decal? Ah, you mean the plastic cover when I was closing it the CPU bracket. It should pop out with a spin, and that is the most fun you can have while assembling a PC.
This comment section is filled with hate so I’m making something nice. Thank you for this video I can now build a pc with all the settings(I can’t remember the word) for the pc I want to build
Sorry, I have no space for empty boxes. I could save all and then put socks into one, a shirt into another... or, I could scan the box and make it into a computer wallpaper, and let the box be recycled into the box for 1090
It is harder to put it in later, and the MP is not not supported at the right places, so when you press it with screwdriver (for example tightening the cooler) you are either bending the MB if it is on a soft material, or ruining the bottom of it if it on hard surface.
Imagine a lab with 10 of these workstations and each of them is cycling through rainbow colors... One of them should play jingle bells all day long, and that gets old very quickly.
Yes. These are very similar. Small but significant advantage of the Msi - more USB ports; Once I connected everything I am missing two ports on this z270e and I had to go over the monitor hub.
I have the same build only that my cpu cooler is liquid cooling. And the rad is in the front since the top doesnt have space for it. But im running with issues with it my gpu is reaching +80c. I changed my fans and still same.
Also my fps in games isnt like other ppls build my cousin has the same build as mine but with different case and he gets a better fps than me and also better cooling temps
^ the guy who buys into the G 4 m 3 r B r 0 s marketing schemes and ends up paying an additional 50$ in added premium for pretty lights instead of better performance hardware.
When you have 90% of all liquid coolers fail on you, you go back to air and never look back. Most of my job is replacing coolers, and I have not replaced a single air cooler.
Case does not influence the performance, and it ends up under the table anyways. Also, for office purposes nobody would approve flashy cases and especially not more expensive than absolutely necessary
Hi tech guy. This is not a hate. I just wanted to say, for the same money, you would have got a much cooler or beter case. Because the hardware is great. You make good videos. Greeting
Thanks for the feedback. What I do for most YT videos is select the gear icon and in case of tutorial set the speed to 0.75 and if I know a lot about the topic, i'd set the speed to 1.25-1.5
Ahahaha, what do you think the heat spreader is? It's like a heatsink for the chips under it, let me know when he touches those or the contacts, even then he's not gonna break anything. A lot of the "not recommended" crap is old wives tales that just end up terrifying new builders because they think everything's made of glass.
Stock coolers are even smaller. Unless one plans to overclock, 212 is more than enough. No LQ for me ever again... I have replaced so many that they are not worth the trouble in professional environment
in your discription is a small misstake... you write "Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory" but the BIOS at 17:35 says 2x 16gb a 2400 MHz? :)
I have the ASUS ROG STRIX Z270H with an i7-7700k and Corsair Vengeance lpx 16gb 3200mhz and I cannot get my RAM to OC at 3200mhz?? It’s stuck at the base 2133mhz.. any help on that?
The speed increases of overclocking RAM are very small (less than 5%), which means having 100 fps instead 103 fps, and is hardly worth the trouble and instability, so I would not be worried about that.
7700k is fine with the 212evo? I’ve heard so many different opinions on the matter I ended up putting the extra money to my cooler instead of my graphics card. Oh well.
Teeqs You can see how the video is edited, the cooler is on the table and then the video is cut and now he have the cooler on his hands, so he could remove it on that edition.
Because no window means quieter case, the lights are distracting, especially if you are rendering at night, and because I have better things to do. That light rubbish is off in bios now
You can check the link in the description for up-to-date of that config. Just GTX 1080 is hard to get so they dont list the price anymore, but you just swap it to a different GPU
I built one with Strix for a VR show, but there were some issues with driver so I had to replace it with another card, so I wanted to play safe with this one
You can do that without touching the surface of the cpu. Generally you must always hold the cpu by its sides and avoid touching the surface heat spreader but if you do accidentally touch it, you must clean it properly with isopropyl before applying thermal paste and installing the cpu cooler, which you didn't
You inspired me so I got a i9, 64 GB RAM 3000MHz, 512GB SAMSUNG 960 PRO PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD - 3500MB/s Read & 2100MB/s Write, MSI Arsenal X299 TOMAHAWK, GTX1080 Ti for myself.

WeedWarrior dig flex do you mind selling one to me? I'm willing to go as high as 600 dollars if you got them for free. Im building a 2000 dollar rig and I need a way to save money
If your not over clocking your pc then it's a very good choice, it's cheap, does it's job and leaves plenty left in your budget for other components. I replaced my corsair h100 with it as a short term part but I decided to leave it in because, well, it does it's job and it's quiet!

If you really want to go into the terminology then this is a High End PC as "Personal Computer"; if you want a High End Workstation, then I would show a dual Xeon Workstation instead. If you draw a bell curve of the computer performance distribution then the right 25% of the peak of average would be high-end anyway
i also use i7 7700k+1080ti+ram16 and i dont think its a high end computer. its just a really good and worth the price but not high tbh , its high performance but not high end. It is High End PC "Personal Computer". Maybe less than 5% of people have that, or stronger, so that is high end. High End workstation is something else
Cooler protective plastic was removed during cut... in case you wanted to post the same comment as 10 other people
Why don't you put a comment in the video explaining that point?
Whats the total cost?
Price of the bild please :)
That hurt when you ripped the GTX 1080 Ti box :(

why. Don't install ram,cpu , cooler outside the case ?

GTAV
Witcher3
Battlefield 1

I got as far as the GPU box being demolished and had to stop!!!
:) Do you save the boxes? I guess you don't live in a tiny NY apartment
