Mari, you made me laugh in this video. Your editing skills are so good. I look forward to seeing your remake of that little pink top next year. It is so cute. And I love that Know Me pattern and your fabric choices. That’s going to look so nice.
Love the black and white fabric combo. I am sure it will be stunning set. Sorry the pink top didn't work out. Great idea with trying it as a swimm top. Can't wait for dress a girl
Thank you so much for showing us a big fail. Too often it seems that every project "works" It would be interesting to try it next year, I think you could rock it Love the know me fabric pair
It’s easy to show the things that work out but I like to show it all because that’s really what happens in every day sewing. I really think I’ll try to turn the pattern into a bikini top next year. At least I’m excited about my next project. Those two fabrics are going to be fun to wear
@@MariSews Bikini top! great idea. And my teenage daughter wants a new bikini. I was envisioning it as a 30s meets 70s Beach Pajama thing. I think Jaclyn Smith wore something like it in Charlies Angels...Can't wait for the two color outfit...
Mari, you are too funny! 😊 Yes, Ummm Too Small. The Know Me pattern is cute. Sheree Thomas and Talisha made that recently. That will look great on you.😊
The black & white fabric will look fantastic for the pattern you chose. So sorry the top didn’t work out. I went through a night mare on hemming today. I guess we all have those days but like they say take a break and then get back up on that horse.
That black and white combo is going to be lovely. My dresses for dress a girl is really coming along. I think making the popover dress reversible should be easy to do.
For dress a girl older girls are there recommended lengths? I see lots of little girl dresses and I wonder about bigger sizes and lengths that are culturally appropriate. Is there a need for plus sized girl sized dresses or the other end smaller but longer ? I think a lot end up in the 3-6 size range and I’d like to sew towards greatest need
The greatest need are sizes 8-12. The recommended length is bottom of the knee or longer. These kids tend to be slimmer so don’t worry about plus sizes.
I would so love it if you could do a video on how to do a Full Bust Adjustment on patterns. My middle daughter is larger in the bust then anywhere else and I'm scared to make her tops. Thanks.
Is there a style, size, sleeve length, fabric that would be the most popular? I’m thinking about an a-line dress with a ruffle sleeve that would hit mid arm. Does the organization get mostly dresses for the youngest girls? Love your makes, sewing room and most of all your sense of humour. There’s a pink organizer hanging on your wall that I would love to find? Where did you get it? Sew many questions.🤣
The most needed sizes are 8-12. Style doesn’t matter, sew what you like as long as there are no fastenings. The organizer is a show organizer from Amazon. 😁
That outfit you're wearing is so fantastic! It makes me smile. 🧵I really want to make the Know Me pattern - but the largest size is just short of my measurements. Let me know what the ease amount is! I think your version is going to be adorable. I'll totally participate in the reversible challenge. I was planning on making that popover dress anyway, in fact I printed it out today!
Please tag me on all your dress pictures @marisewsforcurves. Unfortunately Instagram no longer shows all dresses in the hashtag anymore.
I love your honesty and humor!
Thank you!

Hi Mari...the Knowme pattern is so popular. Your fabric choice will be perfect. Sorry about your boobalicious top...I have the same issue. 😂
I’m happy someone understands my issue! 😂😂😂
Love the black and white fabrics. It's gonna turn out great!!
Thanks! It’ll be a fun set that can be mix and matched with other things. I’m excited!
That fabric is pretty for that top that didn't work out for you.
I’ve got a whole bolt of that stuff so I’m sure you’ll see it again
I'm in for the UA-cam challenge
Which day do you want and I’ll add you in!

Made a peek a boo top- same thing , made all the adjustments BUT - NO NO No
Yeah, peel a boo in a top isn’t a good look
I’m willing to do your September spot if you want me. You mentioned it in a comment. Let me know best way to reach you and what you need me to do.🤗
Please send me your email and I’ll shoot you the details when everything is settled.
QUESTION!!!! Will we need to add a label to BOTH sides?
Good question! I say yes if you have it, otherwise don’t stress
Could you add a strap near the ring to help?
I could and that would be a cute design element, but it’s already been trashed.
Yikes! That boob spillage isn’t a good look at all.😳🫤 Glad you decided to scrap that tiny top. Love your new project color block fabric.
Yes! That top was a disaster
