Dallas resident with 212 wins. Just do a little footwork to low occupancy showcases. and swap out your applicants at 7:58pm to winning results to maximize your yield. Also learn to recognize other predatory trainers and avoid them. Especially if they have that Pikachu displayed today as they likely have a 3000 point Zekrom just waiting to swap in.

I loved how for sinnoh tour they did in fact reset every hour for the habitats. It was nice for the extra Chances at encounters. 😊
Hi Zoe. Played casual with my daughter today. She got 15 shinies and completed all the families and I managed 12 shinies to do the same. Plus a shundo Joltik. Very happy with the event.😊

What will it take for Niantic to change the egg pool ffor 7k eggs? I don't even want to open gifts because I'm so tired of getting nothing but the sane 3 or 4 pokemon over and over. I don't think it's been changed in at least the last 2 years.

if i win today's showcases i am at 100 wins. so fingers crossed it happens today haha. im not super super rural. i live in a small town in the netherlands where everything is close anyway. but for some reason i manage to win often here (3 to 5 players per showcase here)

I really wanted the tasks to reset hourly too! I got 7 shinies and a hundo from walking around my town; one of each of the research shinies and 2 spare electrikes and a hundo chinchou

For the global sinnoh tour weekend pokestop tasks did reset hourly. I played from home and i got a new task every hour from the pokestop i can reach from my house
I noticed this too on the sunday! Wish I knew on the Saturday I was "tactically" waiting for the habitat I wanted to do the research across the 50 odd stops near me, but turns out the were resetting hourly!
yeah was pretty good it's raining over here in NZ so i just did a casual hour and got 2 joltic, a chinchou and an electrike which was pretty awesome for just a casual sesh no hundo's though really wanted a hundo joltic because my first hundo was an ariados and now i want a team of spiders araquanid is the other one since their all pvp relevant.
Out of 289 total checks I did today (54 of them Joltik), not a single teeny weeny spider was sparkly, but I did get a handful of everything else:
7 Helioptile
8 Blitzle (The other one I was gunning for! THANK GOODNESS!)
5 Electrike
4 Chinchou
1 Voltorb (Wild)
I can't be upset with this haul. And anyway, Joltik will come back someday (hopefully boosted again) in another event. :)

I got 15 shinies, 13 were from Pokestop tasks and 2 were full odds wild encounters, Plusle and a Grimer -which I got like 30 seconds after the event ended though ,still counts to me haha- I also chose Joltik because when it was released I kinda didnt read the news properly and didnt know that it could be shiny so I havent clicked on a single one back then and thus still needed that shiny. I should read the news more properly but I hate clicking on a link to continue reading anything, so I skip the detailed news alot of times haha..

It was so bad.. said If you bought the ticket you would have the same Shiny rates as the ones in reasearch task.. so i went out in -5 celcius with RAIN and caught about 300 Pokémons and got 3 Shiny😢😢😢😢😢

I have to work a 12 hour shift. I won’t be paying for a ticket I won’t be able to participate in. If Niantic weren’t such heartless cads, this research wouldn’t expire. What is wrong with doing this at a later date when the numerous pokestops required at a different location can be attained?

Bro I couldn’t experience it because it was literally burning hot today so I was only outside for like 25 minutes before the heat was legit making me sweat every 3 seconds the only thing I got was a hundo helioptile I didn’t even get any shiny’s

Suppose have three special researchs.
First special research focus about Poipole and Naganadel.
Second special research focus about Stakataka and Blacephalon.? Although possibility that Stakataka and Blacephalon will region locked UB.
Third special research focus about Cosmog and Necrozma.? This is during upcoming Solstice event. We have at third Cosmog this time. Necrozma play antagonist role to Solgaleo and Lunala.
I had a migraine and slept through the event... played the last 10 mins. The stop I can reach from my house didn't have any event reseach. There were like 3 pokemon around, none shiny (didn't really expect them). I had planned to play but forgot about it (plus, I needed to sleep) because I wantedashiny helioptile. Oh well.
I'm so glad the events start for you before ours do in the U.S. It just tells me if this event is any good or not.
I did some in center city Philadelphia PA...not one shiny (as usual). Only good thing about yesterday was that I got a shiny shadow Raikou when I was up in New York City earlier...
It was nice to be out with okay weather (NL) and I did catch 8 shinies (2 chinchou, 2 electrike, 2 joltik, 1 blitzle and 1 lickitung) but I am a bit disappointed not to get the one shiny I was aiming for, not even from the timed research chain; Helioptile
I played all 3 hours. Caught 6 shinies: 3 Electrike, 1 Helioptile, 1 Chinchou, and 1 Joltik
During Galar tour first day, Shiny Zarude will be debut. Kurfu will appears tier 2 raid battle and can be shiny for the first time.
Second day Galar tour all Giganmax and Dynamax will appear as raid boss.

I managed to pick up two shinies which was not bad since I was unable to grind the whole event because the Nrl was back on.
The game needs breathing or something or it needs to start bringing back regionals

Got 18 😎 the secret is to only do the easier ones and then return for the rest, so you can encounter as many as you can in 3 hours. I did my entire city which is formed of 2 big routes.
Got 1 of each with a bonus joltic, pleased with that.
3 shinys caught and out of nowhere i got poipole 100% thats super rare but is it any good?

sinnoh tour had research rotate on the hour even if you did the task from that stop on the previous hour. niantic not doing it this time was a choice
