would be possible if you can find a good MT1 shank the will fit a drill chuck. But I could not seeing one be used since the power of the machine is so low and they do not recommend a chuck so....

I just got the updated 3421 model, seems they fixed the tool rest issue and the motor is now 3.2 amp, 120v
The motor is also now sealed

Throw that crap in the trash, and go get logins, or Delta midi lathe that should make you 🙂 no one should be tricked in to buying a crappy lathe!
