- You're asking, "Can You Use Inflatable Hot Tubs in Winter?" or "Can an Inflatable Hot Tub be used in Winter?" The answer is YES! But you should also be asking, "HOW do you keep your inflatable hot tub warm in the winter?"
In this video, we're going to cover all that and more as we put these things through the winter test and figure out what works and what doesn't.

Have my Relxtime 4-6 person coming. Guess I need to order the bladder cover.
Excited been obsessively watching all of your videos. I ordered a four person tub, but just switched for a six person tub. After seeing numerous comments about size we are setting it up this week. Excited to see this new winterizing video. Definitely want to winterize based in Atlanta, Georgia with tub in my garage we will set it up this week - - We equipped the garage with mini split and we also insulated the garage doors and dehumidifier There for additional room comfort! You guys look like you have so much fun testing out these hot tubs . What a life best wishes and happy holidays to you and your family!
Thank you for watching! Good call getting something bigger. They take a little longer to heat up, but are so worth it! We have a lot of fun looking at these different hot tubs. Happy holidays and thanks for following :)
Where did you get the extra heater from and what kind is it?
great question! Here’s the link for it! amzn.to/4akDeLs
@@TubTalkReviews thank you very much! I have a 6-8 person and it can struggle at times to hold 104. I want to help it out a little bit.
I got a saluspa san francisco pro. Bought the same submersible you have. I live in michigan so i also bubble insulated the sides/ insulation board for the top. Went in last night. The temp "same temp reader you have" said 109 lasted 2 hours with bubbles and jets before it hit 97
Thanks for sharing!! Hope you are happy with those results.
@@brendangreene9351 please remove or unplug any electronic items that are in contact with water before touching the water . Peace and love !
Did the Relaxtime tub hold its heat in the cold after getting up to temp?
Just wondering what you think of the newest rigid foam portable hot tubs?
We have not yet tried these! We hope to get our hands on this soon, this sounds amazing.
With the hot tub in the garage, what do you do about the moisture?
I thought this would be an issue, and so far it hasn’t been at all. There really is no additional moisture buildup. We live in the Midwest, where it is already very humid. The addition of the hot tub hasn’t seem to affect our garage at all.
What about moisture in the garage ?? I want to put mine in the basement for the winter .
I have one our garage. Never had an issue with moisture in the garage.
We've never had an issue with moisture in the garage but if you're still worried about it, we recommend also purchasing fans and a dehumidifier-- that helps with any moisture that may build up.
I've had mine in my garage for 4 years now with zero issues. If you want to run the jets I do recommend opening any and all doors in your garage for adequate airflow from the steam.
@@sebastienlinck4908 awesome , thank you
As an electrician, be very careful plugging that heater into an extension cord over night. You should be using a 12 awg extension cord. Yes they're expensive, but its cheaper than a burned down house.
Thanks for the advice! I don't know if you can see it in the video -- but I believe that is what we used. We've definitely switched to using those by now if we weren't at the time this video was recorded.
I live in canada 20 is warm af for winter lol
