Thanks for writing in and glad you enjoyed the video Sam. For what it's worth, this is the "official reply" from YT when we asked them about the changes, not only to the improved feel on trail. The motor differences were definitely the biggest improvement over the 2019 we rode. Obviously, there is also the chance there was a QC issue from Fox and perhaps we had a bad shock, but per YT's reply, the 2020 has a different tune. The production value of your videos is absolutely superb. Nice that you pop a little humour in too. As far as Giant is concerned, I too was shocked by how much torque the Yamaha motor had. How tall is the guy that said " this bike was made for me.
Hey Damien, Thanks a lot. It was the 2020 Mullet version. theloamwolf.com/2020/03/01/emtb-roundup-yt-decoy-pro-race-review/
Above is the full written review on the website.
That guy was 5'9 the rest of us are 5'11"- 6-foot
Awesome review guys just stuck on sizing for myself at the moment. Was the large frame the correct size for the guys who was 5”11 and 6foot? Im 5”11 myself and stuck between getting the large or xl but as in from the uk and can’t really try them out. Thanks
@@callumbird6882 We liked the Large quite a bit. Unless you like riding stretch limousines, the Large should be great.
The Loam Wolf thanks for the response guys
The Loam Wolf in the video you said the orbea had the shortest reach with 455? But the yt is 450? Sorry to be nit picking but im stuck between buying the two lol
Great review ! videos ! good job, well done
Great vídeo :)
Thank you very much Andre
Norco?
Kool vid. How about KTM next round? They did win the inaugural eMTB UCI XC.
We'd love to get one, and a Husqvarna to match our fE350 dirt bike. Sadly we don't get any responses from their website and it seems they aren't pressing much in North America.
@@TheLoamWolf I know right? When i read the race results I was like Team Who? Bike What? Those euros do their own thing when it comes to bikes. At any rate, that was the best bike shoot out of any kind Ive ever seen. Great work.
@@scottpratico1315 Thank you very much!
What trail were you riding? Would love to take my bike next time the wife drags me to the desert.
Sad Rocky didn't join
Watch our other video. Part 2.
Schwalbe Eddy Current is the way!
Orbea??? Not good construction, the place for battery is small, the battery cover is thin!!!
Looking for a review of a trek rail, ?
Watch our other video, it has all the bikes with 150mm or less of rear wheel travel, which includes the Trek Rail.
I heard a rumor you got a btr pinner is that going to be on the next category.... hope it wins because I have a deposit already lol
Haha... We do and the review is coming soon!
Getting stuck on head angles is lame. It’s a package.
No KTM or Haibike?
jak p no sorry. We have a Haibike in the Trail category. We tried but have no contacts at KTM or Husqvarna and it doesn’t appear they’re trying to make inroads for the North American market. We’d love to get them. March 4th our Trail video drops. Stay tuned.
The Loam Wolf I was thinking of Haibike in a more gnarly category. They make bikes that could be classified as downhill. Curious if it could really hold up to downhill use.
@@jakp8777 They certainly do. If you go to theloamwolf.com we actually reviewed their longer travel bike a few months back and addressed that! Go check it out. It may help.
yep, they're fun...but who can afford these prices ? spent $4500 on one 2 years ago and thought 'this price is insane'. it's fun, but c'mon
We don't disagree with you, it's crazy. But, these bikes are selling out year after year so...Apparently lots of people are?
2:11 I aspire to reach this level of lazy photography
Haha. It took him a lot of time to get that lazy.
Damn missed the e in the emtb......
PSBeard haha. Whoooops!! Hope you weren’t effended.
The Loam Wolf not at all, just not what I am looking for lol!
@@PSBeard 👍
No Trek
Check our Trail category video dropping today. That video will feature bikes with 150mm of rear wheel travel and less. The Trek Rail has 150, and if you're considering that bike, you should definitely go to our website to read the review.
Kenovo nr.1‼️
Nice video . Am a big fan of loam wolf hope I win the free bike😭🤧🤧
love u
16:24 ...vaping is just silly.
The rest of the video was very informative.
We totally agree. And we give him shit daily...However it's better than what he used to smoke, so we'll take it.
"affordable price". 6, 499$ lol
Within the e-bike market, unfortunately, that price tag is actually classed as “affordable”. I know... it’s mental.
My used SUV cost 7k
RAD
Is every one rich? A 8000 jeep ,way better. What planet is this?
greases hair, then puts helmet on....ewww lol
220+ lol more like 250
Do you feel better about yourself now?
Generation Lazy and their E-Mopeds that cost more than dirt bikes and are banned from single track here in N.C thank god!
Thanks for your input! Can't wait til the day you're on an e-moped and remember this conversation. We'll be smiling until then.
