I think Mason is a young bad ass !! He's learning from the Best and learning a sense of humor at the same time ! Young guys learn better in that environment !! Great mentors guys !!
Watching Mason grow in confidence and competence, taking part in the jokes rather than being the butt of them and seeing him shine is one of the most gratifying aspects of watching these videos. That young man is going to be an asset to wherever he ends up working. Regards to all at C&C from Scotland.
With one track on backwards does that mean we have a rabid Deere? (runs around in circles). I know, I know - already got my coat and slamming the door on my way out fighting off all those tumbleweeds.
hi all just to say if it was not for dirt perfect buying the first or his 850js from you guys i would have not found your channel so glad he did you guys have the best content on here please keep doing what you do super content thank you 👍👍👍👍
Looks like the track is on backwards, but between bad eyesight and watching on a cellphone it could be me. 😂😂 Looks like the basket case is coming together and you didn’t need another inoperable machine to make one out of two.
That 850J was more than likely used as a training tool for A.I.T. training, our instructors would cannibalize equipment like that for training purposes when I was stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood in Mo.
I want to say one of the tracks is on backwards. But I thought it was the one you were working on , but thought I was wrong because you would have caught that. 🤷🏼♂️ Nome Alaska / Arctic Mining
Just have to say, these are great videos. Clint does great narration so you follow along on complex issues, Kevin is the comedic relief and you always have a guest appearance. Plus, it’s working on heavy equipment. Keep ‘‘em coming!!
I sure hope you caught the fact that that track was on backwards and fixed it off camera. Oh well if you didn't. Edit: I guess you must have considering I bet that's what you were talking about in the end card. I noticed it when you were hooking the track back up after replacing the final and then it was also pretty obvious when you were driving it out through the gravel for the first time and one side was leaving a trail a bit more. That's because when the tracks run backwards they actually tear up the ground more than when they go forwards. Because the grouser is lifted out of the ground before the link starts to rotate around the sprocket. When the tracks are running opposite, the growser is still buried in the dirt as the link rotates around and it digs a little pocket of dirt up.
track is on backward been there done that me and mechanic i wont name as he ask me not to say any thing about it . since its been 22 years on a D11R carry dozer. nice work getting outher peoples mess turned into nice running machine👍
Poor Mason, with regards to the air hose seems like he copped a dose of "We're not saying it's your fault we're just gonna blame you" his equanimity is impressive for a youngster.
That 850J is a beast! If it’s broke, the C&C Crew can fix it! Taking an 850J from trash to treasure! Great job y’all! Take care and I’ll see ya down the road…
See I knew Clint made a good purchase!!!!! He's kinda done this a few times folk's!!!!! Plus he had all my harbor freight tools!!! 🤣😂😜👍Have a blessed weekend Mr. C & Mrs. C!!!! Keep up the good work boy's, Kev and team!!!!! ❤❤
It must feel great to take a parts store, a few thousand $’s and end up with what is looking like a near new 850. By the way, IMHO, CK’s 555 backhoe must have had good bones to do the work it does on a regular basis after some impressive back yard restoration/repairs/TLC by the Captain…..
Didn't notice the track till the end of video. Thanks again Clint for another great video. Mason seems to be a good young man. Always quality content from C&C EQUIPMENT.
Hello Sir! It's very intresting & informative when you say the price of part fore us working outside USA like for me in Sweden, beacuse that are absolute not the same in Sweden as USA! Thanks from Peter Eriksson Sweden Europe 😊😊😊! One meachanic age 40, with 15 years experience i pay around 3 800 UsD per month and 5 weeks paid holiday. Fore the shop manager around 5 000 UsD per mont + some bonuses.😊😊😊
Mona Lisa finally made an appearance. Didn’t see a smile. Did hear some complaining, which was reassuring me the fame hadn’t gone to his head. Love that boy. He reminds me of me when I was his age.
Clint, it’s impressive and as I said right off, you guys would have that dozer running. Minor issues to fix then off to paint. Probably already have a buyer for it. This is why I love watching channel, for the challenges get into.
Unless the tracks on the 850's in the older vids are on backwards too, I actually think it is the one they worked on. Full disclosure: I am only looking at videos from my arm chair:)
T time I ever had a complaint about your content. I love you guys. Love the interaction between everyone in the shop. I'm glad to see, family all working together. BUTT. I really don't like the spoiler of seeing the end result at the start of the video. Thanks for the entertainment. My favorite UA-cam channel.
Clinton Kevin and Mason awesome video! I didn’t realize Mason was so young, looks like he’s going to be one heck of a mechanic! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
@C&C Equipment you should replace the final drive oil once more after a few more uses, see it as precautionary flush, you should get a thermal camera (or thermal rifle scope) helps find problems once stuff runns, I hope you do some farm tractor restoration some day They currently sell here like hot bagels , drop in new wet sleeves, injectors and pistons, lap some valves and replace rubber, like all the seals, replace clutch and filter service I got 8 45 to 80HP IHC for 800 each, sleeves, seals and work was like 2000each and I sold them for ~8000 each going by current market prices
Once again Sherlock Clinton, you solved the mystery. I honestly never doubted you for one second even though the process had to be very frustrating at times. Great job once again CLinton.
Despite the jokes and messing around that’s some very professional diagnosis and repair. Looks like you made something good out of something neglected, abused and broken. Nice work.
This will make a real nice machine for someone. For a project that was a total mystery, everything is coming together. I know next to nothing about this equipment but I love learning and enjoy the whole troubleshooting process.
The one cool thing about today’s technology is that your able to calibrate the Dozer as your working it. In the old days just like today if you have the knowledge you can fix things it’s just a different type of knowledge and skill sets that’s all!
I made a hose setup to use on the track adjusters when we wanted to retract them so the grease could be collected in a bucket and not make such a mess in the track housings.
This has to rate as one of the most challenging rebuilds you guys have faced off with, amazing the diagnostics, patience and team effort required, I cant wait for the final instalment. Great effort team
Hey hey hey Clint! You can't throw that cool looking military jeep truck thingy in your shot and not tell us about it. BTW, I love this dozer. I live them all, but I live that this one was so dead it was framed off the truck and you fixed it! You made it run again! You brought life back into something that had none. I wish someone could bring live back into my broken body.
You should have had uncle Scott help with this one..I would have mailed him back his man card . No good story ever started with one day I was sitting at my desk..lmao
When I was in the Army we had a parts machine until they needed for service, that came to a quick halt. Does not take long to dismantle a parts unit lol. Back in the 1970's. Another great video.
I never had any doubts about the ultimate outcome of the project. Mason is a great worker, takes all of the "BS" you guys toss his way and keeps on trucking, again job well done
I must say that the way the track splits is clever. Much better than trying to push the pin out. I went back through the video catching stills and I found one showing the tracks being on differently. Kevin is looking right at them so I would blame him. The thing is I don't know which one is on correctly, I am guessing the left hand one.
Hey! It runs like a DEERE! Who knew, you first started on it, it was pretty close to the scrap yard, nice to see it back in service, somebody is going to get a good dozer when you get thru with it Clint, just a pleasure to watch you gentlemen get it running. Looking forward to the next video sir, enjoy watching the 850 come to life, thanks for the update sir.
It looks like a dozer. It sounds like a dozer. It acts like a dozer. I believe you have resurrected a big dozer lol. You giys did outstanding work on the old girl. Well done
If you run that fancy green tractor on diesel it will run better and get up to highway speeds. 😂 Hopefully y'all aren't in the shop and have a great weekend.
Clint, it is amazing what you get done with one hand. Your viewers would love it if you could hire a full-time cameraman so they could witness your expertise with both hands.
On this remembrance Day I wish to thank my son and past and present soldiers
I think Mason is a young bad ass !! He's learning from the Best and learning a sense of humor at the same time ! Young guys learn better in that environment !! Great mentors guys !!
Is Mason now officially the new straight man in your comedy act? Keep up the good work.
Watching Mason grow in confidence and competence, taking part in the jokes rather than being the butt of them and seeing him shine is one of the most gratifying aspects of watching these videos. That young man is going to be an asset to wherever he ends up working. Regards to all at C&C from Scotland.
Mason needs to ask more questions and as ...why !
The track is on backwards, right hand side. Mason is a darn good worker, he fits in good with you guys. Keep smilin
With one track on backwards does that mean we have a rabid Deere? (runs around in circles). I know, I know - already got my coat and slamming the door on my way out fighting off all those tumbleweeds.
@@philhunt9297 once you get in the seat your ok lol
Right side is backwards.
I think your right I'll go back for another look 👍@@leifwilson7053
You were right@@leifwilson7053
I enjoy watching old military equipment get a new life and looking best in military colors
Carried in and it drives out, great job. And you did it on the USMC birthday! Semper Fi
Happy birthday!
hi all just to say if it was not for dirt perfect buying the first or his 850js from you guys i would have not found your channel so glad he did you guys have the best content on here please keep doing what you do super content thank you 👍👍👍👍
The same here, I have been following your channel ever since and will continue to do so.
Ace operator and mechanic should see that

Darn. I better focus more so I can catch these test questions. Congratulations on acing the exam.
Could see the relief on your face when she started to move forward !! Thanks for sharing great videos you guys hit it out the park yet again.
Clint pointing out old Fords at the beginning of the video lol.

Good night, I know if you realized that they put that caterpillar back upside down as it came 😲😬🤔🤔🤔
Clinton, Kevin and Mason you all have done an amazing job on that Dozer. Especially when it was a "HOT MESS"! Thank you for sharing! 👌
Kevin, you are making some progress. I only heard “bupp” or “bub” 11 times
You guys are pumping out the content. As long as the customers are happy and the lights stay on, keep it up.
That 850J is a beast! If it’s broke, the C&C Crew can fix it! Taking an 850J from trash to treasure! Great job y’all! Take care and I’ll see ya down the road…
You need to let Mason try out the dozer!!
Enjoying using the 650j we bought from C and C.Keep the videos coming, entertaining as well as educating.
Good deal!

Absolutely love these "some assembly required" videos!! Always good for a laugh! Thumbs up! Stay safe! Jim
Good to see that ole blade getting shined up👍👍👌
Love the video Clint and the Guy's working on the Dozer , you will win .

She’s coming along, can’t wait to see it painted and all pretty, thank you for your videos.
No matter how hard these machines fight back, the eventual outcome is NEVER in doubt. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

right track on backward😃
What a nice young apprentice you've got in Mason. Draft him before any other shop does!
Shows the good ethics of this dealer.
Excellent outcome in 1 week.
A lot of work 👍
Mona Lisa finally made an appearance. Didn’t see a smile.
Did hear some complaining, which was reassuring me the fame hadn’t gone to his head.
Love that boy. He reminds me of me when I was his age.
@56:43 you can tell the right side track is on backwards. Great video Clint. Love seeing it brought back to life.
Another dozer saved!
Clint, it’s impressive and as I said right off, you guys would have that dozer running. Minor issues to fix then off to paint. Probably already have a buyer for it. This is why I love watching channel, for the challenges get into.
Who wouldn’t want to buy a low hour machine checked over by 3 master mechanics.
These are some extremely talented guys. They know their stuff. Great videos!!!
The problem with the undercarriage is one side is backwards I think it's the left one
Unless the tracks on the 850's in the older vids are on backwards too, I actually think it is the one they worked on. Full disclosure: I am only looking at videos from my arm chair:)

Once again Sherlock Clinton, you solved the mystery. I honestly never doubted you for one second even though the process had to be very frustrating at times. Great job once again CLinton.
i noticed on the first video and asked if the right-side track was on backward when you didn't turn it around just assumed it didn't matter.
Despite the jokes and messing around that’s some very professional diagnosis and repair.
Looks like you made something good out of something neglected, abused and broken. Nice work.
Looks like this project is gaining some traction, it's getting back on track.
....
Get it? Back on track. 😁😎🤟
Nice... I know Mason appreciates you tracking all the way across the shop so he will have to sweep
Nice looking old ford truck 👍 Nice color to 😆.
Nice job as always 👍
I think why I love heavy equipment is that it is slow, precise, and accurate, and it’s kool 😊
This will make a real nice machine for someone. For a project that was a total mystery, everything is coming together. I know next to nothing about this equipment but I love learning and enjoy the whole troubleshooting process.

Couldn't it be re-used, if it was clean?
@@erik_dk842 It probably could. We used it on fifth wheel plates.

Been looking forward to this episode all week. Regards from North Wales on a wet, windy & miserable Friday night!
If you machine the head off a master link bolt you can use it as a dowel to line the track up to put the pad back on Dave from Cornwall in the uk
WHAT A TEAM EFFORT. GREAT VIDEO GUYS.
I am glad it worked out . I had my fingers crossed for you .
Hey hey hey Clint! You can't throw that cool looking military jeep truck thingy in your shot and not tell us about it.

Shake your Harbour Freight adjustable wrench just right and it opens and closes 😅 with no other input.
Y’all are great mentors! Just a wonderful place to learn and work! Thanks
she seems to push dirt good.from how she arrived and looked untill now, wow.great work
Thumbs up before I even watch... happy hour for me
You're the best!
Hope y'all are having a great veterans day weekend really enjoy your videos
You should have had uncle Scott help with this one..I would have mailed him back his man card . No good story ever started with one day I was sitting at my desk..lmao
I love Clint hating on the harbor freight crescent wrench. Reminds me of my late father he always called adjustable’s “Puerto Rican socket sets”
Exhaust stack size, gotta keep it proprietary…
Captain Kleeman is doing you proud with the 555, thanks for making this happen !
Clint, you are a Diesel Mo-canic of the first magnitude. Love watching you and the boys.
Nice! hope the margins work out on this one.
I have been a subscriber for many a moon now, keep up the great content Clint and C&C crew.
Great job guys.

Chest mount or head mount works.
Thank you for taking us along!
I love what you guys do, because you have shown me a different side of heavy equipment
Great Vid👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the great video
Why is it, Tucker is the only guy with tools in his hand..
The only guy who actually works in that shop.
great video clint shame you have to remove the track as its on backwards lol
