So you prefer a 150k to give you breathing room? Im passing a 50rn on topstep and have several funded on apex
I just prefer trading bigger lot sizes which is why I go for the $150ks. Also yes the bigger DLL does help but it still isn't big enough to comfortably trade 15 lots. Congrats on the apex accounts those are tough to get funded and get a payout on.

Yes you need to pay taxes but it's as a topstep 1099 contractor not a trader. But I don't use wise so I don't know

I see you have multiple express accounts. Do you trade them separately or they are connected in a way that when you trade with one of the express account , the other is affected too? Or just separate accounts
I copy trade all 3 at the same time. Whatever I do on one account happens in the other 2.

Could you doa video about whats after you passing the challenge like , what documents they need to verify you and all. In your withdrawal form I cant see a place to put your bank details. how do they know which accounts its going to ?
That all comes via email afterwards. It's pretty straightforward just follow the steps in the email 💯

Yes and you need to fill out a W9 form as well.

Hmm not sure what you mean by load image of ACH. Might be a bug. I'd contact topstep support, they are really good about answering all your questions.
Where did you put your bank information? I just took my payout aswell but I went thru the exact same process as you and I never gave them my bank information did they email you?
Yeh they email you all the rest of the steps. I already had done it with my previous payouts so this is all I needed to do this time.

Yes. Tradovate and quantower have copy trading software built in

Doesn’t topstep have a 30% consistency rule so your biggest day can’t be more than 30% of your withdrawal
Nope. Only consistency rule is on the evaluation. 50% on your biggest day.
Just an idea. I have 3 accounts and trade a max of 5 per account. Which is 15 accounts in total but with very little risk of hitting max loss. I also trade 150k accounts total of 450k

Which broker did you chose on top step to copy trade?
Tradovate now because the copy trader is much faster than Quantower. With quantower there's a little delay on the copy accounts than the main account so I ended up taking a $1000 loss on 2 accounts while the main account was up the $1000. It's rare but after that and latency issues with Quantower I'm finding Tradovate is the better option. Going to try Sierra Charts soon as well to see if it's any good.
7:40 I wish the DLL was adjustable on TS so I can set it to 4k. Many many times, i'd get DLL'd on TS but my APEX PAs kept running on the same trades. Very frustrating.

Yeh the 3k DLL is way too hard to trade with 15 cons. In the new live account I'll probably get I'm going to need at least a $7,500 DLL to be able to actually trade lol

why do u need more then 3k DLL ??? . your size is way too big and or your wrong on the trade .just get out when wrong . live to trade another day . people are using there DLL as there stop . that's just crazy
15 lots on es is 1 point makes 1k so if u can catch 100 points on es a day with 15cons thats 100k a day or if u use 15 lots and catch 25 points thats 25k a day because its 1k a point
I'm just not a fan of ES for some reason but I am willing to try that strat at some point tbh.

I'm from the US yes but I'm in South Africa right now. Top step is in Chicago with no unrealized profit drawdown so I use them.
I support you in your goal… other ideas might be to use additional prop firms…
Tried others and am not a fan of them. Unless there's one without an unrealized daily draw down that I don't know of yet.

Standard tax rates for 1099 contractors apply. Nothing special but I do it through my business so I can write off the combine costs, algos I buy etc. Highly recommended to put it through a biz if you have one.

@@HerbSoolLLC it's just standard tax rates. It all depends on state/country etc. Would be hard to make a video about that but maybe I'll do one on how to set up a business for trading. Good thinking
honestly its great to have access to all that capital but you get taxed as self employed independent contractor at the end of the year. You will pay 15% more on taxes vs if you just traded futures on your own private account. Futures trades get taxed less than other securities and you dont have to pay self employed income tax if you just do it yourself.
You can run it thought a business and write off expenses. Not to mention the risk is significantly lower with the power to trade a lot of capital. If you blow an account your down $150 instead of the $4,500 of their money you lost with the potential to make tens of thousands. I do both but prop firms are a game changer if you can adapt to their rules.

Ach took one day for me that time. Wire will probably always be faster though. Longest it took for a payout for me was 4 days.
