I do not cook that much at all, but I will admit, I just discovered your videos and with how delicious each meal looks, it tempts me, to want to cook!! I absolutely love that in your videos you really show your passion for food. It is genious and so helpful for everyone that you plan out a whole menu, and basically a whole dinner party itinerary as well!! This is what makes me want to cook. You make things look very easy and I for once feel capable of doing this. For that I thank you!

Beth I love you videos & recipes so much I’m digging into old episodes. Keep these beauties coming they are entertaining on one side, your stories & comments , also full of cooking information tips & advice.
Hi Beth wishing you all the best for you and the family. We have enough recipes to keep us going until you are up and running. We love you take your time stay safe happy cooking.
Aw thanks! I love receiving comments like this. Cooking and entertaining can be one of the greatest joys in life! And it doesn't have to be hard. It just takes practice :) And that's the best part, every day provides 3 new opportunities to try a new recipe and hone your skills! Stick with it. Food made from scratch will always taste better, is healthier for you, and most of the times less expensive too. So there you have it, 3 great reasons to fall in love with your kitchen :)
Just made the chicken for dinner tonight along with mashed potatoes, corn & peas. This was awesome and I definitely won't be buying BBQ sauce again when I can make my own.
Well, in a pinch yes you could. But frozen berries retain a lot of moisture, so when they cook they can make your crumble runny. To help prevent that, thaw the berries in the microwave (or pop in the fridge overnight) and then drain any excess liquid. I would also add a extra tbsp of cornstarch to the recipe as well, that will help soak up any of the excess moisture as well. Enjoy!

I think I'm going to try making that BBQ chicken now. I really do love these videos, it'd be great if there were menus for anniversaries, valentines day, etc...
Yes!! You can use wax paper, I use it when baking cookies. I have been baking for 40 years and never had a problem with it catching on fire, AND the wax does not come off onto the baked product. It is also less expensive than parchment. I have used parchment also, but that was mainly at work when I was in Food Service and worked in Restaurants where they can afford to buy it in bulk. Wax paper is a good alternative when you are on a budget.
I love biscuits and I definitely know the KinCommunity recipe works and is delicious. I asked my Mom after watching this how she got her buttermilk biscuits to be so super fluffy and full of yum and she told me that you absolutely have to avoid using a rolling pin or else you will overwork it and get heavy biscuits. Use your hands only to gently pat and fold. You have the option of doing drop biscuits if you don't want to use a cutter. Hopes this helps those who are wanting buttermilk too. :)
Just discovered your channel from Laura Vitale and I LOVE it! Its clear and easy to follow great atmosphere and great work spaces and of course excellent ideas!!
Wow Beth, you are really good! I'm surprised you don't have your own TV show. I love the format and the food - the presentation is new and really watchable:) I'll be watching out for you on Australian TV cooking channel - it's only a matter of time I'm sure. Cheers, Donna
Beth you are amazing ,I made the biscuits they are delicious.I have just little problem some biscuits did not grow straight. Thank. I am you fan # 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This looks like an amazing meal. I was wondering if y'all had a recipe for flour-less chocolate cake? Everyone I have tried never comes out like I want it too and a video would be nice to follow :D Have a great day KIN Community!!!
Funny you should ask. I spent a lot of time experimenting between All Purpose and Self-Rising (self rising has baking powder and salt already in it) and the verdict is: All Purpose works better! Try them, you'll be hooked! :)
Hey Beth I cant wait to make this it looks delicious! By the way, for the potatoes is it okay to rinse them? I thought that rinses off the starch which I thought was bad. Ha I might be wrong but just wondering. Great work as always :)
Tough biscuits happen when you handle the dough too much. The buttermilk isn't the reason. I am from the south and buttermilk is what my mother has always used and the result is always light and fluffy. I love your vids and just subscribed!
Yes. I tried doubling it to make 12, but it just didn't work because of all the butter. It turned into a slimy mess! LOL! So really it's better to just make the recipe twice, and power through it. It's not that hard, and trust me the results are worth it! :)
Hi, I see an Anchor Hocking glass jar from Target in your kitchen and I would like to buy the same. Can you please tell me wich one do you have, is it a 1 or 2 gallon? PLEASE TRUMB UP SO SHE CAN SEE IT.
Aw thanks :) Aren't those biscuits insane?! LOl! Next time you can pop them in the fridge for about 10 mins before baking and that will help them stay upright :)
When I'm bored instead of watching a movie or TV show I watch one of this episodes (even though I already saw them)
I love all your tips and tricks!! My favorite part..."The Game Plan"!!! It's SO helpful. Thanks Beth! You're my favorite!
OMG!!! AMAZING COLESLAW! THE BEST I EVER HAD!!!

Nope, experimented with that too, and it's better with salted butter. Land o Lakes, although more expensive, really does taste better. Enjoy!
