherlands, might want to get one but struggle with sizing. I always lean to an A3L size, which they don't make. An Origin gi is still in my wishlist, but difficult to obtain here.
@@Jiujitsu.pilgrima jiu jitsu globetrotters competition gi, A3. It fits well but the pants and sleeves are just a little on the short side. Same with my globetrotters travel gi. They both shrunk after washing. Have had them for 2 years now. My 4 year old tatami gi is A4 and too big.
Can you review the Hyperfly Hyperlite gi?
The one in Matrix Green on black the same as what keanu Reeves wore during his training for John wick.
I think I’m goin to get one, thanks for the reviews. Love that they’re making them in Europe.

Great review! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
It's pAra bellum since it's in Latin. Literally meaning "for war", shortened from si vis pacem, para bellum (if you want peace, prepare for war).
Thanks for the pro tip

Nice. Checkmat is a great organization. You can’t go wrong with any of the brands you mentioned.

Never heard of globetrotters. Going to look them up now
It's a community that organizes jiu jitsu weeklong training camps all over the world. They do very cool things.
Yeah they do. Just read up on them. This is great. Thank you for the recommendation.
