You're not doing anything wrong. I think it's already discounted 60% off. Topstep just worded it in my dashboard to make it sound like an additional 60% on top of the discounted price. I figured this out when I tried to use my friend's code.
whatever conclusion you come to from daily bias, look for h4, h1, and m15 points of interest that support this idea. Then only look for trades when price enters those specific areas.

Yes, you will pay the fee every month until you either pass or cancel. When you pass, you pay the activation fee once and there are no more costs after that. Good luck with your trading!

So does that mean we only are making 50% and not really 90% or can we withdraw the other half on the next withdrawal to them reap the 90% of profits made?
You can withdraw after 5 trading days where you made +$200 in profit. Then, the process repeats again. Once you reach a total of 30 days where you make +$200, then you can withdraw the full amount.
Love this video . Moving from FX to Futures and this video helped me out a lot . Would one contract be enough to trade with if I risk 1% on lets say on a $50k account and with a stop loss of 30 ? idk what you mean by a "stoploss of 30". The way I calculate risk on a combine/eval is by dividing my total drawdown by 10. Which means 10 wrong trades in a row before I fail. So for the 50k account: $2,000/10 = Max $200 risk per trade or maybe per day would be even safer. It's a lot more percentage wise, but Futures Prop Firms are much cheaper than FX 😅
Hey so I have a question with the top step acc. So since ur playing monthly say u were to blow the acc, are u able to just start again or do u have to pay more?
you either can pay for a reset OR you can just wait until the monthly rebill where it will charge you again and reset the account for you if it's blown. I don't recommend resetting if you are close to the bill date tho. Just cancel the account and buy another combine.

The max position is for each individual trade. However, once you get funded there is a scaling rule. You start out with a max position size of 2 lots until you build a buffer.

For most of these trades, yes. I always perform a top-down analysis before entering a trade. There are a few trades in here though that were counter-trend, but they were only supposed to be quick scalps.

@@RiteshKumar-jh9be yes, I have 50k funded accounts in Apex and Topstep. Before, they didn't let you trade over 2 micros at the start on Topstep, so I just used minis. Their new rules let you start with 20 micros now with TopstepX, but I usually trade with 5 micros.
It's the New York open. There's good volatility, and during this time price tends to choose a direction. I get out before 12pm because it's usually choppy or rangebound until after 1:30pm. After 1:30pm is good too, but by then I have already taken my trades.
Wasn't ICT proven to be a fraud though? They caught him faking his statements, forgot to put a minus or something, and found his real trades and he lost like 97% of his account or something. I keep hearing about stuff like FVG working, but then I hear he came up with it so it's like conflicting info here... is the guy legit or a scammer?
I've separated him as a trader from his concepts so idk if he is a fraud or not. And at this point in my trading I don't care enough to find out lol. I just know that his concepts work for me and many others.

They get too emotional, revenge trade, etc. Also I learned recently the importance of money management and getting the stop/loss on instantly. I had the atr go way up and realized I was losing my last like 8 profitable trades with 1 loss, and also I had the candle going way up like a breakout and plumet down before I even got my stop/loss on. So it is possible that the concepts work but he just sucks at the rest of it. Like a great song-writer that can't sing, well sort of lol.

I noticed you were a bit panicked with stoploss movement during trades, you backed off your stop because you were afraid you might lose a potential "higher winner" like in August 4th example. Other than that, really nice, i wish i could have traded confidently with this much leverage. But yes, i do not allow myself to enter with more than 2 micro at a time, however i sometimes enter twice if i see there could be a bigger move upword for couple dozen points. Micros are here to allow myself for potentially more trades per day and not to lose so much money (capital preservation) on occasionally badly set stop loss or bad entries. Anyway you have your edge and you should trdade your edge instead of mine, so this is just opinion. Cheers.
Capital preservation is the key. I backed off that stop because I was down -$2,000 from the day before. I wasn't mentally all the way there, so that played a BIG role in me getting out early. Also, I trade micros as well on any account 50k or under. Cheers!
