Harry is heavily influenced and loves the 70s and 80s! he's a huge mick jagger fan and is also often called the mick jagger of this generation, a total rockstar! he is a huge fan of fleetwood mac and is great friends with Stevie Nicks, they've performed together a couple of times and have this mother-son bond! he's her muse! you should definitely check out Stevie and Harry's first performance together at the Troubadour, it's very heartwarming and he turns into a total fangirl singing alongside his idol xx ps- loved your reaction!!!!
@@debbymabalcon2789 More respect with the classics! If you like the music of Harry Styles you like the classics, even if unconsciously even if is reversed. “One guitar player looked oddly bored” lmao that’s Mitch he always looks like that. He helped Harry write his first and second album and is one of his best friends. Harry likes to joke on stage about how he doesn’t speak lol
She was the drummer in a band called Hot Chip before joining Harry’s band. Really, really, talented band!! Mitch is a phenom too. As are the rest of the band. Harry is the mastermind, but this band are pivotal to the success of these bangers! XO
Harry grew up listening to 60s and 70s rock. He's a huge fan of the Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Bowie and all those rock legends and he takes a lot of inspiration from them. He's been compared to Mick Jagger ever since 2010 so he's always had that thing going on, even when he was a kid. Even Mick himself has said that Harry makes the best Mick impression after an SNL skit Harry did playing him haha.
I just recently started on a harry styles journey myself. And I have searched youtube for videos like yours and others. The common reaction to people who were not familiar with him at first. Was Mick Jagger. As a old school rock and roll. I think it's Mick jagger swagger with some David bowie flair. My simple answer is. The kid is talented.
You should def check out Tommy Marz on Sound Vapors! He has also very recently started reacting to Harry, and it is delightful to watch as he is a musician and a old-school rock fan.. and totally falling in love with Harry :D
Even one of his ex-bandmates, Zayn has once said that the song "Moves like Jagger" reminds him of Harry because Harry got the moves like Jagger, so you're not wrong :)
I admire how Harry Styles has taken his influences and added his own unique flavor to them, he comes across so authentic and you know its just who he is, and what a voice and stage presence! Hes incredible!!
Thanks for a cool reaction. Mitch is the lead guitarist and one of Harry's best friends and writing collaborators. He is always very chill looking and never looks very enthusiastic. That's just his style, ha ha.
Mitch (the Guitarist) isn’t bored he just doesn’t smile. But that’s why we love him because he’s amazing and really at concerts it’s not Harry were looking for it’s Mitch
So yes to being a rolling stones fan, as others have said (as well as mercury, bowie, stevie, elvis), but more to the point: you should check out his first SNL stint, when he actually did a Mick Jagger imitation for a skit (Jagger approved imitation, to boot). Lots of people have definitely noticed the Jagger thing, to the extent that he's always discussed for if they go through with a biopic. Interesting sidenote is his friendship with Ronnie Woods. You should also check out some of his moves during his concerts, especially during kiwi, because his natural moves are very Jagger-esque at times. A little Jagger, a little Bowie, a little Mercury, mixed up. And his guitarist (and one of his best friends) Mitch, always gets called out for his face lol. He's just not an emotive dude.
Love this performance. I gravitate to his music as it got the 70s 80s rock vibe I grew up listening to. He's a beast on the stage. Try to do his Only Angel (BBC1) and Kiwi ( James Corden Late Late Night) live performances. Mick Jagger is one of his influences and he's got some of his moves. I see the making of a legend in this amazing kid🦋
One of my favorite performances, even after all this time. I'd also love to see you react to something more recent: His "tiny desk concert" on npr. Very recent and the live mix is amazing. You can hear every piece of his band. Thnaks.
Thanks for this reaction, I never get bored by this performance. Other comments below confirmed that he is a huge fan of the 70s-80s music, and can be easily called a geek, because he knows a lot about “old music”. Once he shared a playlist on the radio surprising people with some of the bands/singers on the list (like Billie Holiday, The Zombies, T.Rex, The Kinks, etc.) About the band: the drummer (Sarah) and the two guitarists (Adam on bass and Mitch on lead guitar) are with him since the beginning of his solo career - 2017. The keyboard player (Clare) has been replaced from 2019. The guitarist that you said looked bored, if you're talking about the guy on the right, that's Mitch and he's new to all of this. And the rest is history. He's a great guy, a little quiet but slowly coming out of his shell being on tour with Harry.
He progressively gets better with each live performance of this song. I've binged them all many times. I like to hear which you think is best if you were to binge them as well. Great reaction, btw.
Harry grew up on 70s music. It's what his parents played for him and it's how his tastes developed. If you want to see Mick Jagger moves. You should either react to his St Paul performance of Medicine or him doing Kiwi 3 times live. Those are what cemented the Mick vibes for me.
This is a beautiful reaction ❤️ Mitch Rowland is a beast on the guitar and Sarah Jones is BADASS on drums . Harry’s music is heavily 70’s influenced . He’s a huge Fleetwood Mac fan and has performed with Stevie Nicks on several occasions ...she’s joined him onstage at The Troubadour for one of his first solo shows and also his Fine Line One Night Only show for his second album debut show . What a great reaction, thank you very much. I loved the video and read all the comments but it should be noted, as flattered as Harry might be to being compared to Mick Jagger, the truth remains, all that swag up on the stage is pure Harry Styles and no-one else.

yess!! his music is very heavily influenced by 70’s , he’s a huge steve nicks, fleetwood mac, mick jagger, fan:))) also mitch the guitarist isn’t bored he’s just very very shy he’s also engaged to sarah the drummer ! i rlly enjoy all your reactions to harry bc he’s just SO freaking amazing i love him
I recommend watching the “Behind the Album” documentary that was made about his first album. It’s so good. There are also performances in it. And it kinda explains his vibe too :)
is inspirations in everything from music to clothing is heavily influenced by classic rock. he pulls from the beatles, the stones, david bowie, and fleetwood and others in a lot of what he does. I'd recommend a full listen through of his first and second albums, bust especially his second Fine Line.
Mitch (guitarist) is not bored he's just very shy! He and Harry are best friends and co wrote the album
Why no relies?

Loved this video and reaction! I’ll have to check out more of his music.
You should definitely check out their cover of The Cain and Sledgehammer. He loves the 60s and 70s and is a huge fan of Fleetwood Mac, Rolling Stones, Peter Gabriel and so on. As for Mitch, he may look bored but this was in 2017, and he had never toured or performed in front of large audiences. He's an amazing guitarist and musician, and he co-wrote both albums with Harry
What a great reaction, thank you very much. I loved the video and read all the comments
but it should be noted, as flattered as Harry might be to being compared to Mick Jagger,
the truth remains, all that swag up on the stage is pure Harry Styles and no-one else.
I love your reaction to this! I'm a fan and hitting that subscribe button!
Thank you so much!!
the sound of the wind is because flying is the theme. He is singing as if looking down from above in the video he is actually flying in the air.Video is dope too.Flying is a motif in many, many of his songs.Yes, he is big fan of Stones, Bowie, and dresses with 70's influences in his stage costumes.
Pls react to rockstar Harry - kiwi at late late show.u will love the mick jagger in him.
yess!! his music is very heavily influenced by 70’s , he’s a huge steve nicks, fleetwood mac, mick jagger, fan:))) also mitch the guitarist isn’t bored he’s just very very shy he’s also engaged to sarah the drummer ! i rlly enjoy all your reactions to harry bc he’s just SO freaking amazing i love him
I love he writes his stuff!
How many instruments does Harry play?
I’ve seen him play a little piano but just the guitar I think.....
Just loved the reactions! 👏👏👏
He has such big influences of rock n roll thats why hehe he loves bowie and artists from that era
Yo creo que si me encantan los Rolling Stones pero también le gusta mucho la música de los 70 de los 60 80 es el tipo de música que me guste A.M.
I love harry styles music and his voice he can sing anytype of music and sound great!!!!!!👏🥑🍓🍉🥝
You should watch him as Mick Jagger on SNL....he does a great job!! :) Great reaction!!
Harry es el mejor cantante que escuchado en años y tengo 75 años
Falling Please
I recommend watching the “Behind the Album” documentary that was made about his first album. It’s so good. There are also performances in it. And it kinda explains his vibe too :)
He plays Mick on celebrity Family Feud on SNL
is inspirations in everything from music to clothing is heavily influenced by classic rock. he pulls from the beatles, the stones, david bowie, and fleetwood and others in a lot of what he does. I'd recommend a full listen through of his first and second albums, bust especially his second Fine Line.
Me just waiting for the high note reaction !!!😝
I really love this
Harry grew up listening to 70/80's music, that's why most of his music is inspired from it :)
Yes, everyone was kung fu fighting. And don't call me Shirley! EPIC LINE, at least the second half was.
I am extremely amused that you pointed out the wind noise then pretty much recreated it after his first phrase lol
Pls react to harry's cover of sledge hammer by peter gabriel. This is an amazing cover too!
Have you seen Harry perform Sledgehammer on Howard Stern? It’s awesome.
