    Some interesting BDCs are MAIN, ARCC, BXSL, HTGC, FDUS, TRIN, SLRC, ORCC, and CSWC.

    There is also PBDC which is the Putnam BDC income ETF. It is actively managed.

    I saw a video showing that BIZD really lags behind BDCs like CSWC, HTGC, MAIN, and ARCC in 5 and 10 year total returns.

    Another option is VPC. It is an ETF that holds BDCs and CEFs.

      yeah but it focuses on a particular asset class , so i cannot really consider it an "all in one" but hey it could be a good ETF

    I think you should make a video on ETNs vs ETFs! A lot of ETNs have insane yields like USOI. We can Google but your unique insight as someone who invests into both would be very valuable.
    Most other investors on UA-cam and online state that ETNs are too risky and not a good idea which I think isn't fair on ETNs.

    • @PassiveIncomeInvesting
      @PassiveIncomeInvesting  Рік тому +1

      maybe.... not much to talk about, they work the same way pretty much but ETN's is simply a "debt"

    • @molten_ice
      @molten_ice Рік тому

      @@PassiveIncomeInvesting so for me it's understanding when there's real risk in losing money. I think if you buy it too high if they decide to early close the ETN you will lose a lot as they will only pay the value of the underlying asset if I understand that correctly. Basically I have no idea on what's a fair price I should buy one of these where I won't lose money even if they decided to early close it the next day.
      Another confusion I have is leveraged ETNs, at time of maturity or if they close earlier, will they pay the value of the underlying asset or the value of the underlying asset plus the leverage?
      Sorry if my questions seem completely weird but yeah ETNs are a new beast to me haha

    Hi Adrian,
    In Canada we have Alaris Royalty and Diversified Royalty which are similar to BDC in my opinion. They call themselves royalty Corps but essentially they finance small and mid size businesses and help the grow. Im the US BDCs are more in numbers and mature. What are the risks of investing in BDCs or BDC ETF? Is the high dividend yield sustainable?

    • @PassiveIncomeInvesting
      @PassiveIncomeInvesting  Рік тому

      Yes I owned both of those in the past . Risk is honestly subjective to each person
