- Listen to how fast-talker John Moschitta, Jr. gives adjective-based, detailed-infused clues to help his partner zero in on the subject. Will it be enough to get all six in 60 seconds?
his clues were brilliant...a real Pyramid thinker!!
Who has fallen down this $25k Pyramid UA-cam hole with me?!
Me!! Love to see people happy!
@@supermom23 I don’t know what I did. A Pyramid vid showed up and I just keep going. Also, same! I love to see people win!
Me!!
Guy had about 27 seconds left for the last subject, and he needed every second.
That graphic clue was the only way he was going to get the contestant to make the flip in his brain to 'congested'. Very impressive.
Wouldn't have recognized John Moschitta. No mustache, and he's talking at a normal speed.
Great, great clues from John Moschitta, Jr.
There's an old Fed-Ex commercial with John Moschitta in it. Priceless.
Pyramid clue perfection! Hamburger onions was a great one.
for a guy who's living is talking fast, he took his sweet time.
Chest was a good one. Guy was a great player. Awesome clues!!
Excellent and very graphic clues!
The old FedEx guy did exceptionally well.
Never heard of the celebrity but he gave some of the best clues I've heard on this game!
justess martin For many years, John Moschitta Jr was the world's fastest talker...Wonder if his classic FedEx (I believe he was pitching FedEx) are available-those were great examples of his talking speed...

@@LVSignChick - I just watched the link, thanks for leaving the link! If John thinks as fast as he speaks, no wonder he was such a great clue-giver.
He was known as the fastest talker. He made a living of speaking VERY FAST!
@@LVSignChick Micro Machines too!! :)
I think I saw The Phlegm-Filled Chests live in Harrisburg, PA in the 80's! :)
Damn was he good...that's how you play this game!!
They were at near record pace through the 1st five, good thing they had all that time at the last one. The ESP was there, John's clues were brilliant. Maybe not the fastest clear time (thanks to the doozy at the top) but IMO, one of the best winner's circle playing ever.
The winner circle is my favorite part of the game. These people have a great time no doubt about it.
I was worried he had a synonym for congested in there... jammed is one, but crowded is not. Great job. :)
Actually, crowded does show as a synonym.
@@j26fremont Guess it depends on what dictionary/thesaurus. It's an old comment, and I'm guessing I looked it up back then.
With ONE SECOND to spare!
This is one of those situations where TMI does not apply.
He gave very good clues. I think didn't they were going to get the last one.
Every 80s kid knows that's the micro machines guy!
The guy giving the clues was great.
I knew who he was the second I saw him... he's the micro machines guy!!!
I wonder what happened between the 80s and today. I mean in the 80s 90% of daytime was nothing but gameshows. there were literally like 400 different airings a week. now theres only 4 a day. in the 80s there was like 30.
Audience tastes change.
At one point each network had 3-4 hours an afternoon of soaps.
Now the popular daytime shows feature four blabbermouths and a topic of discussion.
The View, the Talk, the Real
Goodbye Game Shows and Soap Operas. Hello, angry liberal women.
Isn't "crowded" a synonym for "congested" in this game?
Must not have been in their dictionary. The judge is very quick on the buzzer when you give a synonym.
This is how the game is played
Since John Moschitta said he missed winning 25,000$... he was obviously a contestant on Bill Cullen's version. I wonder what his airdate was?
If I had been Arnold Palmer, I would have been offended.
being descriptive without the nono of the preposition
I admit it -- I had to look John up and see who the heck he was. : )
That was scary
Amazing clues
Brilliant clues
Excellent clue giver.
Excellent clues!!!
Phlegm filled chests. Ewwww.
The contestant looked like the celebrity.
Things that are sliced: how about onions??
Wow amazing clues
DAMN! THAT WAS CLOSE AS HELL!
Masterful clues.
Come on John, this should have been over in 8 seconds 😄😄😄
Was it just me, or did *"The $25,000 Pyramid"* look kinda crooked on one side?
How many game shows do you hear the phrase phlegm filled chest?
So close!
Are your Pyramid clips taken from the original broadcast master tapes?
Are yours?
The Howard Cosell clue didn't age well
You have to be a real golf fan to get "sliced" from "Arnold Palmer's golf ball". Actually, Palmer's ball faded. My ball slices.
Between “a golf ball” and “hamburger onions” what word could describe both?
That’s how you give good clues.
I'm surprised he didn't get buzzed for being too descriptive on the last one...usually they were real anal about that on Pyramid.
Maybe because he was listing but not being too descriptive.
"Phlegm-filled chests" is fine because it is the item. The difference between that and "Chests filled with phlegm" is that the latter says the thing ("Chests") and then describes the thing ("filled with phlegm"). It's sort of like the difference between "A computer's directions" and "The directions to a computer" (setting aside the use of the prepositional phrase)
I thought the same thing, I guess the judge didn’t hear it
Congested and crowded are not the same thing.
Wow
why does it say 25K?
If you win twice in the same episode, you win $25,000.
Hypenated-answer givers.
Phlem filled chest!
FAIL
Wow
